Mounting on the wall
The siren is equipped with two tamper protections.
1. The spring on the back to stop any of that siren unnoticed can be removed from the
wall. If the spring is released, triggered the siren.
2. Screw at the bottom. This prevents the batteries can be removed. Loosen the screw
triggered the siren.
Before mounting it is important to disable the tamper protection to avoid the bell box
sounding an alarm.
It is turned off when all the blue LED light on the siren lights.
If not, disable the siren using the alarm system remote control.
Pressing buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds.
The siren is now off for 1 hour.
• Ensure that the tamper lock is fully depressed when the siren tted
- if there is unevenness in the wall so it is not pressed all the
way in, there must be a suitable material between the wall
and protection, so the protection spring is pressed down.
• Use the covers supplied screws and plugs
to mount the backplate.
• Set the siren onto the backplate.
• Attach the front panel with the screw at the bottom.
Activate the siren
• Press the button for 2 seconds to deactivate the siren “battery change” mode.
The blue light will turn off and the red LED light will ash every 10 second.
Now siren activated.
• The siren will now begin to howl within 3 seconds after it receives an alarm signal
from the house alarm panel.
The system can be tested by pressing the remote control “Panic” button. Be prepared to
turn off the alarm quickly.
If the siren not begins to sound, it must be checked that:
• house code is the same for the siren and the rest of the alarm system.
• The siren no longer in “battery change” mode.
• The siren is at a distance from the alarm system panel where it can receive the
signal.
If the siren is removed from the wall without being turned off, it will immediately begin to
sound.
When the batteries are running low, the LED indicator will ash every second.
