!Erwärmen Sie die Kompresse nur im Wasserbad oder
in der Mikrowelle. Erwärmen Sie die Kompresse nicht
im Backofen oder im Grill.
!Lassen Sie die Mikrowelle beim Erwärmen der Kom-
presse nicht unbeaufsichtigt. Überhitzung kann die
Kompresse zerstören und zu Hautverbrennungen füh-
ren. Bei Aufblähen der Kompresse den Erwärmungs-
vorgang sofort abbrechen. Anschließend nach Abküh-
lung die Kompresse auf Dichtigkeit prüfen und eine
kürzere Erwärmungsdauer wählen.
!Kneten Sie die Kompresse nach jedem Erwärmen gut
durch. So wird die Wärme im Gel gleichmäßig verteilt
und es entstehen keine Wärmenester (Verbrennungs-
gefahr!).
!Legen Sie die Kompresse nie direkt auf die Haut! Ver-
wenden Sie immer ein dünnes Baumwolltuch oder
einen Bezug, um Schädigungen der Haut (bspw. Erfrie-
rungen, Frostbeulen, Verbrennungen) zu vermeiden.
!Überprüfen Sie die Temperatur, indem Sie die Kom-
presse vorsichtig an die Innenseite des Handgelen-
kes/Unterarm halten.
!Nehmen Sie die Kompresse sofort ab, wenn Ihnen die
Kälte oder Wärme unangenehm sein sollte.
!Kinder oder Personen mit kognitiven Einschränkungen
sollen die Kompresse nur unter Aufsicht verwenden.
!Undichte, beschädigte oder entleerte Kompressen
dürfen nicht verwendet werden. Verbrennungsgefahr!
!Der Inhalt der Kompresse ist nicht zum Verzehr geeig-
net.
!Verwenden Sie nur vom Hersteller vorgesehenes Zu-
behör.
!Das Produkt ist kein Spielzeug und außerhalb der
Reichweite von Kindern aufzubewahren. Gestatten Sie
Kindern nicht, damit zu spielen.

• Lesen Sie nachstehende Gebrauchsanweisung auf-
merksam durch und beachten Sie die Sicherheits- und
Warnhinweise.
• Das SISSEL®PACK ist eine gelgefüllte Kalt/Warm-Kom-
presse zur gezielten, lokalen Kälte- oder Wärme-The-
rapie.
• Als Medizinprodukt wird es vorwiegend an medizini-
sche Fachkreise bzw. an professionelle Anwender ab-
gegeben. Professionelle Anwender sind Personen, die
auf Grund ihrer medizinischen oder vergleichbaren
Ausbildung über ausreichendes Wissen bezüglich der
mit dem System zu behandelnden Erkrankungen oder
deren Vermeidung verfügen.
• Das Produkt und das Zubehör sind nur entsprechend
der vorliegenden Gebrauchsanweisung oder nach An-
weisung entsprechend ausgebildeter Fachkräfte zu
verwenden.
• Die SISSEL®GmbH übernimmt keine Haftung für den
Gebrauch des Systems außerhalb der in dieser Ge-
brauchsanweisung beschriebenen Anwendungen.
• Die Gebrauchsanweisung ist sorgfältig und griffbereit
aufzubewahren sowie bei Weitergabe des Produkts
beizulegen.
• Schließlich sind die im jeweiligen Anwendungsland
gültigen regulatorischen Anforderungen an dieses
Produkt zu berücksichtigen.
Sicherheitshinweise
!Prüfen Sie vor jeder Anwendung die Unversehrtheit
des Produkts. Bei Beschädigungen ist die Funktion des
Produkts und die Sicherheit nicht mehr gewährleistet,
austretendes heißes Gel kann zu Hautverbrennungen
führen.

Anwendung der Kompresse soll der behandelte Bereich
20 Minuten lang unbedeckt bleiben.
Anwendung Wärme
Erwärmen Sie die Kompresse nur im Wasserbad oder in
der Mikrowelle.
Wasserbad: Bringen Sie genügend Wasser zum Kochen,
um die Kompresse damit komplett zu bedecken. Nehmen
Sie das Wasser von der Kochstelle und erwärmen Sie die
Kompresse für ca. 4 bis 6 Minuten im Wasserbad (max.
80°C). Nehmen Sie die Kompresse vorsichtig heraus und
kneten Sie sie gut durch, um die Wärme gleichmäßig
zu verteilen. Trocknen Sie die Kompresse ab.
Mikrowelle: Achten Sie unbedingt darauf, dass sich der
Teller mit der Kompresse in der Mikrowelle ungehindert
drehen kann und sich keine Essenreste in der Mikrowelle
befinden! Legen Sie die Kompresse flach in die Mikro-
welle und verteilen Sie das Gel gleichmäßig. Die tatsäch-
liche Leistung verschiedener Mikrowellen-Fabrikate ist
trotz gleicher Leistungsangaben unterschiedlich. Daher
empfehlen wir ein Herantasten an die optimale Aufwär m-
zeit. Hierfür können Sie sich an folgenden Angaben ori-
entieren:
300 Watt: max. 1 Minute, Wiederholung in
30 Sekunden-Schritten
600 Watt: max. 30 Sekunden, Wiederholung in
10 Sekunden-Schritten
800 Watt: max. 15 Sekunden, Wiederholung in
10 Sekunden-Schritten
Warnhinweis: Verletzungsgefahr! Die Wärme kann zu-
nächst ungleichmäßig verteilt sein. Es ist wichtig, die
Kompresse nach jedem Erwärmungsintervall gut durch-
zukneten, um die Temperatur im Gel gleichmäßig zu
verteilen.

Bestimmungsgemäße Anwendung
Das SISSEL®PACK ist eine Kalt/Warm-Kompresse für
eine medikamentenfreie, bedarfsgerechte, individuelle
Kälte- oder Wärmetherapie. Kälte- und Wärmeanwen-
dungen nutzen die Reaktionen der Haut, der Unterhaut,
der Muskulatur und tiefer Gewebeschichten auf den je-
weiligen Temperaturreiz. In der Wärmetherapie sind dies
durchblutungsfördernde und stoffwechselanregende
Effekte, in der Kältetherapie Wärmeentzug und Schmerz-
linderung. So ist die Kompresse eine ideale Möglichkeit,
Kälte und Wärme bei verschiedenen Gelegenheiten ge-
zielt therapeutisch einzusetzen.
Anwendung Kälte
Legen Sie die Kompresse für mindestens 2 Stunden in das
Gefrierfach oder die Tiefkühltruhe (ca. -15°C bis -18°C).
Trocknen Sie die Kompresse ggf. ab und stecken Sie diese
in den zugehörigen Bezug oder schlagen Sie die Kom-
presse in ein dünnes Baumwolltuch ein. Legen Sie die
Kompresse auf den betreffenden Bereich auf. Wenden
Sie die Kompresse nur so lange an, wie Sie es als an-
genehm empfinden – max. 20 Minuten. Vor erneuter

Alle im Zusammenhang mit dem Produkt aufgetrete-

Zubehör
Das Produkt darf ausschließlich mit dem dafür vorgese-
henen Zubehör verwendet werden.
Anwendung
1. Prüfen Sie die Verpackung und das Produkt bei Anlie-
ferung auf eventuelle Beschädigungen.
Warnhinweis: Verwenden Sie niemals ein beschä-
digtes Produkt.
2. Prüfen Sie das Produkt vor jeder Verwendung auf
Unversehrtheit und Verunreinigungen.
3. Legen Sie die Kompresse nie direkt auf die Haut,
verwenden Sie immer ein dünnes Baumwolltuch
oder den zugehörigen Bezug.
4. Wenden Sie die Kompresse bestimmungsgemäß an.
Pflege & Hygiene
• Das vorliegende Produkt ist für den wiederholten Ein-
satz geeignet. Im Allgemeinen sind die jeweils gültigen
nationalen regulatorischen Anforderungen zur hygie-
nischen Aufbereitung von Medizinprodukten zu be-
achten und eine fehlerfreie Funktion sicher zu stellen.
• Bei Verschmutzungen kann die Kompresse mit einem
weichen Tuch und lauwarmem Wasser abgewischt
werden.
•
Desinfektionsmittel, Scheuermittel, Glas- oder Allzweck-
reiniger können die Oberflächenmaterialien des Produkts
schädigen und dürfen daher nicht angewendet werden.
Indikation Wärme
Verspannungen, Muskelkater, Myogelosen/Hartspann,
Rückenschmerzen, Tendopathien, Muskel- und Sehnen-
verkürzungen, Hexenschuss/Lumbago, Menstruations-
beschwerden, Myalgien, Reizzustände des Magen-Darm-
traktes, Hypertonie (Bluthochdruck), allgemeine Nervo-
sität und Unruhe, Verkühlungen.
Indikation Kälte
Lokale Gewebereizzustände (Schwellungen, Prellungen),
Sportverletzungen, Schmerzlinderung, traumatische und
rheumatische Arthritis, Hämatome (Blutergüsse), Distor-
sionen (Verstauchungen), lokale Verbrühungen oder
Verbrennungen, Insektenstiche, Kopfschmerzen, Migräne,
Nasenbluten, Fieber, müde und schwere Beine.
Kontraindikation Wärme
Akute Entzündungen, akute Traumata (Unfälle, offene
Wunden), akute Gelenkentzündungen, Ödeme, fieber-
hafte Infekte, Dermatitis, tiefe Venenthrombose, peri-
phere arterielle Verschlusskrankheit, Hypotonie, Herz-
erkrankungen, Beeinträchtigungen des Hautgefühls (bspw.
Diabetiker, hitze-/kälteunempfindliche Personen, Kinder
unter 4 Jahren). Holen Sie im Zweifelsfall medizinischen
Rat ein.
Kontraindikation Kälte
Kälteunverträglichkeit und Kälteallergie, Raynaud-Syn-
drom, Durchblutungsstörungen, akute Traumata (Unfälle,
offene Wunden), periphere arterielle Verschlusskrank-
heit, tiefe Venenthrombose, Beeinträchtigungen des
Hautgefühls (bspw. Diabetiker, hitze-/kälteunempfindli-
che Personen, Kinder unter 4 Jahren). Holen Sie im
Zweifelsfall medizinischen Rat ein.
Regulatorische Anforderungen
Das vorliegende Produkt der SISSEL®GmbH erfüllt
folgende regulatorische Anforderungen:

• SISSEL®GmbH n‘accepte aucune responsabilité pour
l‘utilisation du produit en dehors des applications
décrites dans ce mode d‘emploi.
• Le mode d‘emploi doit être conservé soigneusement
et à portée de main et doit être joint en cas de trans-
mission du produit.
• Enfin, il faut tenir compte des exigences réglementaires
applicables à ce produit dans le pays d‘utilisation respectif.
Précautions
!Vérifiez l‘état du produit avant chaque utilisation. S‘il
est endommagé, le fonctionnement du produit et la
sécurité ne sont plus garantis. La fuite du contenu
chaud peut provoquer des brûlures de la peau.
!Chauffez le sachet au micro-ondes ou au bain-marie.
Ne pas chauffer le sachet dans un four ou un grill.
!Ne laissez pas le four ou le micro-ondes sans surveil-
lance lorsque vous chauffez le pack. La surchauffe
peut détruire le pack et entraîner des brûlures de la
peau. Suivez attentivement les instructions d‘utilisation
du fabricant du micro-ondes.
!Malaxez bien le pack après l‘avoir chauffé. Ainsi, la
chaleur est répartie uniformément dans le gel et
aucune poche de chaleur n‘est créée (risque de brûlure).
!Ne placez jamais le pack directement sur la peau. Uti-
lisez toujours un tissu fin en coton ou une couverture
pour éviter d‘endommager la peau (par exemple,
gelures, engelures, brûlures).
!Vérifiez la température en tenant doucement le pack
contre l‘intérieur du poignet.
!Retirez immédiatement la compresse si vous ne vous
sentez pas à l‘aise avec le froid ou la chaleur.
!Les enfants ou les personnes souffrant de troubles
cognitifs ne doivent utiliser les packs que sous sur-
veillance.
!Les packs qui fuient, sont endommagés ou dégonflés
ne doivent pas être utilisés. Risque de brûlures.
Entsorgung & Umwelt
• Produkt: Das Produkt und das mitgelieferte Zubehör
können dem Hausmüll (Restmüll) zugeführt werden.
• Verpackung: Die Verpackung und die Gebrauchsanwei-
sung können im Altpapier entsorgt werden.

