Remote Display – Optional
Each LME7 can be equippe with a remote isplay that provi es a itional status information
not shown by the integral LED isplay on the LME7. Either the remote isplay or the ACS410
software are require to change parameter settings on the LME7. See page 11 for mounting
information an panel cutout imensions.

This cable is require when using an AZL23 isplay to connect the AZL23 to the LME7 base unit.

A small NEMA 1 enclosure is available for use with any LME7… base unit. Three ½” con uit
knockouts are available on both the top an the bottom of the enclosure.

Mounting
LME7 Contro er
The LME7 must be mounte insi e an enclosure that will protect it from irt an moisture. The
unit shoul be mounte with three #8 screws (not provi e ). The panel, which the unit sits on,
shoul be rille an tappe to accommo ate these screws.
During the mounting process, consi eration shoul be given to the various plugs an wires that
must be attache to the LME7. Electrical connections are ma e via plugs that are locate in the
face of the unit with wires coming out to the top, left si e, an right si e of the unit. A space of
at least one inch is recommen e above, to the left, an to the right of the LME7. The
recommen e total space to leave for the LME7 is 8” x 6.75” x 3” because the overall
imensions of the LME7 are 7.09” x 4.72” x 2.07”.

AZL23 Disp ay
The AZL23 is esigne to be mounte in a rectangular cutout through the face / oor of an
electrical enclosure. It has one screw on the top an another on the bottom that engage small
plastic tabs which will swing out when the screw is tightene clockwise; the screw can be
loosene to retract the tab an increase clearance before tightening. The tab will pinch the
sheet metal of the enclosure oor between itself an the AZL23 gasket. This facilitates easy
removal an replacement of the AZL23 since it is esigne to be taken out of the enclosure face
an hel in the han s for setup an commissioning.
The AZL23 connects to the LME7 at terminal X56 with cable TDCCOMBO. The AZL23 has an
IP54 rating when mounte in an electrical enclosure.

• The LME7 is a safety evice. Un er no circumstances shoul the unit be mo ifie or
opene . SCC Inc. will not assume responsibility for amage resulting from unauthorize
mo ification of the unit.
• All activities (mounting, installation, service work, etc.) must be performe by qualifie
staff.
• Before performing any work in the connection area of the LME7, isconnect the unit
from the main supply (all-polar isconnection).
• Protection against electrical shock hazar on the LME7 an all other connecte
electrical components must be ensure through goo wiring an groun ing practices.
• Fall or shock can a versely affect the safety functions of an LME7. Such units must not
be put into operation, even if they o not exhibit any apparent amage.
• Con ensation an the entry of water into the unit must be avoi e .
