SUBWOOFER SPEAKER INSTALLATION
You will notice sixteen (16) total holes for the subwoofer speaker installation, but you will only
need to utilize eight (8) for the Installation of the subwoofer. Using the diagram to the left,
install a SSVWorks SSV-10M subwoofer using the PINK holes , or install a Kicker CompRT
subv.oofer using the BLUE holes. Speaker installation will use a total of eight (8) M4x20mm
saews. We do not reaimmend installing any other brand of subv.oofer unless the installation
holes line up perfectly.
After the subv.oofer has been properly installed, screw in eight (8) M4x5mm screws from the
back of the plate in the empty installation holes. The use of a thread locker is reaimmended
on all screws to prewnt loosening due to vibration.
The Installation Plate is not needed when installing a Kicker L7 subwoofer.

A. Install the mounted subwoofer to the · enclosure
using the eight (8) #7 screws in the holes
shown above.
B. Using a 4mm hex driver, remove (2) screws
on driver and passenger side behind the head
covers {lift passenger side pod front first and
remove.
C. Remove gas cap after the head covers screws
have been removed. Remove the large lock nut
that holds the gas tube, lift and remove panel
cover. {place the gas tube nut and cap on back
on)
D. Remove driver and passenger side panels that cover the roll bars. Use T40 torx screwdriver to remove the front and back screws and a T25 torx to
remove the screws underneath top of panel.
E. Remove screws that were located underneath the head covers once
the pods are removed
F. Remove pocket doors that cover both driver and passenger side.

G. Remove all T40 tone screws and (2) push clips that are located on back panel.

H. For 2017+ models, use the supplied six (6) HP-SSSB Thread Rolling
Washers on the left and right side to mount the enclosure.
J. Grab the top and bottom of the enclosure and slide the sub box into
place in the rear compartment
L Replace the factoryT40 torx screws to secure sub enclosure .

I. Make your connection for the signal tum on.
K. Once finished replace the rear panel
M. Attach the SSV Works logo plate using the T30 torx screws.

Route the speaker wire away from any moving parts and any sharp metal, then connect to the amplifier.
Connecting the SS-8S10 using the pre-installed, two-pin connector will require an optional SSV Works plug-&-
play harness (WP-H1151- sold separately). If you are not using the WP-H1151 harness, simply cut off the 4-pin
connector and follow the wiring instruction below.
Replace all factory panels.

Amplifier
For proper sound, ensure the speaker polarity is correct connect the"+" to the"+" and the •-•to the "-"from the speaker wire to the amplifier. If using
with an SSVWorks complete system refer to the amplifierwiring instructions for more detailed wiring information.
