å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty
carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor.

To begin assembly, push four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS
(L) into the large holes in the ENDS (A and B).

å Fasten the ENDS (A and B) to the TOP (C). Tighten four
TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS.

1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the
adjoining part.
NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully
inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking
the FASTENER.
2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight
as possible.

å Fasten the TOP MOLDING (J) to the TOP (C). Tighten
three TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS.
å Slip a LARGE RUBBER SLEEVE (P) over the TIE
PLATE (O). The RUBBER SLEEVE will be a tight fit.
å Then, fasten the TIE PLATE (O) to the TOP MOLDING (J).
Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (Z).

å Slide the FEET (I and K) into the notches in the SKIRTS (H
and R).
å Use a hammer to drive a PROPEL NUT (T) into the holes
in the FEET (I and K). Now, turn an ADJUSTABLE
GLIDE (S) into each PROPEL NUT.

å Fasten the SKIRTS (H and R) to the BOTTOM (D). Use
four BLACK 9/16" WAFER HEAD SCREWS (AA) through
the FEET and into the BOTTOM.
å NOTE: To raise a corner of the unit, turn the
ADJUSTABLE GLIDE counter-clockwise. To lower a
corner, turn the ADJUSTABLE GLIDE clockwise.

å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold
the BACK (E) and lay it over your unit.
å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (E).
Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make
it “square”.
å Fasten the BACK (E) to your unit using the NAILS (CC).
å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access
through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed.

å Fasten two HINGES (M) to each DOOR (F). Use eight
BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (BB).

å Carefully stand your unit upright.
å Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the
mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right
diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it
against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw.
å Fasten the DOOR (F) to the LEFT END (B) as shown in
the lower diagram. Use the screws in the HINGES. You
should start each SCREW a few turns before completely
tightening any of them.
å Fasten a PULL (Q) to the DOOR (F). Use two BLACK 7/8"
MACHINE SCREWS (Y).
å Repeat this step for the other DOOR (F).
å See the next step for DOOR adjustments.

å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES.
å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments.
å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS:
To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), loosen the mounting screw several turns, then turn the adjusting screw in or
out. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments.
å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired
location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments.
å To adjust the DOORS in or out (depth), loosen the mounting screw one turn and move the DOORS in or out, as needed.

å IMPORTANT: Units that are stacked on top of another
unit must be attached to each other as indicated in this
step. These units must be positioned against a wall and
the upper unit must be attached to a wall.
å You may need someone's help in this step.
å Remove the SKIRTS from the upper unit.
å Fasten the upper unit to the lower unit. Use two SILVER
1-1/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (X) through the holes in the
underside of the TOP (C) and into the BOTTOM (D).
å NOTE: The holes in the TOP are not through holes. Use
a little extra force while turning these SCREWS.

å Place your unit into its final position against a wall.
å Fasten the SAFETY BRACKET (N) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16” LARGE HEAD SCREW (Z) into the top of the
unit and a BLACK 1-7/8” FLAT HEAD SCREW (W) into a stud in your wall.
å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (V) over the METAL PINS (U). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in
the ENDS (A and B). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELF (G) onto the METAL PINS.
å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information.
å This completes assembly. Clean with your favorite furniture polish or a damp cloth. Wipe dry.

