Inbetriebnahme und Wartung
Operation and Maintenance
Vor Inbetriebnahme Ölstand prüfen und für störungsfreien Wasserzu-
lauf sorgen.
Ölf
üllmenge 3.0
l. Nur Getriebeöl ISO VG 220 GL4 (z.B. Aral Degol
BG220) oder KFZ
- Getriebeöl SAE 90 GL4 verwenden.
Erster Ölwechsel nach 50 Betriebsstunden; dann alle
1000 Betrieb
s-
stunden, spätestens jedoch nach
1 Jahr. Achtung bei Betrieb in feuc
h-
ten Räumen
bzw. bei hohen Temperaturschwankungen. Bei Konden
s-
wa
sserbildung im Getrieberaum (Aufschäumen des Öles) sofort Ö

wechsel durchführen.
Check oil level prior to starting and ensure trouble-free water supply.
Oil
quantiy: 3.0 litres. Only use ISO VG 220 GL4 (
e.g. Aral Degol
BG220) or SAE 90 GL4 gear oil.
Initial change after 50 operating hours

Caution when operating in damp places or with high temperature
fluctuations. Oil must be changed immediately should condensate
(frothy oil) occur in the gear box.
Sicherheitsvorschriften Safety Rules
Es ist ein Sicherheitsventil gemäß den “Richtlinien für Flüssigkeitsstrah-
ler” vorzusehen, das so eingestellt ist, dass der Betriebsdruck um nicht
me
hr als 10% überschritten werden kann.
Bei Nichteinhaltung dieser Vorschrift sowie bei Überschreiten der Tem-
peratur
- und Drehzahlgrenze erlischt jegliche Gewährleistung.
Beim Betrieb der Pumpe muss das freie Wellenende durch den Wel-
lenschutz (21), die anget
riebene Wellenseite und Kupplung durch ei
nen
bauseitigen Berührungsschutz abgedeckt sein.
Vor Wartungsarbeiten an Pumpe und Anlage muss sichergestellt wer-
den, dass Druckleitung und Pumpe drucklos sind! Saugleitung ver-
schließen.
Versehentliches Starten des
Antriebsmotors durch geeignete Ma
ß-
nahmen vermeiden (Sicherungen herausschrauben).Vor Inbetriebnah-
me Pumpe und druckseitige Anlagenteile drucklos entlüften. A
n
saugen
und Fördern von Luft oder Luft
-Wassergemisch sowie Kavitation unb
e-
dingt vermeiden.
Kavitati
on bzw. Kompression von Gasen führt zu unkontrollierb
a-
ren Druckstössen und kann Pumpen
-
und Anlagenteile zerstören
sowie Bedienungspersonal gefährden!
SPECK
-TRIPLEX-
Pumpen sind geeignet zur Förderung von sauberem
Wasser oder anderen nicht aggressiven oder abrassiven Medien mit
ähnlichem spezifischen Gewicht wie Wasser.
Werden andere Flüssigkeiten, insbesondere brennbare, explosive
und toxische Medien gefördert, so ist eine Rücksprache mit dem
Pumpenhersteller hinsichtlich der Materialbeständigkeiten unbe-
din
gt erforderlich. Die Einhaltung der entsprechenden Siche
r-
heitsvorschriften ist durch den Gerätehersteller bzw. durch den
Anwender sicherzustellen.
A safety valve is to be installed in accordance with the guidelines for
liquid spraying units so that the admissible operating pressure cannot
be exceeded by more than 10%.
Pump operation without a safety valve as well as any excess in
temperature or speed limits automatically voids the warranty.
When the pump is in operation, the exposed shaft end must be covered
by shaft protector (21) and the driven shaft side and coupling by a
protective cover.
Pressure in the discharge line and in the pump must be at zero before
any maintenance to the pump takes place. Close off suction line.
Take necessary precautions to ensure that the driving motor cannot get
switched on accidently (by disconnecting the fuses, for example).
Make sure that the pump and all parts on the pressure side of the unit
are vented and refilled, with pressure at zero, before starting the pump.
In ord
er to prevent air, or an air/water-
mixture being absorbed and to
prevent cavitation occurring, the pump positive suction head (npshr)
and water temperature must be respected.
Cavitation and/or compression of gases lead to uncontrollable
pressure
-kicks whic
h can ruin pump and unit parts and also be
dangerous to the operator or anyone standing nearby.
SPECK TRIPLEX Plunger Pumps are suitable for pumping clean water
and other non
-
aggressive or abrasive media with a specific weight
similar to water.
Before pump
ing other liquids -
especially inflammable, explosive and
toxic media
-
the pump manufacturer must be consulted with regard
to the resistance of the pump material. It is the responsibility of the
equipment manufacture and/or operator to ensure that all pertinent
safety regulations are adhered to.

