1 Sicherheitshinweise
In diesem Kapitel sind die wichtigsten Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zusammengefasst. Es
ergänzt die entsprechenden Vorschriften, zu deren Studium das verantwortliche Personal
verpflichtet ist.
Bei Arbeiten in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen hängt die Sicherheit von Personen und
Anlagen von der Einhaltung aller relevanten Sicherheitsvorschriften ab. Das Montage- und
Wartungspersonal trägt deshalb eine besondere Verantwortung. Die Voraussetzung dafür
ist die genaue Kenntnis der geltenden Vorschriften und Bestimmungen.
Bei Errichtung und Betrieb ist Folgendes zu beachten:
•Es gelten die national gültigen Montage- und Errichtungsvorschriften (z.B. EN 60079-14)
•Die HART-Anschlussboards sind in Zone 2, Zone 22 oder außerhalb
explosionsgefährdeter Bereiche zu installieren.
•Bei Einsatz in Zone 2 sind die HART-Anschlussboards in ein Gehäuse einzubauen, das
den Anforderungen der EN 50 021 genügt.
•Bei Einsatz in Zone 22 sind die HART-Anschlussboards in ein Gehäuse einzubauen, das
den Anforderungen der EN 50 281 genügt.
•Für Zone 2 Anwendungen: Die Anschlüsse der Signalstromkreise sind zum Anschluss an
Stromkreise und Betriebsmittel niedriger Energie (EN 50 021 Kap.13) vorgesehen.
Anderenfalls sind externe Maßnahmen zu treffen, die ein Überschreiten der
Bemessungsspannung um mehr als 40 % verhindern.
Bei Anschluss an Geräte der Reihe IS pac ist diese Anforderung in der Regel erfüllt
(siehe jeweilige EG-Baumusterprüfbescheinigung)
•Die auswechselbaren Sicherungen der HART-Anschlussboards dürfen nur außerhalb der
Zone 2 oder im spannungslosen Zustand gewechselt werden.
•Die nationalen Sicherheits- und Unfallverhütungsvorschriften
•Die allgemein anerkannten Regeln der Technik
•Die Sicherheitshinweise dieser Betriebsanleitung
•Beschädigungen können den Explosionsschutz aufheben.
Verwenden Sie die Geräte bestimmungsgemäß, nur für den zugelassenen Einsatzzweck
(siehe „Funktion“).
Fehlerhafter oder unzulässiger Einsatz sowie das Nichtbeachten der Hinweise dieser
Betriebsanleitung schließen eine Gewährleistung unsererseits aus.
Umbauten und Veränderungen am Gerät sind nicht gestattet.
Die Geräte dürfen nur in unbeschädigtem, trockenem und sauberem Zustand eingebaut
und betrieben werden

Die HART-Anschlussboards Typ 9196 entsprechen den folgenden Normen bzw. der
folgenden Richtlinie:

Das HART-Anschlußboard 9196 dient zum Betrieb des HART-Multiplexers 9192 mit nicht-
eigensicheren HART-Stromkreisen.

5.2 Installation
Die HART-Anschlussboards sind für den Betrieb in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen der
Zone 2 bzw. Zone 22 zugelassen.
Die Geräte sind hierbei in ein Gehäuse einzubauen, das den Anforderungen der
EN 50 021 bzw. EN 50 281 genügt (z.B. in ein Gehäuse Typ 8146 der Fa. R.STAHL).

Das HART-Anschlussboard kann mit Messumformerspeisegeräten für 2-Leiter-
Messumformer eingesetzt werden. Der PLS-Eingang muss passiv für 1...5 V sein. Das
HART-Anschlussboard wandelt ein 4...20 mA Signal über einen 250 Ohm Widerstand in
ein 1...5 V Signal um.

Alle Eingangsleitungen Ch1…16 sind für DC-Signale entkoppelt über Kondensatoren. Bei
einer gemeinsamen Verbindung von Eingangsleitungen muss beachtet werden, dass nur
die “-“ Pole miteinander verbunden sein dürfen (z.B. gemeinsame Masse in der PLS-
Analog-Eingangskarte).

7 Betrieb- und Betriebszustände
Bevor Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen, stellen Sie sicher, dass
•das Gerät vorschriftsmäßig im korrekten Steckplatz installiert wurde
•das Gerät nicht beschädigt ist
•die Kabel ordnungsgemäß angeschlossen sind
8 Reparatur und Instandhaltung
Es wird empfohlen, Reparaturen an unseren Geräten ausschließlich durch uns durchführen
zu lassen. In Ausnahmefällen kann die Reparatur auch durch eine andere, zugelassene
Stelle erfolgen.
Die Geräte sind wartungsfrei.
Fehlersuchplan:

1 Safety instructions
The most important safety instructions are summarised in this chapter. It is intended to
supplement the relevant regulations which must be studied by the personnel responsible.
When working in hazardous areas, the safety of personnel and plant depends on
complying with all relevant safety regulations. Assembly and maintenance staff working on
installations therefore have a particular responsibility. The precondition for this is an
accurate knowledge of the applicable regulations and provisions.
When installing and operating the device, the following are to be observed:
•The national installation and assembly regulations (e.g. EN 60079-14) apply.
•The HART connection boards may be installed in Zone 2, Zone 22 or outside the
explosion hazard areas.
•In the case of operation in Zone 2, the HART connection boards must be fitted in an
enclosure which complies with the requirements of EN 50 021.
•In the case of operation in Zone 22, the HART connection boards must be fitted in an
enclosure which complies with the requirements of EN 50 281.
•For Zone 2 applications: the connectors of the signal circuits are designed for
connection to circuits and apparatus with low energy (EN 50 021 ch. 13). Otherwise
external measures have to be taken to avoid that the nominal voltage is exceeded
more than 40 %.
If connecting IS pac modules this requirement is fulfilled in most cases (see EC type
certification)
•The exchangeable fuses of the HART connection boards may only be replaced
outside Zone 2 or in powerless conditions.
•National safety and accident prevention regulations
•The generally recognised technical regulations
•The safety guidelines in these operating instructions
•Any damage can compromise and even neutralise the explosion protection.
Use the device in accordance with the regulations and for its intended purpose only (see
“Function”).
Incorrect or impermissible use or non-compliance with these instructions invalidates our
warranty provision.
No changes to the devices or components impairing their explosion protection are
permitted.
The device may only be fitted and used if it is in an undamaged, dry and clean state.

5.2 Installation
The HART connection boards are certified for the operation in hazardous areas Zone 2 or
Zone 22.
Here the boards have to be installed in a housing that fulfils the requirements of EN 50 020
or EN 50 281 (e.g. housing type 8146 of R. STAHL)
