Installaon notes
Make sure that the program buon on the motor head is posioned in the instal-
laon brackets so it is easily accessible. Ideally on an open roll installaon, the
motor head buon should be facing downwards towards the oor so you can see
it. If it is in a cassee then Lafayee will already have the motor installed in the
cassee to make it easy for you to get to. You will be required to press/hold this
buon during the programming sequence or to reset the motor.

Programming (Follow steps 1—5)
[1] Inial setup
A) Connect your proper power source. If you are powering the motor via
a transformer or hardwiring, connect the wires according to your state and local
wires codes.
B) Your motor has been programmed with limits. You will need to pair your motor to your remote.
Please go to secon [6] Pairing.
[2] Pair motor to transmier (only aer full reset)
If you have a mul-channel remote, please select the
appropriate channel you are wanng this shade to be on. Then
press and hold the UP and DOWN buon for a jog then release.
Proceed to step [3] if you get a jog. If the shade does not jog
check your power. Try step [2] again. If you sll don’t get any
response please proceed to step [6].
[3] Checking motor direcon
Press the UP buon on your controller
a) If the shade goes up then proceed to step [4]
b1) if the shade starts to go down then press and hold
The MY buon unl the shade starts to jog.
b2) conrm direcon is correct
Proceed to step [4]

Programming (Connued)
[5] Finalize programming
Press and release the program buon on your transmier with a
small pped utensil and your shade should jog.

[4] Seng limits
1) Move the shade to your desired upper limit. You must hold a
direcon in order for your shade to move right now.
2) Press both MY and DOWN at the same me unl the shade
starts to lower then release both buons.
3) Stop the shade with the MY buon once your shade has
reached your desired lower limit (adjust as needed. The shade
will only move while you HOLD a direcon. Press the UP or
DOWN buon to adjust to your desired lower limit).
4) Press both MY and UP at the same me unl the shade starts
to raise then release both buons.
5) The shade will stop by itself at the top. Once the shade has
stopped hold the MY unl the shade starts to jog then release.
Pairing
[6] Pairing motor informaon to a transmier
a) Hold the white motor head buon for 1 jog then release.
b) Press and release the program buon on your transmier for a jog.
Test your limits and ensure limits are properly set. If you need to adjust
please go to step [7—8].
c) If the shade will only move when you hold a direcon proceed to step
[3]
*** There is no automac ALL channel. You must repeat this step every me you are adding the motor to an
addional channel ***

Erasing motor sengs
[9] Erase all motor sengs
*** Doing this will delete all motor limits and any remotes that
was programmed to this motor ***
Press and hold the white motor head buon for 3 connuous jogs.
You will now need to go to step [2].

Adjusng end limits
[7] Adjusng UPPER limit
1) Press and release UP. Let the shade go to its CURRENT upper
limit and stop.
2) Hold both UP and DOWN at the same me for a jog.
3) Adjust the shade with the UP or DOWN buon to your new limit.
The shade will only move when you HOLD a direcon.
4) Hold the MY buon for a jog.
[8] Adjusng LOWER limit
1) Press and release DOWN. Let the shade go to its CURRENT lower
limit.
2) Hold UP and DOWN at the same me for a jog.
3) Adjust the shade with the UP or DOWN buon to your new limit.
The shade will only move when you HOLD a direcon.
4) Hold the MY buon for a jog.

1) Move shade to your desired favorite posion
2) Hold the MY buon
To go to your favorite posion just press and release the MY buon

Troubleshoong Secon
What is happening Possible x
Motor does not respond Reverse the wiring on the motor.
Shade is skipping / clicking while it travels 1) The motor drive is not put into the tube correctly. Remove
the motor and ensure the drive is put in the correct orienta-
on
2) The shade is too ght in the brackets. Ensure you have a free
gap on the idler end.
3) You need a new crown/drive kit
Shade is making a vibrang sound You need to adjust/shim your installaon brackets for the shade
Shade squeaks while it travels Lubricate the idler end plug.
Shade will only move while I hold a direcon 1) If you were adjusng a limit from user mode, you just need
to conrm your new limits. Move the shade to where you
wanted the new limit and then press and HOLD the MY
buon for a jog
2) The motor is sll in programming mode. Please go back to
step [3] under Programming.
3) If none of those opons work, reset the motor and start
over. Go to step [9] Erasing Motor Sengs
Motor keeps loosing its limits This will happen if the motor was not nalized during the
programming process. Completely reset the motor. Go Erasing
Motor Sengs step [9].