Instandsetzung
Maintenance
1. Dichtungswechsel
1. Replacing Seals
8x Mutter (49A) lösen, Ventilgehäuse nach vorne abziehen. Dichtungs-
hülse (35) aus den Führungen im Antriebsgehäuse herausziehen.
Plungerrohr
(29B) demontieren.
Stopfen (12) herausschrauben und Öl ablassen
(Bild 1).
Anschließend die
Schrauben am
Getriebedeckel (4) und an einem Lagerdeckel (14)
lösen
und die beiden Deckel abnehmen (Bild 2 und 3).
Screw off the eight nuts (49A) and pull off the valve casing to the front.
Pull the seal sleeve (35) out of the guides in the crankcase.
Disassemble the plunger pipe (29B).
Screw out plug (12)
and drain oil (photo 1). Remove the screws on the
gear cover (4) and on one bearing cover (14) and take off the
covers
(photo 2, 3).

Den Radialwellendichtring im Lagerdeckel überprüfen. (Bild
4).
Bei verschlissenem Dichtring den Ring aus dem Lagerdeckel
mittels e
i-
nes Schraubendrehers vorsichtig heraus klopfen (Bild 4).
Check the radial shaft seal ring in the bearing cover (photo 4). If the
seal ring is worn, carefully tap it out of the bearing cover using a screw-
driver (photo 4).
Darauf achten, dass die Dichtfläche im Lagerdeckel nicht
beschädigt wird
(Bild 4 und 5).
Be careful not to damage the sealing surface in the
bearing cover (photo 4, 5).
Anschließend d
ie Aufnahme am Lagerdeckel mit etwas Loctite 403 ei
n-
streichen (Bild 5) und den neuen Dichtring in den Lagerdeckel einpres-
sen (Bild 6).
Lightly coat
the seal mounting surface in
the bearing cover with Loctite
403 (photo 5) and press the new seal ring onto the bearing cover (pho-
to 6).

Nun die Pleuelschrauben (24) lösen (Bild 7).
Remove the connecting (conrod) rod screws (24) (photo 7).
Pleuel sind gekennzeichnet. Halbschalen nicht verdrehen.
Pleuel beim Zusammenbau wieder in gleicher Position auf die
Wellenzapfen der Kurbelwelle montieren (Bild
8).

o not twist
conrod halves. The conr
ods are to be refitted onto the shaft journals
in
the
ir exact original position (photo 8).
Anschließend die vorderen Pleuelteile so weit wie möglich in die
Kreuzkopfführung vorschieben (Bild 9).
Push the front conrod parts as far as possible into the crosshead
guides (photo 9).

Die Kurbelwelle unter leichtem Drehen mit einem Kupferhammer nach
der Seite
heraus klopfen auf der der Lagerdeckel (14) - (Bild 3) demo
n-
tiert wurde (Bild 10 und 11).
Turning the crankshaft slightly, carefully hit this out towards the re-
moved bearing cover (14) using a copper
hammer (photo 10, 11).
Pleuelschäfte nicht verbiegen. Do not bend the conrod shanks.

Nun die Vorderen Pleuelhälften mit den Plungern aus den Führungen
im Antriebsgehäuse herausziehen und zu den entsprechenden Halb-
schalen legen (Bild
12).
Anschließend Laufflächen der Welle und der Pleuel, sowie Wellendicht-
ringe und Kegelrollenlager überprüfen (Bild 13).
Pull the front conrod halves with their plungers out of the crankcase
guides and match them with the
ir respective back halves (photo 12).
Examine the radial seal rings, taper roller bearings and the mounting
surfaces on the crankshaft and conrods (photo 13).

Pleuel sind gekennzeichnet. Halbschalen nicht verdrehen.
Pleuel beim Zusammenbau wieder in gleicher Position auf die
Wellenzapfen der Kurbelwelle
(22) montieren.

Jetzt das Antriebsgehäuse aufstellen und mittels eines Kunststoffsta-
bes ø
37 die Radialwellendichtringe (31) nach unten heraus
klopfen
(Bild 14).
Stand the crankcase up and using a dia. 37 plastic rod, tap the radial
shaft seal rings (31) out to the bottom (photo 14).

Beim Einbau die neuen Radialwellendichtringe (31) mit Loctite 403 ein-
strei
chen (Bild 15). Nun den Ring mittels eines
Einpressstempels
(Best.
-Nr. 15.1040)
in die Aufnahme im Antriebsgehäuse stecken (Bild
16) und mit einem Hammer einschlagen (Bild 17).
When refitting, lightly coat the new radial shaft seal rings (31) with Loc-
tite
403 (photo 15). Using an press in tool (Code No. 15.1040)
, place
the ring in the crankcase guide (photo 16) and
then
tap it in with a
hammer (photo 17).