ÉTAPE 12
Placer l’unité à sa place finale, contre un mur.
Il est recommandé d'utiliser la CONSOLE DE SÉCURITÉ (N) pour renforcer la
stabilité. Utiliser une VIS NOIRE TÊTE LARGE 14 mm (Z) dans le haut de l'élément
et une VIS NOIRE TÊTE PLATE 48 mm (W) dans un montant du mur.
Enfoncer les MANCHONS EN CAOUTCHOUC (V) sur les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (U). Insérer
les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL dans les trous choisis dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B). Poser la
TABLETTE RÉGLABLE (G) sur les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL
.
REMARQUE :
Prière de lire attentivement les importantes informations concernant
la sécurité qui figurent sur la couverture arrière du manuel d'instructions.
Ceci complète l'assemblage. Pour nettoyer, utiliser l'encaustique pour meubles préférée ou un
chion humide. Essuyer.
ÉTAPE 11
OPTIONS D’EMPILAGE
(Si les unités ne sont pas empilées, passer à l’étape 12)
IMPORTANT : Les unités qui sont empilées sur une autre unité doivent être
attachées les unes aux autres comme il l’est indiqué dans cette étape. Ces unités
doivent être positionnées contre un mur et l’unité supérieure doit être attachée au
mur. L'assistance d'autrui peut être nécessaire à cette étape.
Retirer les PLINTHES de l’unité supérieure.
Fixer l’unité supérieure à l’unité inférieure. Utiliser deux VIS ARGENTÉES TÊTE PLATE
28 mm (X) à travers les trous sur l’envers du DESSUS (C) et dans le DESSOUS (D).
REMARQUE : Les trous dans le DESSUS ne sont pas des trous traversants. Il faudra
forcer un peu pour serrer ces VIS.
ÉTAPE 10
Consulter le schéma agrandi pour identifier les pièces des CHARNIÈRES.
Il faut peut-être ajuster les PORTES. Suivre les indications ci-dessous pour ajuster.
RÉGLAGES DES PORTES :
Pour ajuster les PORTES latéralement (horizontalement), desserrer la vis de
montage quelques tours et tourner la vis de réglage vers l'intérieur ou vers
l'extérieur. Serrer la vis de montage après avoir ajusté.
Pour ajuster les PORTES de haut en bas (verticalement), desserrer les deux vis de
réglage. Déplacer les PORTES verticalement à l'emplacement désiré. Serrer les vis
après avoir ajusté.
Pour ajuster les PORTES vers l'intérieur où vers l'extérieur (profondeur), desserrer
la vis de montage un tour et déplacer les PORTES vers l'intérieur ou vers
l'extérieur. Serrer la vis de montage après avoir ajusté.
ÉTAPE 9
Relever, avec précaution, l'élément dans sa position verticale.
REMARQUE : Il est peut-être nécessaire de desserrer les vis de montage et de réglage
pour faire glisser la charnière partiellement hors de la fente avant de la fixer à l’EXTRÉMITÉ.
Resserrer la vis avant de monter la CHARNIÈRE à l’EXTRÉMITÉ.
Fixer une PORTE (F) à l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (B). Utiliser les vis fournies avec les
CHARNIÈRES. Voir l'étape suivante pour réglages.
Fixer une POIGNÉE (Q) à la PORTE (F). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRES À MÉTAUX 22 mm (Y).
Répéter cette étape pour l'autre porte.
ÉTAPE 8
Fixer deux CHARNIÈRES (M) à chaque PORTE (F). Utiliser huit VIS NOIRES TÊTE
PLATE 13 mm (BB).
ÉTAPE 5
Faire glisser les PIEDS (I et K) dans les crans des PLINTHES (H et R).
À l'aide d'un marteau, enfoncer un TOURILLON (T) à travers les trous dans les PIEDS (I et K).
Maintenant, faire tourner un PATIN RÉGLABLE (S) dans chaque TOURILLON.
ÉTAPE 4
Fixer la MOULURE DE DESSUS (J) au DESSUS (C). Serrer trois FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®.
Enfiler un GRAND MANCHON EN CAOUTCHOUC (P) sur la PLAQUE DE LIAISON (O). Le
MANCHON EN CAOUTCHOUC devrait être très près.
Ensuite, fixer la PLAQUE DE LIAISON (O) à la MOULURE DE DESSUS (J). Utiliser
une VIS NOIRE TÊTE LARGE 14 mm (Z).
ÉTAPE 3
Fixer le DESSOUS (D) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B). Utiliser quatre VIS NOIRES TÊTE
PLATE 48 mm (W).
ÉTAPE 2
REMARQUE : L'extrémité filetée de la FIXATION doit rester complètement insérée
dans le trou de la pièce attenante lorsque l'on bloque la FIXATION.
2. Bien serrer la FIXATION à l'aide d'un tournevis Phillips.
Fixer les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) au DESSUS (C). Serrer quatre FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®.
ÉTAPE 1
Assembler l'élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide pour éviter
d'endommager l'élément ou le sol.
Pour commencer l'assemblage,
REMARQUE : Ne pas serrer les FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK® à ce stade de l'assemblage.
ÉTAPE 6
Fixer les PLINTHES (H et R) au DESSOUS (D). Utiliser quatre VIS NOIRES TÊTE
MINCE 14 mm (AA) à travers les PIEDS et dans le DESSOUS.
REMARQUE : Pour soulever un coin de l'élément, faire tourner le PATIN RÉGLABLE
dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d'une montre. Pour baisser un coin, faire tourner le
PATIN RÉGLABLE dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre.
ÉTAPE 7
Attention: Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale avant d'avoir fixé
l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'eondrer.
Avec précaution, retourner l'élément sur ses chants avant. Déplier l'ARRIÈRE (E) et
le placer sur l'élément.
Veiller à avoir des marges égales le long des quatre chants de l'ARRIÈRE (E). Si besoin
est, enfoncer sur les coins opposés de l'élément pour s'assurer d'être « d'équerre ».
Fixer l'ARRIÈRE (E) à l'élément à l'aide des CLOUS (CC).
REMARQUE : Des lignes perforées ont été prévues pour accéder facilement à
l'ARRIÈRE. Découper avec précaution les trous nécessaires.
enfoncer quatre FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK® (L) dans les
gros trous des EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B). Répéter cette étape pour le DESSUS (C).

