WARNING:
• Please read instructions carefully before
assembling and using this product. Failure to do so
could result in serious injury.
• Suitable for children in the age of 18 months to 5
years. Maximum weight 22.7 kg (50 lbs). Only use
for children who can get in and out of bed
unassisted.
• This Bed Guard should not be used as a
substitute for a cot, as it cannot provide the same
level of safety as a cot.
• For use with beds that are a minimum length of
140 cm, and mattresses with a depth of max. 20
cm.
• Always ensure that the Bed Guard, when in the
locked position or when placed in the fi tted
position, is fi rmly pushed against the mattress.
• Once fi tted, the Bed Guard should be checked
regularly to ensure that it is properly fi tted and
secure and the fi xings are in place.
• The Bed Guard should be periodically checked
for its general condition with particular reference
to the security of any locking mechanism and/or
hinges that are used on the product.
• Additionnal or replacement parts should be
obtained only from the manufacturer.
• The Bed Guard should not be used on a sleeping
surface that is more than 600mm from the fl oor.
WARNING : To prevent the risk of strangulation it
is essential to ensure that when the bedguard is
fi tted into position, there is a gap of at least 250
mm (10 in), between each end of the bed and the
corresponding end of the bedguard.

Cleaning instructions:
IMPORTANT! To clean wipe with a damp cloth and
dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Do
not immerse in water.
Advice from Safety 1st:
• Always keep an eye on the child, since children
quickly become more independent.
• Continue use with the traditional child cot until
your child is able to climb out of the cot.
• Not suitable for use with bunk beds, youth beds,
infl atable mattresses or waterbeds.
• Discontinue use if damaged, broken or if parts
are missing.
• This product is not a toy. Ensure that children do
not play with the Bed Guard or use as a ladder.

Dear Customer,
Thank you for the confi dence you have shown in
us by choosing one of our products. We hope it
will meet all your expectations. This certifi cate
indicates that this product has been manufactured
according to the quality standards applicable and
that it has been subjected to numerous checks
during the various manufacturing stages. Should
an anomaly occur during the warranty period, we
will respect the conditions stipulated in the
guarantee.
Guarantee Certifi cate:
We guarantee that this product complies
with the security regulations currently in effect,
and that it is free from defects in material and
craftsmanship at the time it is purchased by the
retailer.
If this product fails within 24 months of the original
purchase and under normal use as defi ned in the
user’s manual, we will repair or replace the product
(for more information regarding our warranty
policy, ask your retailer or consult our website),
except
in the following cases:
• Use and purpose other than those indicated
in the instructions for use.
• Installation not in accordance with the
instructions.
• Repair carried out by a non-approved person or
retailer.
• Proof of purchase not presented.
• Product not maintained.
• Replacement of any parts subject to wear
(wheels, areas which rub, etc.) during normal
use.

From the date the product is purchased.
For how long?
For 24 consecutive months, non-transferable; only
the fi rst purchaser benefi ts from this.
What do you have to do?
After you purchase your product, you must keep
the sales receipt showing the date of purchase.
If a problem should arise,
the product must be taken back to the retailer
from whom it was bought. Any product sent
directly to the manufacturer will not be covered
by the guarantee.

• Bitte lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanleitung vor dem
Zusammenbau und der Benutzung des Produkts

• Nur für Kinder im Alter zwischen 18 Monaten und
5 Jahren geeignet. Höchstzulässiges
Körpergewicht: 22,7 Kg. Nur für Kinder bestimmt,
die ohne Hilfe aus dem Bett klettern können.
• Dieses Bettgitter ersetzt nicht ein Gitterbett. Es
bietet nicht dasselbe Niveau an Sicherheit wie ein
Gitterbett.
• Das Bett muss mindestens 140 cm lang und die
Matratze zwischen 20 cm.
• Prüfen Sie immer, dass das Gitter gut installiert
und verriegelt ist.
• Achten Sie jedes Mal darauf, dass das Bettgitter
fest gegen die Matratze anliegt.
• Kontrollen Sie regelmäßig den allgemeinen
Zustand des Bettgitters, insbesondere die
Sperrmechanismen und/oder die Scharniere.
• Das Bettgitter sollte nicht auf einer Bettfl äche
benutzt werden, die sich mehr als 60 cm über dem
Boden befi ndet.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Zubehör und
Ersatzteile, die vom Hersteller verkauft oder von
diesem zugelassen worden sind.
ACHTUNG: Um der Strangulierungsgefahr zu
begegnen, sollten Sie unbedingt darauf achten,
dass das Bettgitter in der vorgesehenen Position
noch eine Lücke von mindestens 250 mm zwischen
dem Kopf- und Fußende und den entsprechenden
Enden des Bettgitters frei lässt.

WICHTIG! Zur Reinigung mit einem feuchten Tuch
abwischen und gründlich trocknen. Keine
scheuernden Reinigungsmittel benutzen. Nicht in
Wasser eintauchen.

schnell selbständig werden.
• Benutzen Sie das Babybett solange Ihr Kind nicht
in der Lage ist, allein herauszuklettern.

