と製品の取り扱いかたを記しています。このマニュアルをよくお読みのう

重いモニターは 2人以上で開梱・運搬する
モニターは、見た目より重量があります。開梱・運搬は、けがや事故を防ぐ
ため、必ず2人以上で行ってください。1人で行うと、腰を痛めることがあ
ります。
転倒、移動防止の処置をする
モニターをラックに取り付け・取りはずしするときは、転倒・移動防止の処
置をしないと、倒れたり、動いたりして、けがの原因となることがあります。
安定した姿勢で注意深く作業してください。
また、ラックの設置状況、強度を充分にお確かめください。
不安定な場所に設置しない
ぐらついた台の上や傾いたところなどに設置すると、モニターが落ちたり、
倒れたりしてけがの原因となることがあります。また、設置・取付け場所の
強度を充分にお確かめください。
指定された接続ケーブルを使う
付属の、あるいは取扱説明書に記されている接続ケーブルを使わないと、感
電や故障の原因となることがあります。他の接続ケーブルを使用する場合
は、お買い上げ店またはソニーのサービス窓口にご相談ください。
組み立ての際には、モニターの電源を切って電源プラグを抜く
モニターの電源を接続したまま、本キットの組み立てを行うと、モニターと
本キットに電源コードをはさみ、感電の原因となることがあります。組み立
ての際にはモニターの電源を切り、電源プラグを抜いてください。
組み立ての際には、モニターのハンドルを持つ
モニターと本キットの組み立ての際にモニターの底面を持つと、モニターと
本キットの間に指や手を挟み、けがをすることがあります。組み立ての際は
必ずモニターのハンドルを持ってください。

1BKM-10R底面の足4本を外す。
2BKM-10R後面のDISPLAYUNIT
端子に付属の9ピンリモートケーブ ル
を接続し、コネクターのネジを締め
る。
3BKM-10Rの両側面にベースフレー
ム（左）（右）を取り付ける。
各ベースフレームは、ネジA（4×
12mm、金）2本を使って固定する。
4ベースフレーム（左）（右）にリアス
テーを乗せ、ネジ B（4 × 8mm、金）
2本とネジC（4×8mm、黒）2本を
使って固定する。

5ベースフレーム（左）（右）に、手順
1で外した足を2本ずつ、外したネジ
を使って取り付ける。
6ベースフレーム（左）（右）の前面
に、スペーサー（大）または（小）2
個を、ネジB（4×8mm、金）2本を
使って取り付ける。
スペーサーの金具の突起をベースフ
レームの穴にはめ込んでから、ネジ
Bで固定します。
◆ スペーサーの選択については、「ス
ペーサーについて」（5ページ）をご覧
ください。
7ケーブルクランプ 6 個をベースフレー
ムとリアステーに取り付け、9ピンリ
モートケーブルを固定する。

8リアステー上部の丸穴2個にモニ
ター底面の足をはめるようにして、モ
ニターを乗せる。
ご注意
モ ニターを載 せるときは、必 ず モ ニ
ターのハンドルを持ってください。
9ネジ B（4 × 8mm、金）4 本を使って
モニターとベースフレーム（左）（右）
を固定する。
10サイドカバー（左）（右）をネジ D（4
×8mm、銀）4本でベースフレーム
（左）（右）に取り付ける。
（サイドカバーは左右とも同じ形状です。）
11ケーブルのコネクターをモニター後
面のモニターコントロールユニット用
端子に接続し、コネクターのネジを締
める。

スペーサーについて
本機には2種類のスペーサーが付属しています。
スペーサーによって、モニターの正面デザインが変わります。

スペーサーの交換のしかた
いったんBKM-10Rとモニターを連結し
たあとでも、下記の手順で簡単にス
ペーサーを交換することができます。
1サイドカバーを外す。
2スペーサーを固定しているネジを外す。
3スペーサーを取り外す。
4新しいスペーサーを逆の手順で取り付ける。 1

Overview
The BKM-34H Monitor Control Unit Attachment Kit
is an assembly kit for joining a Sony BVM-D24E1W
series monitor to a BKM-10R Monitor Control Unit.

before beginning assembly.

1Remove the four feet from the
bottom of the BKM-10R.
2Connect one end of the
supplied 9-pin remote control
cable to the DISPLAY UNIT
connector at the rear of the
BKM-10R, and fasten the
screws of the cable connector.
3Attach the right and left base
frames to the sides of the
BKM-10R.
To attach each base frame, use
two screws A (4×12 mm,
gold).
4Place the rear stay on the right
and left base frames and
assemble them using two
screws B (4×8 mm, gold) and
two screws C (4×8 mm, black).

5Attach the feet removed in step
1to the two base frames using
the screws removed in step 1.
6Assemble the large or small
spacers to the front of the left
and right base frames, using
two screws B (4×8 mm, gold).
First align the projections on
the spacer’s plate with the
holes on the base frame, then
fasten screw B.
For the selection of the spacer,
see “Using the Spacers” on page
5.
7Attach the six cable clamps to
the base frame and the rear
stay, and extend the 9-pin
remote cable through the cable
clamps.

8Place the monitor on the rear
stay so that the two feet of the
monitor go into the two round
holes on the top of the rear
stay.
Note
When placing the monitor, be
sure to hold the handles of the
monitor.
9Assemble the right and left
base frames to the monitor
using four screws B (4×8 mm,
gold).
10Attach the right and left side
covers to the monitor using
four screws D (4×8 mm,
silver).
(The right and left side covers
are in the same shape.)
11Connect the cable to the
monitor control unit connector
at the rear of the monitor, and
fasten the screws of the cable
connector.

Using the Spacers
Two types of spacers are supplied with this unit.
The front design of the monitor varies according to the spacers in use.

Changing the spacers
After the monitor and the BKM-
10R have been assembled, you can
change the spacers easily as
follows:
1Remove the side covers.
2Remove the screws securing
the spacers.
3Remove the spacers.
4Attach new spacers in the
reversed order.
