• Dieses Gerät ist allein zum Kochen von Wasser und Aufbrühen von Tee gedacht.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur wie in dieser Anleitung beschrieben.
• Dieses Gerät ist für den Einsatz im Haushalt sowie für einen ähnlichen Gebrauch vorgesehen, wie
z.B.:
– Mitarbeiter-Küchen in Geschäften, Büros oder anderen Arbeitsumgebungen;
– Bauernhäusern;
– von Kunden in Hotels, Motels und anderen Ferienwohnungen / Residenz-Appartments;
– Frühstückspensionen.
• Dieses Gerät ist nur zur Verwendung innerhalb von Gebäuden gedacht.

Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie die Anweisungen in diesem Dokument
vollständig gelesen und verstanden haben, bevor Sie das Gerät installieren
oder verwenden. Bewahren Sie dieses Dokument zum späteren
Nachschlagen auf.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn ein Teil beschädigt ist oder es einen
Mangel aufweist. Ersetzen Sie ein beschädigtes oder defektes Gerät
unverzüglich oder kontaktieren Sie Solis oder eine von Solis autorisierte
Servicestelle.
• Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss es vom Hersteller, seinem
Kundendienst oder vergleichbaren, qualizierten Personen ersetzt werden,
um eine Gefährdung zu vermeiden.

• Füllen Sie nicht mehr als 1,7 Liter Wasser in das Gerät. Kochendes Wasser
kann sonst aus dem Gerät herausspritzen, wenn es zu voll ist.
• Hantieren Sie mit dem Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen.
• Entfernen Sie nicht den Deckel, während das Wasser im Gerät kocht.
• Seien Sie beim Önen des Deckels vorsichtig, es kann heisser Dampf
austreten.
• Bewegen Sie das komplette Gerät nicht, wenn:
–es heisses Wasser enthält. Bewegen Sie nur den Krug.
–das Wasser noch kocht.
• Seien Sie vorsichtig beim Bewegen des Kruges mit heissem Wasser.
Vermeiden Sie es, Wasser zu verschütten.
• Seien Sie vorsichtig beim Ausgiessen von heissem Wasser. Kippen Sie den
Krug nicht zu schnell.
• Vermeiden Sie ein Verschütten von Wasser auf den Gerätestecker.
• Seien Sie vorsichtig, wenn Sie den Krug kurz nach Gebrauch wieder
befüllen. Der Krug kann noch heiss sein. Kaltes Wasser könnte das Produkt
beschädigen.
• Berühren Sie nur den Gri, wenn der Krug nicht abgekühlt ist.
Sicherheitshinweise zur Wartung

• Schalten Sie das Gerät vor Reinigungsarbeiten aus und trennen Sie es von der
Stromversorgung. Die von Ihnen programmierten Zeiteinstellungen werden
dadurch jedoch gelöscht.
• Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, bevor Sie es reinigen.
• Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser und geben Sie es keinesfalls in eine
Geschirrspülmaschine.
• Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven chemischen Reinigungsmittel wie
Ammoniak, Säuren oder Aceton zur Reinigung des Geräts. Dies könnte das
Gerät beschädigen.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn die Oberäche eine Bruchstelle
aufweist.

• Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht herunterfallen und vermeiden Sie Stösse.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine stabile, ebene und feuchtigkeitsunempndliche
Oberäche.
• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur mit der mitgelieferten Basisstation.
• Platzieren Sie das Gerät nicht auf oder in der Nähe von heissen Gas- oder
elektronischen Kochfeldern oder in einem aufgeheizten Ofen.
• Prüfen Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme, ob die auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes
angegebene Spannung mit Ihrer Netzspannung übereinstimmt. Wir
empfehlen, das Gerät nicht mit einem Mehrfachstecker zu betreiben.
• Das Gerät nie mit einer externen Zeitschaltuhr oder Fernbedienung in Betrieb
nehmen.
• Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über Tischkanten hängen, damit das Gerät
nicht heruntergezogen werden kann. Achten Sie darauf, dass weder das
Kabel noch der Stecker mit heissen Oberächen wie z.B. einer Herdplatte
oder einem Heizkörper bzw. mit dem Gerät selbst in Kontakt kommen.
Sicherheitshinweise zur Verwendung

• Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherstellen zu können, dass sie
nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Trennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromquelle, bevor Sie sich Teilen nähern, die
sich bei Betrieb bewegen. Die von Ihnen programmierten Zeiteinstellungen
werden dadurch jedoch gelöscht.
• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht in leerem Zustand. Befüllen Sie den
Krug immer mit einer Wassermenge zwischen den Markierungen für
den Mindestfüllstand und den maximalen Füllstand. Schalten Sie das
Gerät nicht ein, wenn es leer ist oder der Krug nicht mindestens bis zur
Mindestfüllstandsmarkierung befüllt ist. Dies könnte das Gerät beschädigen.

VINSTALLATION
1. Entrollen Sie das Stromkabel q.
2. Stellen Sie die Basisstation 6auf eine ebene und feuchtigkeitsunempndliche Oberäche. Stellen
Sie sicher, dass das Stromkabel qdurch die Netzkabelaussparung 9geführt wird.
3. Stellen Sie den Krug 5auf die Basisstation 6.
4. Stecken Sie das Stromkabel qin eine Steckdose.
5. Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste, um das Gerät einzuschalten. Die Anzeige 7leuchtet auf.
VVOR DER INBETRIEBNAHME
Reinigen Sie das Gerät vor der ersten Verwendung:
1. Kochen Sie zweimal einen Krug voll Wasser (siehe Abschnitt Wasser kochen).
2. Schütten Sie gekochte Wasser weg.
VWASSER KOCHEN
1. Befüllen Sie den Krug 5mit 0,5 - 1,7 Liter Wasser.
2. Schliessen Sie den Deckel 1.
3. Stellen Sie den Krug 5auf die Basisstation 6.
4. Stellen Sie die gewünschte Wassertemperatur mithilfe der Temperatureinstellungstasten pein.
5. Lassen Sie die Ziehzeit tunverändert bei 00:00.
6. Drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste u, um mit dem Wasserkochen zu beginnen.
– Die Ein/Aus-Taste uleuchtet blau.
– Die Anzeige 7zeigt die aktuelle Wassertemperatur an.
7. Trennen Sie das Gerät nach der Verwendung von der Stromquelle. Die von Ihnen programmierten
Zeiteinstellungen werden dadurch jedoch gelöscht.
VTEE AUFBRÜHEN
1. Befüllen Sie das Teesieb 4mit Tee.
2. Befüllen Sie den Krug 5mit 0,5 - 1 Liter Wasser.
3. Schliessen Sie den Deckel 1.
4. Stellen Sie den Krug 5auf die Basisstation 6.
5. Drücken Sie mehrmals die Tee-Taste o, um die gewünschte Teesorte auszuwählen. Die
Teesortenanzeige ezeigt die ausgewählte Teesorte an.
6. Drücken Sie mehrmals die Anpassungstaste s, um die gewünschte Teestärke auszuwählen.
– Die Teestärkenanzeige yzeigt die ausgewählte Stärke an.
– Die Anzeige 7zeigt die entsprechende Ziehzeit und Temperatur an.
7. Drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste u, um mit dem Brühen des Tees zu beginnen.
– Die Ein/Aus-Taste uleuchtet blau.
– Die Anzeige 7zeigt die aktuelle Wassertemperatur an.
8. Trennen Sie das Gerät nach der Verwendung von der Stromquelle. Die von Ihnen programmierten
Zeiteinstellungen werden dadurch jedoch gelöscht.
9. Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch.
10. Der Kalklter mit Halterungsring 3kann mit Wasser und einer weichen Bürste resp. das
Teesieb 4mit Wasser, etwas Spülmittel und einem Lappen gereinigt werden.