PASO 12
Coloque su unidad en su posición final contra una pared.
Se recomienda que utilice la MÉNSULA DE SEGURIDAD (N) para aumentar la estabilidad.
Utilice un TORNILLO NEGRO DE CABEZA GRANDE de 14 mm (Z) a través de la parte
superior de la unidad y un TORNILLO NEGRO DE CABEZA PERDIDA de 48 mm (W)
dentro de un montante de la pared.
Empuje los MANGUITOS DE GOMA (V) sobre las ESPIGAS DE METAL (U). Inserte las
ESPIGAS DE METAL dentro de los agujeros al nivel preferido de los EXTREMOS (A y B).
Coloque el ESTANTE AJUSTABLE (G) sobre las ESPIGAS DE METAL .
NOTA: Por favor lea las páginas finales del folleto de instrucciones para información
importante sobre la seguridad.
Esto completa el ensamblaje. Limpie con su pulimento para muebles preferido o un paño
húmedo. Seque con un paño.
PASO 11
OPCIONES DE APILADO
(Si no son unidades de apilado, vaya al paso 12)
IMPORTANTE: Las unidades que se apilan sobre otra unidad debe estar unidas entre
sí, como se indica en este paso. Estas unidades deben colocarse contra una pared
y la unidad superior debe fijarse a una pared. Usted puede necesitar la ayuda de
alguien para este paso.
Retire los FALDONES de la unidad superior.
Fije la unidad superior a la unidad inferior. Pase dos TORNILLOS PLATEADOS DE
CABEZA PERDIDA de 28 mm (X) a través de los agujeros en la parte inferior del
PANEL SUPERIOR (C) y en el FONDO (D).
NOTA: Los agujeros del PANEL SUPERIOR no son agujeros de paso. Aplique un poco más fuerza
cuando gire estos TORNILLOS.
PASO 10
Consulte el diagrama ampliado para identificar las piezas de las BISAGRAS.
Las PUERTAS pueden requerir de ajustes. Siga el texto abajo para hacer los ajustes
necesarios.
AJUSTE DE LA PUERTA:
Para ajustar las PUERTAS de un lado al otro (horizontalmente), afloje el tornillo de
montaje varias vueltas y gire el tornillo de ajuste hacia el interior o hacia el exterior.
Apriete el tornillo de montaje después de hacer los ajustes.
Para ajustar las PUERTAS hacia arriba o hacia abajo (vertical), afloje los dos tornillos de
ajuste. Mueva las PUERTAS hacia arriba o hacia abajo a la ubicación deseada. Apriete