Hinweis: Betreiber des vorliegenden Produkts, müssen
die am Anwendungsort jeweils gültigen regulatorischen

Jede Gewährleistung ist ausgeschlossen, wenn von der
SISSEL®GmbH gelieferte Ware ohne Zustimmung von
anderer Seite bearbeitet, behandelt oder verändert wurde
oder wenn die Gebrauchsanweisung nicht befolgt wurde.

le froid.
• En tant que dispositif médical, il est principalement
vendu à des professionnels de la santé ou à des utili-
sateurs professionnels. Les utilisateurs professionnels
sont des personnes qui, en raison de leur formation
médicale ou comparable, disposent de connaissances
suffisantes concernant les affections à traiter ou à
éviter avec le produit.
• Le produit et les accessoires ne doivent être utilisés
que conformément à ce mode d‘emploi ou selon les
instructions de spécialistes dûment formés.

Utilisation froide
Placez le pack au réfrigérateur ou au congélateur pen-
dant au moins 2 heures (-15°C - 18°C). Si nécessaire,
séchez le pack et mettez-le dans la housse corres-
pondante ou enveloppez le pack dans un tissu fin
en coton. Placez l‘emballage sur la zone concernée.
N‘appliquez la compresse que pendant la durée qui
vous semble la plus confortable – max. 20 minutes.
Avant d‘appliquer à nouveau le sachet, la zone traitée
doit rester découverte pendant 20 minutes.
Utilisation chaude
Chauffez le paquet au micro-ondes ou au bain-marie.
Bain d‘eau : Portez suffisamment d‘eau à ébullition
pour recouvrir complètement le pack. Retirez l‘eau de la
source de chaleur et immergez le sachet de gel dans
l‘eau chaude pendant 4 à 6 minutes (80°C maximum).
Retirez délicatement la compresse et pétrissez-la bien
pour répartir uniformément la chaleur. Séchez la com-
presse.
Micro-ondes : Assurez-vous que l‘assiette avec le pack
peut tourner librement dans le micro-ondes et qu‘il n‘y
a pas de résidus alimentaires dans le micro-ondes.
Placez le pack à plat dans le micro-ondes et répartissez
le gel de manière homogène. Les performances réelles
des différentes marques de micro-ondes varient malgré
des spécifications de puissance identiques. Nous vous
recommandons donc d‘essayer de trouver le temps de
chauffage optimal. Vous pouvez utiliser les informations
suivantes comme guide :
300 watts : max. 1 minute, si nécessaire, réchauffer par
intervalles de 30 secondes
600 watts : max. 30 secondes, si nécessaire, réchauffez
par intervalles de 10 secondes.
800 watts : max. 15 secondes, si nécessaire, réchauffez
par intervalles de 10 secondes.

Utilisation
Le SISSEL®PACK est un pack chaud/froid pour une thé-
rapie chaude ou froide individuelle, sans médicament,
basée sur les besoins. Les traitements par le chaud et le
froid utilisent les réactions de la peau, du sous-cutané,
de la musculature et des couches tissulaires profondes
au stimulus de température respectif. Dans le cas de la
thérapie par la chaleur, il s‘agit principalement d‘effets
favorisant la circulation sanguine et stimulant le méta-
bolisme, tandis que dans le cas de la thérapie par le
froid, il s‘agit d‘éliminer la chaleur et de soulager la
douleur. Ainsi, l‘oreiller à grains est un moyen idéal
d‘utiliser la chaleur et le froid de manière thérapeutique
ciblée en de nombreuses occasions.