• The appliance is exclusively intended to boil water and brew tea.
• Only use the appliance as described in this manual.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– sta kitchen areas in shops, oces and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
• This appliance is intended for indoor use only.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

• Children must be supervised to ensure that they not play with the appliance.
• Disconnect the appliance from the power source before approaching parts
that move in use.
• Do not use the appliance when it is empty. Always ll the kettle between the
minimum and maximum indicator. Do not switch on the appliance when it
is empty or the kettle is lled less than the minimum. This can damage the
appliance.
• Do not ll the appliance with more than 1.7 litres of water. Boiling water can
overow out of the appliance when the appliance is too full.
• Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not remove the lid while the water in the appliance is boiling.
• Be careful when opening the lid, hot steam may escape.
• Do not move the complete appliance when:
–it contains hot water. Only move the kettle.
–when the water is still boiling.
• Be careful when moving the kettle with hot water. Avoid spillage.
• Be careful when pouring out hot water. Do not tilt the kettle too fast.
• Avoid spillage on the power connector.
• Be careful when relling the kettle shortly after use. The kettle may still be
hot. Cold water could damage the product.
• When the kettle is not cooled down, only touch the handle.

• Switch o and disconnect the appliance from the power source before
service and when replacing parts. However, this will delete the time settings
you have programmed.
• This appliance is not calibrated for commercial or scientic use. Temperatures may uctuate,
however these are within the range for optimal boiling of water for all types of tea.
• Any use of the appliance other than described in this manual is regarded as misuse and may cause
injury, damage to the appliance and void warranty.

nor the power cord or plug comes into contact with hot surfaces, such as
hotplates or a radiator, or that they come into contact with the appliance

VBREWING TEA
1. Fill the tea infuser 4with tea.
2. Fill the kettle 5with 0.5 - 1 liter of water.
3. Close the lid 1.
4. Place the kettle 5onto the power base 6.
5. Press the tea button orepeatedly to select the desired tea type. The tea type indicator eshows
the selected tea type.
6. Press the custom button srepeatedly to select the desired tea strength.
– The tea strength indicator yshows the selected strength.
– The display 7shows the corresponding brewing time and temperature.
7. Press the power button uto start brewing tea.
– The power button ulights up blue.
– The display 7shows the current water temperature.
8. Disconnect the appliance from the power source after use. However this will delete the time settings
you have programmed.
9. Clean the appliance with a light damp cloth.
10. Clean the limescale lter with retaining ring 3with water and a soft brush. Rinse the
tea infuser 4with water and clean with a damp cloth.

VINSTALLATION
1. Uncoil the power cable q.
2. Place the power base 6on a at and moisture resistant surface. Make sure the power cable q
runs through the power cable recess 9.
3. Place the kettle 5onto the power base 6.
4. Plug the power cable qinto a power outlet.
5. Press any button to switch on the appliance. The display 7lights up.
VBEFORE FIRST USE
Clean the appliance before rst use:
1. Boil two full kettles of water (chapter boiling water).
2. Discard the boiled water.
VBOILING WATER
1. Fill the kettle 5with 0.5 - 1.7 liter of water.
2. Close the lid 1.

VINSTALLATION
1. Déroulez le câble d’alimentation q.

3. Posez la bouilloire 5sur la base d’alimentation 6.
4. Branchez le câble d’alimentation qdans une prise de courant.
5. Appuyez sur n’importe quel bouton pour mettre l’appareil sous tension. L’achage 7s’allume.
VAVANT LA PREMIERE MISE EN SERVICE
Nettoyez l’appareil avant la première utilisation :
1. Faites bouillir deux bouilloires pleines d’eau (chapitre Bouillir de l’eau).
2. Jetez l’eau bouillie.
VBOUILLIR DE L’EAU
1. Remplissez la bouilloire 5avec 0,5 - 1,7 litre d’eau potable.

– L’achage 7indique la température actuelle de l’eau.
7. Débranchez l’appareil de la source d’alimentation après l’utilisation. Cependant, cela eacera les
réglages d’heure que vous avez programmés.
VINFUSER DU THÉ
1. Remplissez l’infuseur à thé 4avec du thé.
2. Remplissez la bouilloire 5avec 0,5 - 1 litre d’eau potable.
3. Fermez le couvercle 1.
4. Posez la bouilloire 5sur la base d’alimentation 6.
5. Appuyez sur le bouton de thé oà plusieurs reprises pour sélectionner le type de thé souhaité.

7. Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation upour commencer à infuser du thé.