Alternativ können die Radialwellendichtringe
(31) auch bei nicht ausg
e-
bauten Plungern
(25) demontiert werden.
Hierzu muß der Plunger am entsprechenden Dichtring
(31) auf die u
n-
terste Position gestellt werden
(Bild 18).
Anschließend wird mit einem kleinen Schraubendreher
,
von schräg
oben, ein Loch in die Dichtung geschlagen (Bild 19).
Alternatively, the
radial shaft seal rings (31) can also be removed wit

out disassembling
the plungers (25).
To do this, the plunger must be pos
itioned at its lowest point to
the seal
ring (31) (photo 18).
Holding
a small screwdriver at a tilted angle from above, a hole is hit i

to the seal (photo 19).
Hierbei ist unbedingt darauf zu a
chten, dass man mit dem
Schraubendreher nicht abrutscht und die Plungeroberfläche zerkratzt.
Pay very careful attention that the scr

slip, as otherwise the plunger surface can be scratched.
Nun
kann
der Radialwellendichtring (31) mit dem Schraubendreher
herausgehebelt werden (Bild 20).

Montagehülse
ø40.5 Innen / ø46.5 außen (Bild 22
) in die Aufnahme im
Antriebsgehäuse einschlagen (Bild 23).
When fitting, coat
the new radial shaft seals (3
1) with Loctite 403 (photo
15).
With its closed side on top, place the ring into the crankcase guide
(photo 21)
; then tap it in
using a fitting sleeve of inner dia. 40.5 and
outer dia. 46.5 (photo 22, 23).

Zum Einbau der Kurbelwelle zuerst die Schlupfhülse (Best.-Nr.
15.1000)
über das Wellen ende stecken (Bild 24). Dann die Kurbe
l-
welle an den Pleuel vorbei einfädeln
(Bild 25) und den Lagerauße
n-
ring am Gehäuse ansetzen (Bild 26).
When refitting the crankshaft, firstly place the mounting sleeve (Code
No. 15.1000)
onto
the shaft end (photo 24). Thread the crankshaft past
the con
rods (photo 25); then place the bearing outer ring in the cran
k-
case (photo 26).

Ohne Schlupfhülse darauf achten, dass die scharfen Kan
ten
der Passfedernut den Radialwellendichtring (15) nicht beschädigen.
If a mounting sleeve is not used, be careful that the sharp
edges of the key groove do not damage the radial shaft seal ring (15).
Den Lageraußenring mit einem Werkzeug in das Gehäuse einschlagen
(Bild 27). Anschließend die Schlupfhülse über das Wellen ende stecken
(Bild 28) und den Lagerdeckel montieren. Die Sechskantschrauben
(17) am Lagerdeckel (14) mit 12.5Nm anziehen (Bild 29).
Tap the bearing outer ring into the crankcase with a tool (photo 27).
Next place the mounting sleeve onto the shaft end (photo 28) and
mount the bearing cover. Tighten the hexagon nuts (17) on the bearing
cover (14) at 12.5 Nm (photo 29).

Nun die Pleuelhalbschalen montieren, Pleuelschrauben mit 30Nm an-
ziehen (Bild 30).
Mount the conrod halves and tighten the conrod screws at 30 Nm (pho-
to 30).
Pleuel sind gekennzeichnet. Halbschalen nicht verdrehen.
Pleuel beim Zusammenbau wieder in gleicher Position auf die
Wellenzapfen der Kurbelwelle (22) montieren.

Anschließend durch leichtes drehen und hin und herbewegen der Kur-
belwelle
feststellen wie viel Spiel die Kurbelwelle hat (Bild 31).
Das ax
iale Lagerspiel sollte min. 0.1mm bis max. 0.15mm betragen.
Establish how much play is present by lightly turning and gently
pushing the crankshaft from left to right
(photo 31).
The bearing clearance should be between min. 0.1 mm and max. 0.15
mm.
Welle soll nach Montage ohne spürbares axiales Spiel
leicht drehbar sein.
After assembly has been completed, the shaft shou
ld
turn easily with very little clearance.
Das Lagerspiel durch Beilegen von Passcheiben (20A) unter einen La-
gerdeckel einstellen (Bild 32).
Adjust the bearing clearance by placing shims (20A) under one of the
bearing covers (photo 32).

Nach dem Beilegen der Passcheiben den Lagerdeckel wieder montie-
ren.
Die Sechskantschrauben (17) am Lagerdeckel (14) mit 25Nm a
n-
ziehen (Bild 33).
Abschließend den Getriebedeckel (4) kpl. mit O
-
Ring (5) montieren
(Bild 34). Die Innensechskantschrauben (10) mit 12.5Nm anziehen.
After fitting shims, remount the bearing cover. Tighten the hexagon
screws
(17) on the bearing cover (14) at 25 Nm (photo 33).
Finally, fit the gear cover (4) together with the O
-
ring (5) (photo 34).
Tighten the hexagon socket screws (10) at 12.5 Nm.
