Note di󹪜erences in potential
The load voltage supply and the signal voltage of the I/O module are electrically isolated.
• The connection of the load supply voltage and the signal voltage is only permissible when no compensating currents are
󹪞owing as a result of a di󹪜erence in potential.
• The connection of additional, external devices to terminals with the assignment 2M is not permissible. The additional load
may result in the destruction of the I/O module as well as further faults.

1The wire break diagnostics can only be enabled when the "Check for wire break" parameter is enabled.
2If you use simple encoder contacts, you need to connect a resistor in parallel to enable a wire break check to be performed
when the contacts are open. The resistor used depends on the nominal input voltage of the module.
3When time stamping with an accuracy of 1 ms is enabled, the input delay on all channels is switched o󹪜 and the pulse
stretching and hardware interrupt for positive/negative edge is disabled on all channels (not adjustable).
6.3 Parameter reassignment

Each con󹪝guration change resets the corresponding reaction. Changing the con󹪝guration of a
function does not a󹪜ect other functions.