8. Débranchez l’appareil de la source d’alimentation après l’utilisation. Cependant, cela eacera les
réglages d’heure que vous avez programmés.
• Soyez prudent lorsque vous déplacez la bouilloire avec de l’eau chaude.
Évitez tout déversement.
• Soyez prudent lorsque vous versez de l’eau chaude. N’inclinez pas la
bouilloire trop rapidement.
• Évitez tout renversement sur le connecteur d’alimentation.
• Soyez prudent lorsque vous remplissez la bouilloire peu de temps après
l’utilisation. La bouilloire peut être encore chaude. L’eau froide pourrait
endommager le produit.
• Lorsque la bouilloire n’est pas refroidie, touchez uniquement la poignée.

VINSTALLAZIONE

2. Posizionare la base 6su una supercie piana e resistente all’umidità. Accertarsi che il
cavo di alimentazione qscorra bene nell’apposito vano 9.
3. Posizionare il bollitore 5sopra alla base 6.
4. Inserire il cavo di alimentazione qin una presa elettrica.
5. Premere un tasto qualsiasi per accendere l’apparecchio. Il display 7si illumina.
VPRIMA DELLA MESSA IN FUNZIONE
Pulire l’apparecchio prima del primo utilizzo:
1. Far bollire due bollitori pieni d’acqua (capitolo bollitura dell’acqua).
2. Eliminare l’acqua bollita.
VBOLLITURA DELL’ACQUA
1. Riempire il bollitore 5con 0,5 - 1.7 litri d’acqua.
2. Chiudere il coperchio 1.
3. Posizionare il bollitore 5sopra alla base 6.
4. Usare i tasti di impostazione della temperatura pper impostare la temperatura desiderata
dell’acqua.
5. Mantenere il tempo di preparazione t0:00.
6. Premere il pulsante di accensione uper iniziare a bollire l’acqua.
– Il pulsante di accensione udiventa blu.
– Il display 7mostra la temperatura attuale dell’acqua.
• Non utilizzare l’apparecchio se vuoto. Riempire sempre il bollitore tra il segno
del minimo e del massimo. Non accendere l’apparecchio quando è vuoto o
quando il bollitore è riempito sotto al livello minimo. L’apparecchio potrebbe
danneggiarsi.
• Non riempire l’apparecchio con più di 1.7 litri d’acqua. Se l’apparecchio è
troppo pieno, l’acqua in ebollizione potrebbe fuoriuscire.
• Non usare l’apparecchio con le mani bagnate.
• Non rimuovere il coperchio mentre l’acqua nell’apparecchio è in ebollizione.
• Prestare attenzione quando si apre il coperchio: potrebbe fuoriuscire vapore
bollente.
• Non spostare l’intero apparecchio se:
–contiene acqua bollente. Spostare solo il bollitore.
–l’acqua è ancora in ebollizione.
• Prestare attenzione quando si sposta il bollitore pieno di acqua bollente.
Evitare fuoriuscite.
• Prestare attenzione quando si versa l’acqua bollente. Non inclinare il bollitore
troppo velocemente.
• Evitare versamenti sul connettore di alimentazione.
• Prestare attenzione quando si riempie il bollitore subito dopo l’uso. Il bollitore
potrebbe essere ancora bollente. L’acqua fredda potrebbe danneggiare il
prodotto.
• Se il bollitore non si è rareddato, toccare solo l’impugnatura.

7. Haal na gebruik de stekker van het apparaat uit het stopcontact. Hierdoor gaan echter wel de door u
geprogrammeerde tijdinstellingen verloren.
VTHEEZETTEN
1. Doe thee in de theezeef 4.
2. Vul de waterkan 5met 0,5 - 1 liter water.
3. Sluit het deksel 1.
4. Plaats de waterkan 5op het basisstation 6.
5. Druk herhaaldelijk op de thee-knop oom de gewenste theesoort te selecteren. De
theesoorten indicatie egeeft de geselecteerde theesoort aan.
6. Druk herhaaldelijk op de persoonlijke-voorkeurknop som de gewenste theesterkte te
selecteren.
– De theesterkte-indicatie ygeeft de geselecteerde sterkte aan.
– Het display 7geeft de bijbehorende theetrektijd en -temperatuur aan.
7. Druk op de aan/uitknop uom het theezetten te starten.
