1. Bevor Sie mit dem Gerät arbeiten
•Lesen Sie sich bitte die Bedienungsanleitung genau durch.
So werden Sie mit Ihrem neuen Gerät vertraut, lernen alle Funk-
tionen und Bestandteile kennen, erfahren wichtige Details für die
Inbetriebnahme und den Umgang mit dem Gerät und erhalten
Tipps für den Störungsfall.

auch Beschädigungen des Gerätes und die Gefährdung Ihrer

5. Zu Ihrer Sicherheit
• Das Produkt ist ausschließlich für den oben beschriebenen Ein-
satzbereich geeignet. Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht anders,
als in dieser Anleitung dargestellt wird.
• Das eigenmächtige Reparieren, Umbauen oder Verändern des
Gerätes ist nicht gestattet.
Vorsicht!
Verletzungsgefahr:
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät und die Batterien außerhalb der Reich-
weite von Kindern auf.

• Batterien können bei Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein. Wurde
eine Batterie verschluckt, kann dies innerhalb von 2 Stunden zu
schweren inneren Verätzungen und zum Tode führen. Wenn Sie
vermuten, eine Batterie könnte verschluckt oder anderweitig in
den Körper gelangt sein, nehmen Sie sofort medizinische Hilfe
in Anspruch.
• Batterien nicht ins Feuer werfen, kurzschließen, auseinander
nehmen oder aufladen. Explosionsgefahr!
• Batterien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren. Um ein Aus-
laufen der Batterien zu vermeiden, sollten schwache Batterien
möglichst schnell ausgetauscht werden. Verwenden Sie nie
gleichzeitig alte und neue Batterien oder Batterien unterschiedli-
chen Typs.
• Beim Hantieren mit ausgelaufenen Batterien chemikalienbestän-
dige Schutzhandschuhe und Schutzbrille tragen!
Wichtige Hinweise zur Produktsicherheit!
• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, Vibratio-
nen und Erschütterungen aus.
• Vor Feuchtigkeit schützen.
• Nur für den Betrieb in Innenräumen geeignet.

7. Inbetriebnahme
• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach des Gerätes.
• Legen Sie zwei neue Batterien 1,5 V AAA polrichtig ein.
• Alle Segmente werden kurz angezeigt. Auf dem Display
erscheint die gemessene Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit.
• Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.
8. Bedienung
• Das Gerät verlässt automatisch den Einstellmodus, wenn länger
als 10 Sekunden keine Taste gedrückt wird.
8.1 Temperaturanzeige
• Drücken Sie die °C/°F / ▼Taste, um zwischen °F (Fahrenheit)
oder °C (Celsius) als Temperaturanzeige auszuwählen.

8.2 Taupunkt
• Im Normalmodus können Sie mit der DEW POINT Taste zwi-
schen Taupunkt (Anzeige DEW POINT) und normaler Tempera-
turanzeige umschalten.
• Der Zusammenhang von Temperatur und relativer Luftfeuchte
wird durch den Taupunkt ausgedrückt:
• Wird Luft kontinuierlich abgekühlt, steigt bei gleich bleibender
absoluter Luftfeuchtigkeit die relative Luftfeuchtigkeit bis auf
100% an. Kühlt die Luft weiter ab, so wird der überschüssige
Wasserdampf in Tröpfchenform ausgeschieden.
• Wenn das Messgerät eine Lufttemperatur von 20° C und eine rel.
Feuchte von 65% anzeigt, so beträgt die Taupunkttemperatur
13,2°C. Was bedeutet das? Die Luft - z. B. im Schlafzimmer,
muss an allen Stellen, die kühler als 13,2°C sind, kondensieren,
d.h. dass sich Wassertröpfchen auf der Wand oder Decke bilden
und es später zu Schimmel oder Stockflecken kommen kann.
• Hat die Luft nur einen Feuchtegehalt von z. B. 40%, so liegt ihr
Taupunkt bei 6 °C. Die Wände oder Decken müssen also wesent-
lich kälter sein, damit die Luft ihren Taupunkt erreicht und sich
Wassertröpfchen bilden.
8.3 Höchst- und Tiefstwerte
• Drücken Sie die MAX.MIN / ▲Taste.
• MAX erscheint auf dem Display.
• Es erscheinen die höchsten Messwerte seit der letzten Rückstel-
lung.
• Drücken Sie die MAX.MIN / ▲Taste noch einmal.
• MIN erscheint im Display.
• Die niedrigsten Messwerte seit der letzten Rückstellung werden
angezeigt.
• Um wieder die Anzeige mit den aktuellen Werten zu erhalten,
betätigen Sie nochmals die MAX.MIN / ▲Taste.

8.3.1 Rückstellung auf die aktuellen Werte
• Halten Sie die MAX.MIN / ▲Taste gedrückt, wenn die maxima-
len oder minimalen Werte angezeigt werden, um die Werte zu
löschen.
8.4 12-Stunden-Luftfeuchtigkeits-Anzeige und Komfortstufe
• Die Anzeige zeigt grafisch auf einer 12 Stunden-Zeitachse an,
welche Durchschnittswerte erreicht wurden und die entspre-
chende Komfortstufe des Raumklimas.
• Die relativen Luftfeuchtigkeitswerte werden in einem Raster von
20 bis 90 % dargestellt.
• Ab 65 %rF besteht Schimmelgefahr.
8.5 Alarmfunktion bei Schimmelgefahr
• Wenn die Luftfeuchtigkeit über 65 % steigt, erscheint
und ein rotes Warnlicht blinkt.
• Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste, um die Signalleuchte abzu-
schalten.
• bleibt auf dem Display stehen, bis die
gemessene Luftfeuchtigkeit unter der eingestellten Luftfeuchtig-
keit liegt.

Zum Ändern der Alarmgrenze von 65 % beachten Sie folgende
Schritte:
• Halten Sie die °C/°F / ▼Taste gedrückt, bis
und der Luftfeuchtigkeitswert blinken.
• Stellen Sie mit der ▼oder ▲Taste die gewünschte Alarmgrenze
(60, 65, 70 oder 75% rH) ein.
• Drücken und halten Sie die °C/°F / ▼Taste für 3 Sekunden, um
Ihre Eingabe zu bestätigen.
8.6 Luftfeuchtigkeitsalarm einstellen
• Halten Sie die DEW POINT / ALERT SET Taste gedrückt, bis
erscheint.
• Der Luftfeuchtigkeitswert und blinken.
• Stellen Sie in 5% Schritten mit der ▼oder ▲Taste die
gewünschte Obergrenze ein.
• Drücken Sie noch einmal die DEW POINT / ALERT SET Taste.
• Der Luftfeuchtigkeitswert und blinken.
• Stellen Sie in 5% Schritten mit der ▼oder ▲ Taste die
gewünschte Untergrenze ein.
• Bestätigen Sie mit der DEW POINT / ALERT SET Taste.
• Drücken Sie die ALERT ON OFF Taste im Normalmodus, um die
Alarmfunktion zu aktivieren.
• erscheint im Display.
• Im Alarmfall blinken und das entsprechende Symbol
und die rote LED Signalleuchte.
• Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste, um die Signalleuchte abzu-
schalten.
• und das Symbol blinken solange weiter, bis die gemes-
sene Luftfeuchtigkeit wieder innerhalb der Alarmgrenzen liegt.
• Beenden Sie den Alarm mit der ALERT ON OFF Taste.

9. Aufstellen und Befestigen des Gerätes
• Mit dem Ständer auf der Rückseite kann das Gerät aufgestellt (um
45° ausklappen) oder mit der Aufhängeöse auf der Rückseite an
der Wand befestigt werden.
10. Pflege und Wartung
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch.
Keine Scheuer- oder Lösungsmittel verwenden!
• Entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit
nicht verwenden.
• Bewahren Sie Ihr Gerät an einem trockenen Platz auf.
10.1 Batteriewechsel
• Sobald das Batteriesymbol erscheint, wechseln Sie bitte die Bat-
terien im Gerät.

3. Live healthier by controlling the temperature and humidity
• Checking indoor temperature and humidity can help to achieve a
comfortable and healthy living environment and may even save
you money on heating costs.
• Ideally, the indoor temperature should be between 18 °C - 22 °C
and the relative humidity between 40 - 60%.
• Excessive room-air humidity can damage your health and pro-
motes the formation of damp patches and mould.

• But excessively dry air can impair including our well-being and
health in various ways. Also for pets, plants, wooden floors,
antique furniture, musical instruments and books the right
humidity plays a role.

• This product is exclusively intended for the range of application
described above. The product should only be used as described
within these instructions.
• Unauthorized repairs, alterations or changes to the product are
prohibited.
Caution!
Risk of injury:
• Keep this instrument and the batteries out of reach of children.
• Batteries may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swal-
lowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within
two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed
or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.

• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken
apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be
changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leak-
ing. Never use a combination of old and new batteries together,
nor batteries of different types.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and safety glasses
when handling leaking batteries.

• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or
shocks.
• Protect it from moisture.

7. Getting started
• Open the battery compartment.
• Insert two new 1,5 V AAA batteries, polarity as illustrated.
• All segments will be displayed briefly. On the display appear the
measured temperature and humidity.
• Close the battery compartment again.
8. Operation
• The device will automatically quit the setting mode if no button
is pressed for 10 seconds.
8.1 Temperature display
• Press the °C/°F / ▼button to change between °C (Celsius) or °F
(Fahrenheit) as temperature unit.
8.2 Dew point
• To toggle the display between dew point and temperature press
the DEW POINT button in normal mode.
• The interdependency of temperature and relative humidity is
expressed by means of the dew-point:

• When air is cooled down continuously at a constant absolute
humidity, then the relative humidity will steadily increase up to a
maximum of 100%. If the air is cooled further, then the excess
water vapour is extracted from it in the form of water droplets.
• If the measuring unit indicates an air temperature of 20 °C and a
relative humidity of 65%, then the dew-point temperature will be
13.2 °C. This means that the air in a room will condense and
form water droplets on walls and ceilings in whichever spot that
is cooler than 13.2 °C, and that this may later lead to patches of
mould or damp.
• If the air is at a relative humidity of say 40%, then the dew-point
temperature is only 6 °C. The walls and ceilings would therefore
have to be significantly colder for the air to reach its dew-point
and for water droplets to from.
8.3 Maximum and minimum values
• Press the MAX.MIN / ▲ button.
• MAX appears on the display.
• The maximum values measured since the last reset appear on
the display.
• Press the MAX.MIN / ▲ button again.
• MIN appears on the display.
• The minimum values measured since the last reset appear on
the display.
• Press the MAX.MIN / ▲ button again, to go back to the display
of the present values.
8.3.1 Reset to the current values
• Press and hold the MAX.MIN / ▲ button when the maximum or
minimum values are displayed to reset the corresponding values.

8.4 Humidity display of the last 12 hours and comfort level
• The display shows graphically on a 12 hour timeline, which
averages were reached and the corresponding comfort level.
• The relative humidity values are shown in a grid of 20 to 90%.
• 65% RH is danger of mold.
8.5 Alarm function when danger of mold
• If the humidity rises above 65%, appears
and a red warning light flashes.
• Press any button to stop the signal light.
• stay on the display, until the measured
humidity is below the set value.
To change the alarm limit of 65%, please note the following
steps:
• Press and hold the °C/°F / ▼ button, until
and the humidity value flash.
• Press the ▼or ▲button to set the desired alarm limit (60, 65,
70 or 75% rH).
• Press and hold °C/°F / ▼button for 3 seconds to confirm the
setting.
8.6 Set humidity alarm
• Press and hold the DEW POINT / ALERT SET button, until
appears.

• The humidity value and flash.
• Press the ▼or ▲button to set the desired upper limit in steps
of 5 %.
• Press the DEW POINT / ALERT SET button again.
• The humidity value and flash.
• Press the ▼or ▲button to set the desired lower limit in steps
of 5 %.
• Confirm with the DEW POINT / ALERT SET button.
• Press the ALERT ON OFF button in normal mode to activate the
alert function.

