Label Cutter Kit Installation - Rotary Type
STEP PROCEDURE
9. Attach the front of the c tter to the printer panel with screw s pplied in c tter
kit. Fig. 10
10. Refer to Figs. 11. Disconnect cable from the display panel PC Board.
Disconnect the opposite end from the power s pply at CN2.
11. Ro te the cable ends from the c tter (thro gh access hole) and down behind
the motor and nder the belt. Attach the connector end "CUTP" to the power
s pply at CN2. Attach the remaining cable connector to "CN10" on the main
PC Board.
12. Sec re the cables to the printer wall with the s pplied cable hold down.
13. On the front panel, set DSW3-1 to the ON position.
14. Attach the replacement door to the printer. Fig. 12
15. Refer to Figs. 1. Replace the side cover previo sly removed.
16. Load the label stock and gently close the printer front door while feeding the
labels thro gh the c tter assembly and the front door. Verify that the labels
feed thro gh the c tter assembly witho t jamming. Close the access door.
17. Power p the printer and verify the c tter operation. R n several labels and
adj st the pitch offset so that the c tter activates at the desired location.
