Connector B-H 1221

A. Open the front hood compartment and unsnap the plastic trim cover located
at the top of the compartment (figure A1). Next remove the pocket by lifting
up and away (figure 2).
B. Once the pocket has been removed, locate the two connectors
and slide to the left to remove from tab.
C. Using a 10mm socket wrench remove two bolts ( make sure to
not lose or drop factory spacers).
D. Slide factory component with in the MRB3 brain mounting bracket, and use
factory bolts to secure both component and bracket.
E. Final view of how the bracket will look when mounted.
F. Attach the black cable from the H1221 power harness to the
ground terminal of the battery.

G. Attach the red cable from the H 1221 power harness to the
positive tenninal of the battery.
I. Unscrew six (6) 125 torx screws located on top of the bike (this
will help with giving you more space to route harness H1149)
K. Lift top of panel and route speaker and MRB3 brain controler
cables alongside factory wiring (make sure to secure and keep
away from moving objects)
H. Use the provided screws to mount the MRB3 brain to mounting bracket with
the wires facing downward.
J. Mount the MRB3 controller to the dash kit us i ng provide screws.
L Slide the kit over the center of the handlebar mount assembly.
Push down on the kit until it snaps into place.

M1. Screw in the Set Screws in the in pod in
the following positions.
M2. Place spacer on pod.
N. Screw the factory screws back in place as shown above in yellow. Place pod in location for
mounting (shown above in pink) and use supplied LONG hex screws to secure to vehicle.
Then connect both speakers to the H 1150 speaker harness
02. Connect the speaker harness.
03. Connect the antenna.
M3. Place the mounting bracket on top of the
spacer. Line up the bracket and spacer screw
holes to the pod. Tighten and secure the
provided SHORT hex screws.

01. Connect the power/ground wire.

Q. Be sure to tuck all of the MRB3 brain connections off to the
side like in this picture before replacing the front pocket

P. Zip tie wires along the factory wires on the left hand side of the
vehicle.

beginning any installation.

Selecting FM/AM Band: Press MODE until the FM or AM band shows on the display.
Automatic Station Search: Press or to start automatic station search. The search
stops when a station is found.
Manual Station Search: Press and hold or until M - SEEK. Press the or
briey to change the frequency until the desired frequency is set. Change to Automatic
search (A - SEEK) mode after a station is found.
- Press MODE until AUX shows on the display.

1. Open the Bluetooth setup program on the mobile device and activate the Bluetooth feature
2. The device will show up as “SSV”. Select this device and enter passkey: OOOO
3. After successfully pairing, a Bluetooth logo will appear on the phone menu screen and
show “CONNECT” “BT MUSIC” on the device LCD display.
Stop Playback: Press briey to pause music. Press button again to continue playback.
Skip Track: Press or to play previous/next song.

Power On/Off: Press to power on. Press and hold to power off.
Volume: Press the VOL(+) or (-) button to increase or decrease the volume.
Mute On/Off: Press briey to mute the sound. Press again to un-mute the sound.
Mode Sources: Press the MODE button to switch between AUX, FM, AM, Bluetooth (BT MUSIC).
Mode Settings (Bass/Treble/Balance/Fader/EQ/Loudness): Press the MODE button for
2 seconds and then press the button until the function you want is shown on the display.
Press VOL(+) (-) to change the settings of the menu item displayed.
Bass (BAS)/Treble (TRE): Press the VOL(+) or (-) button to adjust Bass & Treble.
Balance (BAL): Press VOL(+) or (-) to adjust balance (sound distribution between the right and
left speakers).
Fader (FAD): Press VOL(+) or (-) to adjust sound distribution between the front and rear speakers.
Equalizer (EQ): Press VOL(+) or (-) to select one of the EQ options: OFF, FLAT, CLASS, POP,
ROCK, JAZZ, METAL. The equalizer will be disabled if EQ OFF is set. The equalizer setting is shown
at the bottom of the display.
Loudness (LOUD): Press VOL(+) or (-) (LOUD ON) or to disable the function (LOUD OFF). When
the loudness function is on, LOUD is shown on the right of the display.
