Layout
• Planthedesiredlayoutofthisfittingcarefully,
ensuringthecableswillreachthedistancebetween
thejunctionboxandthelightfitting.
• Avoidlocatinganycablesinpositionsthatwould
causeahazard.Positioncablesandoutdoorrated
junctionboxes(notsupplied)awayfromareas
wheretheymaybeatriskfrombeingcut,trappedor
damaged.
• Werecommendthatyouuse1.5mm2armoured
cable(dia.12mm)specificationcable(notsupplied)
whichisanoutdoorgrade,rubbersheathedcable.
Themainssupplycablemusthaveaminimumcross
sectionalareaof1.0mm²
• Cablesmustbeprotectedusingsuitableconduitor
plastictrunking.
Existingfittingsmustbecompletelyremovedbefore
installationofanewproduct.Before removing the
existing fitting, carefully note the position of each set
of wires.
• Usingthesuppliedallenkey,removethefront
stainlesssteelpanelbyunscrewingthetwoallen
screws.Thendisassemblethebricklight,removethe
diffuser&LEDassembly,andtheinnerfittingfrom
theouterframe.(SeeFig.1).
• Selectamountinglocationfortheproductand
prepareacutoutsizeof215x102.5x65mm.Pass
theincomingsupplycablethroughthecutout.
• Fitthe4springclipsintotheouterframebypushing
themintotheslots.Ensuretheyaresecurelyfitted.

Wiring
Thisproductisdoubleinsulatedandmustnotbe
earthed.Ifthereareanyincomingearthcables,they
mustbejoinedtogetherandwellinsulatedwithgood
qualityinsulationtape.Thisistoensureearthcontinuity
throughoutyourproperty.
Havingcorrectlyidentifiedthewiringfromyourexisting
lightfitting,connecttothequickfitconnectionblockin
thefollowingway:
