instruction manual to prevent any damage. Put it away in a
safe place for future references.
IMPORTANT
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not try to open the equipment, may cause malfunction and
warranty repeal.
Repair and calibration of the product must be performed by au-
thorized personnel.

INSTALLING THE BATTERY
1.- Open the battery cover at the back of tester.
2.- Place a 9V battery paying attention to polarity.
3.- Replace the cover.
Make sure to replace the battery when a battery icon
displays in the screen.
OPERATION
1.- Selects the Lux Range using the Range switch.
2.- Hold the “Light Sensor” so that the sensor faces the light
source to be measured.
3.- The Display will indicate measured values.
4.- To “hold” a measurement, press Data Hold Button. The
reading will “freeze” in the display until the “Data Hold Button” is
released.
5.- Turn the device off after the use.
An Over Range indication is a display of “ 1 “. If this occurs,
switch to a higher range.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage agains defects in workman-
ship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the dat of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket,
product box or package, and product, must be presented when
warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was
received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accesories to costumer, as well
as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leajy
batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized
personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.

b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or pur-
chase ticket.

INSTALACIÓN DE BATERÍA
1.- Localice el compartimiento de batería y remueva la tapa.
2.- Inserte una batería de 9V poniendo atención a la polaridad.
3.- Vuelva a colocar la tapa del compartimiento.
Asegúrese de reemplazar la batería del equipo, cuando apa-
rezca un ícono de batería en la pantalla.
OPERACIÓN
1.- Seleccione el rango de Lux a utilizar a través del botón de
funciones.
2.- Sostenga el sensor de luz de tal forma que la luz que desea
medir se encuentre frente al sensor.
3.- La pantalla desplegará el valor de la medición.
4.- Para mantener un valor fijo en la pantalla, presione el botón
de HOLD en el sensor de luz, el valor de la última lectura se
“congelará” en pantalla, para volver al modo normal, presione
una vez más el botón de HOLD.
5.- Cuando termine la medición, apague el dispositivo.
Cuando aparece un 1 en la pantalla, significa que se ha ex-
cedido del rango elegido. Si esto sucede cambie al siguien-
te rango.

PÓLIZA DE GARANTÍA
Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes y
mano de obra, contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de
la fecha de entrega.
CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue
adquirido o en Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso
de estar defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación
serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a partir
de la recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse
efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios,
así como hacer válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones menciona-
das posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por
Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa
comercial donde adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el con-
sumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de garantía,
previa presentación de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.
