2. Software installation on control PC
Insert the SEADA Software CD into your control PC’s CD-ROM drive to begin the installation. Double
click the G4K management software in software folder to start the installation.
Click the drop down menu to choose the
language for the software.
The default language is English.
After choosing the language, click OK to
continue
Click I Agree to accept the License Agreement
Check and uncheck the items for installation.
And then click Next.
Choose the path for installation as you wish and
then click Install to start the installation process.
Note: The installation may take several minutes
to finish
Click Close to complete the installation

3. G4K management software
There are three main groups of tools in this software to help users design a creative video wall layout.
3.1. Device
Users are able to configure G4K devices and connect the devices to control PC in this section.
3.1.1. Connect through IP
The default IP address of G4K is 172.21.102.65. Users need to change the IP address of control
PC to the same IP group of G4K.
Open the ‘Ethernet Properties’ windows on Control PC
Highlight the TCP/IPv4 in Networking and click the Properties button to open the TCP/IPv4

Change the ‘Obtain an IP address automatically’ to ‘Use the following IP address to set up
a static IP address
IP address: any address between 172.21.102.1 and 172.21.102.255 except the
address which has been taken by the G4Ks
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 172.21.102.1

Once the control PC IP address having been set up, press the Connect button to connect
the G4K.
The Connect button changes to Disconnect button and the very last video wall layout used
in this device is shown in grid area indicating the connection has been set up successfully.
If a dialog window as below comes up, the connection was failed.
Please check if control PC IP address is correctly set up
Please check the network cable connection between PC and G4K.

3.1.2. Connect multiple G4K as daisy chain
Connecting multiple G4K in one system can only be done in IP connection mode. Since the
default IP address of each G4K is same, users need to change the IP addresses of these devices
to avoid conflict.
Users need to connect the G4K one by one using default IP address: 172.21.102.65 to set
up the connection between device and control PC.
Right click the Device Name and then choose Change Device IP Address to open the
‘Change Device IP Address’ dialog window.
Please give a unique IP address for each device in the same system.
e.g.
Device 1 172.21.102.65
Device 2 172.21.102.66
Device 3 172.21.102.67
Device 4 172.21.102.68

After the IP addresses have been set up, add the quantity of the G4Ks into Device Count
and press Apply button.
Give a name for each device
Type the unique IP address for each device
Set the Port to 1024 for all devices
Use a network switcher to connect all the G4Ks to the control PC
Press Connect button to connect all the G4Ks into one system
If a G4Ks daisy chain system needs to be set up, please go to ‘3.3.2 Daisy chain with
multiple G4K’ to set up each G4K

3.2. Output
In Output section, users are able to choose the resolution of each screen in video wall and set
up the creative video wall layout.
3.2.1. Choose the resolution of the screens
Users are able to choose the resolution of screens from the drop down menu in
Resolution. The default output resolution is 1920 x 1080@60.
Or users are able to create custom resolution if the resolution needed is not in the list.
By clicking ‘+’ in Resolution, a dialog window will be shown for users to customise the
resolution.