Para ajustar las PUERTAS hacia atrás o hacia adelante (profundidad), afloje el tornillo
de montaje una vuelta y mueva las PUERTAS hacia el interior o hacia el exterior
según sea necesario. Apriete el tornillo de montaje después de hacer los ajustes.
PASO 9
Cuidadosamente ponga la unidad en posición vertical.
NOTA: Puede que tenga que aflojar los tornillos de montaje y ajuste para deslizar la
bisagra parcialmente fuera de la ranura antes de fijarla al EXTREMO. Vuelva a apretar
el tornillo antes de montar la BISAGRA al EXTREMO.
Fije una PUERTA (F) al EXTREMO IZQUIERDO (B). Utilice los tornillos provistos de
las BISAGRAS. Consulte el próximo paso para los ajustes.
Fije un TIRADOR (Q) a la PUERTA (F). Utilice dos TORNILLOS NEGROS PARA
METAL de 22 mm (Y).
Repita este paso para la otra puerta.
PASO 8
Fije dos BISAGRAS (M) a cada PUERTA (F). Utilice ocho TORNILLOS NEGROS DE CABEZA
PERDIDA de 13 mm (BB).
PASO 5
Deslice las PATAS (I y K) dentro de las muescas de los FALDONES (H y R).
Utilice un martillo para golpear una TUERCA (T) a través de los agujeros de las PATAS (I
y K). Ahora, gire un DESLIZAMIENTO AJUSTABLE (S) dentro de cada TUERCA.
PASO 4
Fije la MOLDURA DE PANEL SUPERIOR (J) al PANEL SUPERIOR (C). Apriete tres
SUJETADORES TWIST-LOCK®.
Deslice un MANGUITO DE GOMA GRANDE (P) sobre la PLACA DE CONEXIÓN (O).
El MANGUITO DE GOMA ajustará estrechamente.
A continuación, fije la PLACA DE CONEXIÓN (O) a la MOLDURA DE PANEL SUPERIOR (J).
Utilice un TORNILLO NEGRO DE CABEZA GRANDE de 14 mm (Z).
PASO 3
Fije el FONDO (D) a los EXTREMOS (A y B). Utilice cuatro TORNILLOS NEGROS DE CABEZA
PERDIDA de 48 mm (W).
PASO 2
NOTA: El extremo con cabilla del SUJETADOR debe quedarse completamente
insertado en el agujero de la parte adjunta cuando se enclava el SUJETADOR.
2. Apriete el SUJETADOR lo más apretado posible con un destornillador Phillips (cruz).
Fije los EXTREMOS (A y B) al PANEL SUPERIOR (C). Apriete cuatro
SUJETADORES TWIST-LOCK®.
PASO 1
Ensamble la unidad sobre un piso alfombrado o sobre el cartón
vacío para evitar rayar la unidad o el piso.
NOTA: No apriete los SUJETADORES TWIST-LOCK® por ahora.
PASO 6
Fije los FALDONES (H y R) al FONDO (D). Utilice cuatro TORNILLOS NEGROS DE CABEZA
DE DISCO de 14 mm (AA) a través las PATAS y dentro el FONDO.
NOTA: Para levantar una esquina de la unidad, gire el DESLIZAMIENTO AJUSTABLE hacia la
izquierda. Para bajar una esquina, gire el DESLIZAMIENTO AJUSTABLE hacia la derecha.
PASO 7
Precaución: No coloque la unidad en posición vertical hasta que se fije el
DORSO. La unidad podría caerse.
Cuidadosamente voltee la unidad para que repose sobre los bordes delanteros.
Desdoble el DORSO (E) y colóquelo sobre la unidad.
Los márgenes a lo largo de todos los bordes del DORSO (E)
deben estar uniformes. Empuje sobre las esquinas opuestas de la
unidad si es requerido para hacerla "cuadrada."
Fije el DORSO (E) a la unidad utilizando los CLAVOS (CC).
NOTA: Hay perforaciones provistas para el acceso a través del DORSO.
Cuidadosamente corte los agujeros necesarios.
Para comenzar el ensamblaje, empuje cuatro SUJETADORES
TWIST-LOCK® (L) dentro de los agujeros grandes de los
EXTREMOS (A y B). Repita este paso para el PANEL SUPERIOR (C).