über 5 Jahre, Luftmatratzen oder Wasserbetten
geeignet.
• Das Bettgitter nicht mehr verwenden, wenn es
beschädigt oder zerbrochen ist oder wenn einzelne
Teile fehlen.
• Dieses Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Verhindern Sie,
dass Kinder mit dem Bettgitter spielen.
• Benutzen Sie das Gitter niemals in seiner

Wir garantieren, dass dieses Produkt den
gegenwärtig gültigen Sicherheitsnormen
entspricht und dass es zum Zeitpunkt des
Kaufs durch den Fachhändler keine
Konzeptions- und Fabrikationsmängel
aufweißt. Im Verlauf des Herstellungsprozesses
wurde das Produkt ebenfalls verschiedenen
Qualitätskontrollen unterzogen. Sollte trotz all
unserer Bemühungen innerhalb von 24
Monaten nach Ihrem Kauf (bei normalem
Gebrauch) ein Material- oder Herstellungsfehler
auftreten, verpfl ichten wir uns zur Einhaltung
der Garantiebedingungen. In diesem Fall
wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler. Für
mehr Informationen zu gültigen
Garantiebedingungen und -bestimmungen,
können Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler wenden
oder sich auf unserer Webseite informieren.
In folgenden Fällen ist eine Garantie
ausgeschlossen:
• Andere Verwendung oder Bestimmung als in

• Einreichung zur Reparatur durch einen von

• Reparatur durch Dritte oder einen von uns

• Schaden tritt infolge unsachgemäßer oder
mangelhafter Nutzung oder Wartung,
Fahrlässigkeit oder Stoßeinwirkungen am
Stoff und/oder Gestell auf.
• Normale Abnutzungserscheinungen infolge
des täglichen Gebrauchs des Produkts
(Räder, rotierende oder sich bewegende Teile
usw.).
Ab wann gilt die Garantie?
Die Garantie beginnt am Tag des Produktkaufs.
Für welchen Zeitraum?
Die Garantie erstreckt sich über 24
aufeinanderfolgende Monate. Die Garantie ist
nicht übertragbar und ausschließlich der
Erstkäufer ist der alleinige Nutznießer.
Was müssen Sie im Falle eines Defektes tun?
Bewahren Sie den Kaufbeleg gut auf. Das
Kaufdatum muss auf dem Beleg gut lesbar
sein. Bei Problemen oder Defekten wenden Sie
sich bitte an Ihren Verkäufer. Es besteht kein
Anspruch auf Tausch oder Rücknahme. Eine
Reparatur führt nicht zur Verlängerung der
Garantie. Für Produkte, die direkt an den
Hersteller eingeschickt werden, wird keine
Garantie gewährt.
Diese Garantie entspricht der Europäischen
Richtlinie 1999/44/EG vom 25. Mai 1999.

Conseils de nettoyage:
IMPORTANT! Pour nettoyer, essuyer à l’aide d’un
linge humide et bien sécher. Ne pas utiliser de
détergents. Ne pas plonger dans l’eau.
Conseil Safety 1st:
• Toujours garder un œil sur l’enfant car l’enfant prend
vite son autonomie.
• Continuer à privilégier l’utilisation du lit bébé tant
que votre enfant ne peut pas en sortir seul.
• Ne convient pas pour les lits gigognes, les lits
juniors, les matelas gonfl ables ou les matelas à eau.
• Cessez toute utilisation lorsque la barrière est
endommagée, cassée ou lorsqu’il manque des
pièces.
• Ce produit n’est pas un jouet. Empêchez les
enfants de jouer avec la barrière.
• N’utilisez jamais la barrière en position de
rangement.

Nous vous garantissons que ce produit a été
fabriqué conformément aux normes de sécurité
européennes et exigences de qualité
actuellement en vigueur pour ce produit et
qu’au moment de son achat par le détaillant, ce
produit était exempt de tout défaut de
composition et de fabrication. Pendant son
processus de production, ce produit a
également été soumis à divers contrôles de
qualité. Si, malgré tous nos efforts, un défaut de
matériau et/ou un vice de fabrication venait à
survenir pendant la période de garantie de 24
mois (dans le cas d’une utilisation normale, telle
que décrite dans le mode d’emploi), nous nous
engageons à respecter les conditions de
garantie. Vous êtes alors prié de vous adresser à
votre vendeur. Pour des informations plus
détaillées concernant l’applicabilité des
conditions de garantie, veuillez prendre contact
avec votre vendeur ou regarder sur le site

La garantie est exclue dans les cas suivants :

utilisation journalière (roues, éléments rotatifs
et mobiles, etc.).
Quand la garantie prend-elle effet ?
La période de garantie débute à la date d’achat
du produit.
Pour quelle période ?
Pour une période de 24 mois consécutifs. La
garantie est uniquement valable pour le premier
propriétaire et n’est pas transmissible.
Que devez-vous faire ?
Lors de l’achat du produit, veuillez conserver

date d’achat doit y être clairement visible. En