• In case of an alert, and the corresponding symbol and
the red LED signal light will be flashing.
• Press any button to stop the signal light.
• and the symbol will continue flashing until the mea-
sured humidity is within the alarm limits.
• Press ALERT ON OFF button to stop the alarm.
9. Positioning and mounting of the device
•
The device can be placed onto any flat surface with its fold out
stand (45°) or wall mounted with the mounting hole, both found on
the back of the unit.
10. Care and maintenance
• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
scouring agents.
• Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for an
extended period of time.
• Keep the device in a dry place.

10.1 Battery replacement
• Change the batteries when the battery symbol appears on the
display.
11. Troubleshooting

12. Waste disposal
This product has been manufactured using high-grade materials
and components which can be recycled and reused.
Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable
batteries with ordinary household waste.
As a consumer, you are required by law to take them
to your retail store or to an appropriate collection site
depending on national or local regulations in order to
protect the environment.
The symbols for the contained heavy metals are:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead
This product is labelled in accordance with the EU
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive
(WEEE).
Please do not dispose of this product in ordinary house-

• Idéal pour le contrôle de la température et de l'humidité ambian-
tes et d'un climat intérieur sain, il économise également les

• Ne jetez jamais de piles dans le feu, ne les courtcircuitez pas, ne
les démontez pas et ne les rechargez pas. Risque d'explosion !
• Les piles contiennent des acides nocifs pour la santé. Une pile
faible doit être remplacée le plus rapidement possible afin d'évi-
ter toute fuite. N'utilisez jamais simultanément de piles ancien-
nes avec des piles neuves ou des piles de types différents.
• Pour manipuler des piles qui ont coulé, utilisez des gants de
protection chimique spécialement adaptés et portez des lunettes
de protection !

7. Mise en service
• Ouvrez le compartiment à piles de l’appareil.
• Insérez deux piles neuves de type 1,5 V AAA en respectant la
polarité +/-.
• Tous les segments s'allument brièvement. La température
mesurée et l'humidité sont affichées à l’écran.
• Refermez le compartiment à piles.
8. Utilisation
• L'appareil quitte automatiquement le mode de réglage si aucune
touche n’est pressée pendant 10 secondes.
8.1 Affichage de la température
• Appuyez sur la touche °C/°F / ▼pour passer de l’affichage de la
température en degrés Celsius (°C) à l’affichage en degrés Fah-
renheit (°F).

8.2 Point de rosée
• Appuyez sur la touche DEW POINT en mode normal pour chan-
ger l'affichage de point de rosée (DEW POINT) à la température.
• La relation entre la température et l'humidité relative est expri-
mée par le point de rosée :
• Si l'air se refroidit de manière continue l'humidité absolue
constante de même que l'humidité relative augmentent jusqu'à
un maximum de 100%. Si l'air continue à se refroidir, la vapeur
d'eau en excès sera éliminée sous forme de gouttelettes.
• Quand l'appareil de mesure indique une température de l'air de
20 °C et un taux d'humidité relative de 65%, la température du
point de rosée est de 13,2 °C. Qu'est-ce que cela signifie ? L'air
– par exemple dans la chambre à coucher, est obligé de se
condenser à tous les endroits où la température est inférieure à
13,2 °C, c'est-à-dire- que des gouttes d'eau se forment sur les
murs et au plafond et qu'elles peuvent ensuite créer de la moi-
sissure ou des taches d'humidité.
• Si l'air possède uniquement un taux d'humidité de par exemple
40%, son point de rosée est situé à 6 °C. Les murs ou les pla-
fonds devraient donc être beaucoup plus froid pour que l'air
atteigne son point de rosée et que des gouttes de condensation
se forment.
8.3 Valeurs maximales et minimales
• Appuyez sur la touche MAX.MIN / ▲.
• MAX apparaît sur l'écran.
• Les valeurs maximales mesurées depuis la dernière ré-initialisa-
tion apparaissent sur l'écran.
• Appuyez une nouvelle fois sur la touche MAX.MIN / ▲.
• MIN apparaît sur l'écran.
• Les valeurs minimales mesurées depuis la dernière ré-initialisa-
tion apparaissent sur l'écran.
• Appuyez une nouvelle fois sur la touche MAX.MIN / ▲, les