Les exigences réglementaires suivantes sont satisfaites
par ce produit de SISSEL®GmbH :

Utilisation

Entretien
• Ce produit est adapté à un usage répété. En général,
les exigences réglementaires nationales applicables
au retraitement hygiénique des dispositifs médicaux
doivent être suivies pour garantir un fonctionnement
sans défaut.
• S‘il est sale, le pack peut être essuyé avec un chiffon
doux et de l‘eau tiède.
• Les désinfectants, les nettoyants abrasifs, les netto-
yants pour vitres ou les agents nettoyants tout usage
peuvent endommager les matériaux de surface du
produit et ne doivent pas être utilisés.

douleurs dorsales, tendopathies, raccourcissement des
muscles et des tendons, lumbago, crampes menstruelles,
myalgies, irritations du tractus gastro-intestinal, hyper-
tension (haute pression sanguine), nervosité générale
et agitation, rhumes.
Application de froid
Irritation locale des tissus (gonflement, contusions),
blessures sportives, soulagement de la douleur, arthrite
traumatique et rhumatoïde, hématomes (contusions),
entorses, brûlures, piqûres d‘insectes, maux de tête,
migraines, saignements de nez, fièvre, jambes fatiguées
et lourdes.
Contre indication à l‘application de chaud
Inflammation aiguë, traumatisme aigu (accidents, plaies
ouvertes), inflammation aiguë des articulations, œdème,
infections fébriles, dermatite, thrombose veineuse pro-
fonde, artériopathie oblitérante périphérique, hypotension,
maladie cardiaque, altération de la sensation cutanée
(par ex. diabétiques, personnes insensibles au chaud/
froid, enfants de moins de 4 ans). En cas de doute,
consulter un médecin.
Contre indication à l`application de froid
Intolérance et allergie au froid, syndrome de Raynaud,
troubles circulatoires, traumatismes aigus (accidents,
plaies ouvertes), artériopathie oblitérante périphérique,
thrombose veineuse profonde, troubles de la sensibilité
de la peau (par exemple diabétiques, personnes insen-
sibles au chaud/froid), enfants de moins de 4 ans. En
cas de doute, consulter un médecin.

Safety instructions
!Check the condition of the product before each use. If
damaged, the function of the product and safety are
no longer guaranteed. Leaking hot contents can cause
skin burns.
!Heat the pack in the microwave or in a water bath.
Do not heat the pack in an oven or grill.
!Do not leave the microwave or oven unattended
when heating the pack Overheating can destroy the
pack and lead to skin burns. Follow the microwave
manufacturer‘s or oven manufacturer‘s operating
instructions carefully.
!Knead the pack well after heating. This way the heat
is evenly distributed in the gel and no heat pockets
are created (danger of burning).
!Never place the pack directly on the skin. Always use
a thin cotton cloth or a cover to avoid damage to the
skin (e.g. frostbite, chilblains, burns).
!Check the temperature by gently holding the pack
against the inside of the wrist.
!Remove the pack immediately if you feel uncomfort-
able with the cold or heat.
!Children or people with cognitive impairments should
only use the grain pillows under supervision.
!Leaking, damaged or deflated packs must not be used.
Danger of burns.
!The contents of the pack are not suitable for consump-
tion.
!Only use accessories intended by the manufacturer.

General information
• Read the following instructions for use carefully
and observe the safety instructions and warnings.
• The SISSEL®PACK is a Hot/Cold pack filled with gel for
targeted, local heat or cold treatment.
• As a medical device, it is mainly sold to medical profes-
sionals or professional users. Professional users are per-
sons who, due to their medical or comparable training,
have sufficient knowledge regarding the conditions to
be treated or avoided with the product.
• The product and accessories may only be used in accor-
dance with these instructions for use or as instructed
by appropriately trained specialists.
• SISSEL®GmbH accepts no liability for the use of the
product outside the applications described in these
instructions for use.

Application heat
Heat the pack in the microwave or in a water bath.
Water bath: Bring enough water to a boil to completely
cover the pack. Remove the water from the heat source
and immerse the gel pack in the hot water for 4 to 6 mi-
nutes (max. 80°C). Carefully remove the pack and knead
it well to distribute the heat evenly. Dry the compress.
Microwave: Make sure that the plate with the pack can
rotate freely in the microwave and that there is no food
residue in the microwave. Place the pack flat in the

Risk of injury! The heat may be unevenly distributed at
first. It is important to knead the pack well after each hea-
ting cycle to distribute the temperature evenly in the gel.

Intended use
The SISSEL®PACK is a Hot/Cold pack for a drug-free,
needs-based, individual hot or cold therapy. Warming
and cooling treatments use the reactions of the skin,
the subcutis, the musculature and deep tissue layers to
the respective temperature stimulus. In heat therapy
these are primarily blood circulation-enhancing and
metabolism-stimulating effects, in cold therapy heat
withdrawal and pain relief. Thus, the grain pillow is an
ideal way to use heat and cold in a targeted thera-
peutic way on many different occasions.
Application cold
Place the pack in the refrigerator or freezer for at least
2 hours (-15°C – 18°C). If necessary, dry off the pack and
put it in the corresponding cover or wrap the pack in a
thin cotton cloth. Place the pack on the affected area.
Only apply the pack for as long as you find it comfortable

mas (bruises), sprains, scalds or burns, insect bites, head-

Uso previsto
El
SISSEL
®
Pack es una compresa de frío/calor para una
terapia individual de frío o calor sin medicación y en
función de las necesidades. Las aplicaciones de frío y
calor utilizan las reacciones de la piel, el subcutis, la
musculatura y las capas profundas del tejido al estímulo
respectivo de la temperatura . En la terapia de calor, es
un efecto que favorizan la circulación y estimulan el
metabolismo, mientras que en la terapia de frío, se trata
de reducir el calor y aliviar el dolor. Por lo tanto, la
compresa es una forma ideal de utilizar el frío y el
calor de forma terapéutica en varias ocasiones.
Aplicación en frío
Colocar la compresa en el congelador durante al menos
2 horas (aprox. -15°C a -18°C). Secar la compresa si es
necesario y meterla en la funda correspondiente o en-
vuelva la compresa en un paño fino de algodón. Colocar
la compresa en la zona afectada. Aplique la compresa
sólo durante el tiempo que le resulte cómodo, como
máximo 20 minutos. Antes de volver a aplicar la com-
presa, la zona tratada debe permanecer descubierta
durante 20 minutos.

Istruzioni precauzionali
!Controllare l‘integrità del prodotto prima di ogni utilizzo.

uniforme. Le prestazioni effettive delle diverse marche
di microonde variano nonostante le stesse specifiche di
potenza. Vi consigliamo quindi di cercare di trovare il
tempo di riscaldamento ottimale. Potete usare le segu-
enti informazioni come guida:

Uso previsto
Il SISSEL Pack è un impacco freddo/caldo per una tera-
pia del freddo o del calore individuale senza farmaci,
basata sul bisogno. Le applicazioni del freddo e del caldo
utilizzano le reazioni della pelle, del sottocute, della
muscolatura e degli strati profondi dei tessuti al rispettivo
stimolo di temperatura. Nella terapia del calore, questi
sono effetti di promozione della circolazione sanguigna
e di stimolazione del metabolismo, nella terapia del
freddo ritiro del calore e sollievo dal dolore. Così, l‘im-
pacco è un modo ideale per utilizzare il freddo e il caldo
in modo terapeutico mirato in varie occasioni.
Applicazione fredda
Mettere l‘impacco nel congelatore o nel surgelatore
(da -15°C a -18°C circa) per almeno 2 ore.Asciugare
l‘impacco se necessario e metterlo nella copertura cor-
rispondente o avvolgerlo in un panno di cotone sottile.
Posizionare l‘impacco sulla zona interessata. Applicare
l‘impacco solo per il tempo che si trova comodo –
massimo 20 minuti. Prima di applicare nuovamente
l‘impacco, la zona trattata deve rimanere scoperta per
20 minuti.
Applicazione calore
Riscaldare l‘impacco solo in un bagno d‘acqua o nel
microonde.
Bagno d‘acqua: portare ad ebollizione abbastanza acqua
da coprire completamente l‘impacco. Togliere l‘acqua
dal fuoco e riscaldare l‘impacco per circa 4-6 minuti a

!Leg de pack nooit rechtstreeks op de huid! Gebruik
altijd een dunne katoenen doek of een overtrek om

!Controleer de temperatuur door de pack voorzichtig
op de binnenkant van de pols/onderarm te houden.
!Verwijder de pack onmiddellijk als u zich ongemakke-
lijk voelt door de koude of warmte.
!Kinderen of mensen met cognitieve stoornissen mogen
de pack alleen onder toezicht gebruiken.

Algemene informatie
• Lees de onderstaande gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig
en neem de veiligheidsinstructies en waarschuwingen
in acht.
• De SISSEL®PACK is een met gel gevuld koud/warm
pack voor gerichte, lokale koude- of warmtetherapie.
• Als medisch hulpmiddel wordt het voornamelijk ver-
kocht in medische kringen en aan professionele ge-
bruikers. Professionele gebruikers zijn personen die op
grond van hun medische of vergelijkbare opleiding vol-
doende kennis hebben van de aandoeningen die met
het product moeten worden behandeld of hoe deze
kunnen worden voorkomen.
• Het product en de accessoires mogen uitsluitend
worden gebruikt in overeenstemming met deze
gebruiksaanwijzing of volgens de instructies van
daartoe opgeleid personeel.
• SISSEL®GmbH is niet aansprakelijk bij aanwending van
het product voor andere dan de in deze gebruiksaan-
wijzing beschreven toepassingen.
• De gebruiksaanwijzing moet zorgvuldig en binnen
handbereik worden bewaard; als het product wordt
doorgegeven moet ook de gebruiksaanwijzing worden
doorgegeven.
• Tot slot moet rekening worden gehouden met de in
het land van gebruik geldende wettelijke voorschriften
voor dit product.
Veiligheidsinstructies
!Controleer voor elk gebruik of het product intact is.
Bij beschadiging is de werking van het product en de
veiligheid niet meer gegarandeerd, ontsnappende
hete vulling kan leiden tot brandwonden op de huid.
!Verwarm de pack alleen in een waterbad of in de
magnetron. Verwarm de pack niet in de oven of grill.

Droog de pack af.
Magnetron: Let erop dat het bord ongehinderd in de
magnetron kan ronddraaien en dat er zich geen etens-
resten in de magnetron bevinden! Leg de pack plat in
de magnetron en zorg ervoor dat de gel gelijkmatig is
verdeeld. De werkelijke prestaties van verschillende
microgolfmerken zijn verschillend ondanks dezelfde
technische prestatiegegevens. Het is dus aangeraden
om zelf te testen wat de optimale opwarmtijd is. Hier-
voor kunt u zich baseren op de volgende gegevens:
300 Watt: max. 1 minuut, bijwarmen met intervallen
van 30 seconden
600 Watt: max. 30 seconden, bijwarmen met inter-
vallen van 10 seconden
800 Watt: max. 15 seconden, bijwarmen met inter-
vallen van 10 seconden
Waarschuwing! Gevaar voor verwondingen! Allereerst kan

dat het kussen na elke opwarming goed wordt gekneed
om de temperatuur in de vulling gelijkmatig te verdelen.

Indicatie warmte
Spanning, pijnlijke spieren, myogelosis/harde spanning,
rugpijn, tendopathieën, verkorte spieren en pezen, spit
/ lumbago, menstruatiekrampen, spierpijn, irritatie van
het maagdarmkanaal, hypertensie (hoge bloeddruk),
algemene nervositeit en rusteloosheid, verkoudheid.
Indicatie koude
Lokaal geprikkeld weefsel (zwellingen, kneuzingen),
sportblessures, pijnverlichting, traumatische en reuma-
toïde artritis, hematomen (bloeduitstortingen), distorsies
(verstuikingen), lokale brandwonden, insectenbeten,
hoofdpijn, migraine, bloedneus, koorts, vermoeide en
zware benen.

citroenzuur, kaliumsorbaat, natriumbenzoaat,

Beoogd gebruik
De SISSEL Pack is een warmte-/koude pack voor een
geneesmiddelvrije en gerichte, individuele warmte-
of koudetherapie. Warmte- en koude toepassingen
gebruiken de reacties van de huid, het onderhuidse
weefsel, de spieren en de diepe weefsellagen op de
respectievelijke temperatuurprikkel. Bij warmtetherapie
gaat het voornamelijk om effecten die de doorbloeding
bevorderen en de stofwisseling stimuleren; bij koude-
therapie wordt er warmte onttrokken en wordt de pijn
verzacht. Het pittenkussen is dus ideaal om warmte en
koude bij verschillende gelegenheden gericht thera-
peutisch in te zetten.
Koudetoepassing
Leg de pack minstens 2 uur in de koelkast of in het vries-
vak/de diepvriezer (-15°C – 18°C). Indien nodig, droog
de pack af en steek hem in bijhorende overtrek of wik-
kel hem in een dunne katoenen doek. Gebruik de pack
alleen zolang u het comfortabel vindt – max. 20 minuten .
Voordat u de pack opnieuw gebruikt, moet het behan-
delde gebied gedurende 20 minuten onbedekt blijven.
Warmtetoepassing
Verwarm de pack alleen in een waterbad of in de
magnetron.
Waterbad: breng voldoende water aan de kook om de
pack volledig te bedekken. Haal het water van de kook-
plaat en verwarm de pack ca. 4 tot 6 minuten in een
waterbad (max. 80°C). Verwijder de pack voorzichtig en

Onderhoud & hygiëne
• Dit product is geschikt voor herhaald gebruik. Over
het algemeen moeten de geldende nationale wet-
telijke vereisten voor de hygiënische verwerking van
medische hulpmiddelen in acht worden genomen en
moet een foutloze werking worden gegarandeerd.
• Als de pack vuil is, kan het worden afgeveegd met
een zachte doek en lauw water.
• Ontsmettingsmiddelen, schuurmiddelen, glas of alles-
reinigers kunnen de oppervlaktematerialen van het
product aantasten en mogen daarom niet worden
gebruikt.
Verwijdering & milieu
• Het product en de meegeleverde accessoires kunnen
met het huisvuil worden weggegooid.
• Er worden geen speciale verpakkingsmaterialen
gebruikt. Volg steeds de van toepassing zijnde ver-
wijderingsrichtlijnen.
Garantie
De garantie richt zich naar de wettelijke voorschriften.
Opmerking: Exploitanten van dit product moeten de
op de plaats van gebruik geldende wettelijke voor-
schriften voor medische hulpmiddelen in acht nemen.
De garantie vervalt als de door SISSEL®GmbH gelever-
de goederen zonder toestemming werden bewerkt,
behandeld of gewijzigd of als de gebruiksaanwijzing
niet werd opgevolgd.
Contra-indicatie warmte
Acute ontstekingen, acute trauma‘s (ongevallen, open
wonden), acute gewrichtsontstekingen, oedeem, infecties
met koorts, dermatitis, diepe veneuze trombose, perifere
arteriële vaatziekten, hypotonie, hartaandoeningen,
verminderde huidgevoeligheid (bv. bij diabetici, personen
die ongevoelig zijn voor hitte/kou, kinderen jonger dan
3 jaar). Raadpleeg bij twijfel een arts.
Contra-indicatie koude
Koude-intolerantie en koude-allergie, syndroom van
Raynaud, doorbloedingsstoornissen, acuut trauma (on-
gevallen, open wonden), perifere arteriële occlusieve
aandoeningen, diepe veneuze trombose, verminderde
huidsensatie (bv. diabetici, personen die ongevoelig
zijn voor warmte/koude, kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar).
Raadpleeg bij twijfel een arts.
Regelgevende vereisten
• Dit product van SISSEL®GmbH voldoet aan de volgende
regelgevende vereisten:

Alle ernstige incidenten die zich in verband met het
product voordoen, moeten onmiddellijk aan de fabri-
kant en de verantwoordelijke autoriteit worden gemeld.
Toebehoren
Het product mag uitsluitend met de daarvoor bestem-
de accessoires worden gebruikt.
Gebruik
1. Controleer de verpakking en het product bij levering
op eventuele beschadigingen. Gebruik nooit een
beschadigd product.
2. Controleer het product voor elk gebruik op beschadi-
ging en vuiligheid.
