1.2 Conventional use
The compressor is designed for generating
and storing compressed air only. Com-
pressed air is only suitable for compressed
air tools/devices/machines.
Any other type of use is considered contrary
to the intended use.
The compressor must
not be used in poten-
tially explosive areas. Combustible, caustic
or toxic gases must not be sucked in!

An informal inspection book (collection of all
documents related to the vessel including in-
spection documents from the "approved test
centre") must be compiled for the vessel.
Register the vessel with an "approved test
centre", stating this data. The centre initiates
and certifies an installation check by an
authorised expert and specifies the inter-
vals for repeat inspections.
L It is essential to retain vessel documents
included in the delivery (= certification
documents) and inspection documents for
the entire service life of the vessel. The
statutory specified inspections must be
arranged in accordance with the applica-
ble regulations of the respective country
in which the vessel is used.

Le compresseur convient exclusivement pour
la production et l'accumulation d'air compri-
mé. L'air comprimé convient uniquement
pour les outils / appareils / machines à air
comprimé.
Toute autre utilisation est détournée de sa
destination première.
Le compresseur ne doit
pas être utilisé dans
des zones explosibles. Les gaz inflammables,
irritants ou toxiques ne doivent pas être
aspirés !

1.5 Contrôles de la cuve
Pour la cuve, il convient de constituer un
dossier de contrôle (recueil de tous les docu-
ments relatifs au réservoir, et notamment
des comptes-rendus délivrés par
l'« organisme de contrôle agréé »). Enre-
gistrer la cuve en indiquant ces données
auprès d'un « organisme de contrôle
agréé ». Cet organisme sera tenu de diligen-
ter un expert pour un contrôle initial
d'installation et déterminera lui-même l'in-
tervalle des contrôles périodiques.
L Les papiers joints à la cuve (documents
d'homologation) et certificats de contrôle
doivent être impérativement conservés
pendant toute la durée de vie de la cuve.
Les contrôles prescrits par la loi doivent
être organisés selon la législation en vi-
gueur dans le pays dans lequel la cuve est
utilisée.

1.2 Uso previsto
El compresor ha sido diseñado exclusiva-
mente para generar y almacenar aire com-
primido. El aire comprimido solamente es
apto para herramientas, aparatos o máqui-
nas neumáticas.
Cualquier otro uso se considera inadecuado.
El compresor
no se debe utilizar en entornos
potencialmente explosivos. En ningún caso
se deben aspirar gases inflamables, corrosi-
vos o tóxicos.

depósito
Para el depósito debe elaborarse un libro de
comprobación sin forma (recopilación de to-
dos los documentos pertenecientes al depó-
sito, incluidos los documentos de
comprobación del "centro de inspección au-
torizado"). Dar de alta el depósito en un
"centro de inspección autorizado" indicando
estos datos. Dicho centro encarga la com-
probación de modelo constructivo a un
experto y la certifica , además determina
los plazos para las siguientes comprobacio-
nes.
L Es obligatorio conservar la documenta-
ción relativa al depósito (= documentos
de homologación) y los certificados de en-
sayo los durante toda su vida útil. Las
comprobaciones obligatorias por ley se
deben organizar según las disposiciones
aplicables del país donde se utilice el de-
pósito.

bepalingen
De compressor is uitsluitend bestemd voor
de opwekking en opslag van perslucht. De
perslucht is alleen geschikt voor persluchtge-
reedschap/-apparatuur/-machines.
Ieder ander gebruik is oneigelijk.
De compressor mag niet in explosiegevaar-
lijke zones worden gebruikt. Brandbare, bij-
tende of giftige gassen mogen niet worden
aangezogen!

1.5 Keuringen van de tank
Voor de tank moet een informeel keurings-
boek (verzameling van alle documenten die
bij de tank horen, inclusief de keuringsdocu-
menten van de erkende "keuringsinstelling")
worden aangelegd. Tank met vermelding
van deze gegevens bij een „erkende keu-
ringsinstelling“ aanmelden . Deze regelt en
certificeert een opstellingskeuring door
een deskundige en legt de intervallen van
de terugkerende keuringen vast.
L Bij de tank meegeleverde documenten (=
toelatingsdocumenten) en keuringscerti-
ficaten gedurende de levensduur van de
tank beslist bewaren. De wettelijk voor-
geschreven keuringen dienen te worden
georganiseerd volgens de geldende voor-
schriften van het land waarin de tank
wordt gebruikt.

Kompressoren egner seg kun for lagring og
produksjon av trykkluft. Trykkluften egner
seg bare til bruk av trykkluftverktøy/-utstyr/
-maskiner.
All annen bruk er uhensiktsmessig bruk.
Kompressoren skal ikke brukes i eksplos-
jonsfarlige områder. Brennbare, etsende el-
ler giftige gasser skal ikke suges ut.

1.5 Kontroll av beholderen
For beholderen skal det legges ved en ufor-
mell kontrollbok (samling av all dokumentas-
jon om beholderen, inkludert
kontrolldokumenter fra „godkjent kontrollin-
stans“). Registrer beholderen med alle data
hos en „godkjent kontrollinstans“ . Kontrol-
linstansen får da utført og bekrefter en
oppstillingskontroll av en sakkyndig og
bestemmer dessuten frister for senere kon-
troller.
L Dokumentasjon for beholderen (typegod-
kjennelse) og kontrollattester skal oppbe-
vares gjennom hele beholderens levetid.
De lovpålagte kontrollene må organiseres
i samsvar med gjeldende forskrifter i det
landet der beholderen brukes.

Zbiornik należy zgłosić do upoważnionej
jednostki kontrolnej, podając jego
parametry. Jednostka ta zleca i poświadcza
kontrolęustawienia przez
rzeczoznawcę i wyznacza terminy
cyklicznych kontroli.

adatot,az illetékes hatóságnál be kell
jelenteni . A hatóság engedélyezi ill.
tanusítja a beüzemelés tényét szakértőn
keresztül és megállapítja az ismétlődő
ellenőrzések periódusát.
L A szállított tartálypapírokat (=
engedélyezési dokumentáció)
mindenképpen örizzük meg, míg a
tartályt üzemeltetik. A törvények által
előírt ellenőrzéseknél mindig annak az
országnak az előírásait kell betartani, ahol

«компетентном надзорном органе» . Он
назначит срок ивыдаст сертификат
испытаний после монтажа силами
специалиста иустановит сроки
регулярных испытаний.

хранить втечение всего срока службы

and being trained in use of the devices to
prevent harm to your health, property
damage, financial loss, environmental
harm or risk of accident.
• Repairs may be carried out only by
Schneider Druckluft GmbH or its approved
service partners.
• Observe the Instruction Manual for ves-
sels!
• Prohibited: Manipulations, use for pur-
posed other than those intended; tempo-
rary repairs; compressing other energy
sources; removing or damaging safety
equipment; use in case of leaks or mal-
functions; not using original spare parts;
exceeding the specified permitted final
compression pressure; working without
safety equipment; transporting the unit,
maintaining it, repairing it or leaving it un-
supervised while pressurised; using other/
incorrect lubricants; smoking; open flame;
removing stickers.
• Prohibited: Releasing compressed air via
the condensate drain valve; hanging the
unit on crane ropes; shutting down or
starting up without actuated locking
brakes of guide roll (item 38).
2.4 Commissioning
2.4.1 Transport
• Check the handle for secure fit.
• Vessel depressurised.
• In the vehicle: transport the compressor in
an upright position, secure and protect it.
2.4.2 Conditions at the installation lo-
cation
• Rooms: as dust-free as possible, dry, well
ventilated.
• Installation surface: flat, horizontal.
2.4.3 Before first use
1. Carry out a visual inspection.
2. Check the electrical connection.
3. Check the oil level (see Chap. 2.6.6).
L For units with attached oil dipstick, re-
place with sealing plug in unit and fill with
oil.
2.4.4 Electrical connection
• The mains voltage must match that speci-
fied on the rating plate.
• Electric protection according to technical
data.
L When using extension cords: cable cross-
section: min. 2.5 mm²; max. cable
length:10 m.
2.4.5 Checking/changing the rotation
direction
For three-phase compressors:
1. Check the rotation direction each time
the power plug is plugged in: switch on
the compressor, observe it and switch it
off again if the rotation direction is incor-
rect.
2. Unplug the power plug.
3. Three-phase plug with phase inverter:
press it in and rotate it by 180°. (Figure
2a)
Three-phase plug without phase invert-
er: reverse the phases in the plug.
Repeat step 1.
4. If direction of rotation has not changed:
contact service partner.
2.4.6 Filling the mist oiler
For compressors with mist oiler:
1. Depressurise the compressor/vessel.
2. Unplug the power plug.
3. Unscrew the oil tank from the mist oiler.
(Figure 3a)
Use suitable oil (Art. No. B770000)!
2.4.7 Adjusting the mist oiler
1. Carefully screw the regulating screw
closed using a screwdriver in a clockwise

X Grasp the plug and unplug it from the

2. During air extraction, oil deposits in the
form of droplets can be seen at the upper
sight glass. Dosing: 1 droplet oil at 300
– 600 l/min air consumption. Readjust If
necessary and check regularly.
2.5 Operation
L Do not overload the compressor: do not
exceed the max. number of switching cy-
cles and the ratio of operating time to
standstill!
2.5.1 Insert
Switch on the compressor at the ON/OFF
switch (item 10). The compressor starts up
and switches off automatically at maximum
pressure.
2.5.2 Adjusting the working pressure
1. Pull up the adjustment button on the (fil-
ter) pressure reducer (Figure 4a).
2. Rotate clockwise = pressure is in-
creased. Rotate anticlockwise = pressure
is reduced.
3. Read the set working pressure on the
pressure gauge (item 13).
4. Press the adjustment button down to
lock it in place.
2.5.3 After use
1. Switch off the compressor.
2. Disconnect the power supply.
3. Disconnect plug nipple of air hose from
(safety) quick-action coupling (Fig. 3a) .
4. Clean compressor (Chap. 2.6.2), depres-
surise it (Chap. 2.6.1), transport to stor-
age location (Chap. 2.4.1).
2.6 Maintenance
2.6.1 Before each maintenance task
1. Swtich on the compressor at the ON/OFF
switch (item 10). Disconnect the power
supply.
2. Depressurise the compressor: using the
blow gun, blow out all pressure from the
vessel.
L Only drain oil if the unit has been suffi-
ciently cooled.
2.6.2 Cleaning the compressor
• Clean the cooling fins on the cylinder, cyl-
inder head and aftercooler using com-
pressed air.
• Clean the fan impeller cover on the motor.
2.6.3 Clean FDM insert
1. Depressurise vessel of FDM.

2. Hold a suitable vessel under the conden-
sate drain. Drain condensate.
3. Disassemble vessel of FDM. Unscrew the
mounting screw of the filter insert by
screwing anticlockwise (Fig. 4a).
4. Remove the filter insert, clean in soapy
water (max. 50 °C).
5. Installation is in reverse order.
2.6.4 Draining condensate from FDM
Draining semi-automatically: Rotate the
condensate drain valve 1/4 turn anticlock-
wise. Under 1 bar: condensate drains. (Fig-
ure 4a)
Draining manually: Rotate the condensate
drain valve clockwise and push it up. Con-
densate drains.
2.6.5 Draining condensate from pres-
sure vessel
L Dispose of condensate in accordance with
local specifications!
Caution: Wear safety glasses!
1. Place a suitable vessel under the conden-
sate drain.
2. In order to drain condensate, the vessel
pressure must be 2 - 3 bar.
3. Open condensate drain valve (item 09).
4. Close condensate drain valve again fol-
lowing condensate drainage.
2.6.6 Checking the oil level
• The oil level must be between the top and
bottom marks (oil dipstick/oil inspection
glass) (Figure 7a).
• Correct if necessary.
L If oil is milky, it must be changed imme-
diately.
2.6.7 Changing/adding oil
1. Allow the compressor to warm up, switch
it off, disconnect the power supply.
2. Pull out the oil filler plug/oil dipstick
(item 03), hold the used oil container un-
der the oil filler plug (item 04), screw
open the oil drain screw, drain used oil
completely.
3. Screw the oil drain screw closed.
4. Add the prescribed quantity of oil.
5. Check the oil level, correct if necessary.
Insert the oil filler plug or oil dipstick.
6. Dispose of used oil according to applica-
ble regulations.

wrong oils are used.
Do not mix synthetic and mineral oil:
compressor damage is possible!
2.6.8 Check screw fittings
1. Check all screw connections for tight fit
and retighten if necessary.
2. Observe the tightening torques (tighten-
ing torques calculated according to VDI
2230).
2.6.9 Cleaning the intake filter
1. Unscrew the intake filter. (Fig. 5a)
2. Clean the filter insert using the blow gun,
exchange the filter insert if necessary.
3. Screw the intake filter back on.
L Do not purge the intake opening. No for-
eign objects may enter.
Never operate the compressor without an
intake filter.
2.6.10 Checking, adjusting the V-belt
tension
V-belt driven compressors:
1. Switch off the compressor. Disconnect
the power supply.
Checking V-belt tension:
Using a suitable blunt tool (spanner wrench),
press V-belt at top centrally and downwards
between V-belt discs. It may not give more
the width of the V-belt (Figure 8a).
Adjusting V-belt tension:
1. Remove outer belt guard grating.
2. Mark the position of the electric motor on
the base plate.
3. Unscrew the mounting screws of the mo-
tor (Figure 8b).
4. Move the motor towards the compressor
unit. Take off the V-belt.
5. Push the motor approx. 2 mm parallel
past the mark. Tighten the mounting
screws.
6. Fit the V-belt over the small V-belt disc
first, then stretch it over the large V-belt
disc.
7. Check the V-belt tension and repeat the
process if necessary.
8. Install outer belt guard grating.