8.3.1 Réinitialisation aux valeurs actuelles
• Maintenez la touche MAX.MIN / ▲ appuyée pendant que l
es valeurs maximales ou minimales sont affichées afin de les
effacer.
8.4 Valeurs de l'humidité des 12 heures précédentes et niveau
de confort
• L'affichage montre au moyen d'un graphe sur un axe temporel
de 12 heures les valeurs des moyennes et le niveau de confort
correspondant.
• Les valeurs de l'humidité relative sont affichées dans une grille
de 20 à 90%.
• 65% RH représente un danger de moisissure.
8.5 Fonction d'alarme en cas de risque de moisissure
• Si le taux d'humidité dépasse 65%, apparait
et un avertissement rouge clignote.
• Appuyez sur une touche de votre choix pour arrêter l’avertisse-
ment.
• reste affiché sur l'écran jusqu'à ce que l'hu-
midité mesurée soit inférieure à l'humidité réglée.
Pour changer la limite d'alarme de 65%, procéder de la
manière suivante :

9. Mise en place ou fixation au mur
•
L’appareil peut être placé sur une surface plane à l'aide de son pied
dépliable (45°) au dos ou accroché au mur à l'aide de l'œillet de
suspension.
10. Entretien et maintenance
• Pour le nettoyage de votre appareil, utilisez un chiffon doux et
humide. N’utilisez pas de solvants ou d'agents abrasifs !
• Retirez les piles si vous n'utilisez pas votre appareil pendant une
durée prolongée.
• Conservez votre appareil dans un endroit sec.

3. Vivere in modo più sano controllando la temperatura e
l'umidità
• Attraverso il controllo della temperatura e dell’umidità interna è
possibile ottenere un ambiente dal clima sano e confortevole,

• Se ingerite, le batterie possono essere mortali. Se una batteria
venisse ingerita, potrebbe causare gravi ustioni e portare alla
morte nel giro di due ore. Se si sospetta che una batteria sia
stata ingerita o inserita nel corpo in altra maniera, consultare
immediatamente un medico.
• Non gettare le batterie nel fuoco, non polarizzarle in maniera
scorretta, non smontarle e non cercare di ricaricarle. Pericolo di
esplosione!
• Le batterie contengono acidi nocivi per la salute. Sostituite quan-
to prima le batterie quasi scariche, in modo da evitare che si sca-
richino completamente. Non utilizzate mai contemporaneamente

7. Messa in funzione
• Aprire il vano batteria.
• Inserire due batterie nuove tipo AAA da 1,5 V, rispettando le cor-
rette polarità.
• Tutti i segmenti appaiono brevemente. Sul display vengono visua-
lizzati la temperatura e l'umidità misurata.
• Richiudere il vano batteria.
8. Uso
• L'apparecchio esce automaticamente dalla modalità impostazio-
ne se non si preme alcun tasto per più di 10 secondi.
8.1 Visualizzazione della temperatura
• Premere il tasto °C/°F / ▼ per scegliere fra la visualizzazione
della temperatura in gradi °C (gradi Celsius) o °F (gradi Fahren-
heit).

8.2 Indicazione del punto di rugiada
• Premere il tasto DEW POINT per passare dalla visualizzazione
della temperatura a quella del punto di rugiada (indicazione
DEW POINT).
• La correlazione fra temperatura e umidità relativa viene espressa
dal punto di rugiada:
• Se l’aria viene raffreddata in modo continuo, al permanere
costante dell’umidità assoluta, l’umidità relativa aumenta fino al
100%. Se l’aria si raffredda ulteriormente, il vapore acqueo in
eccesso viene espulso sotto forma di gocce.
• Quando lo strumento di misura visualizza una temperatura del-
l’aria di 20 °C e una umidità relativa del 65%, la temperatura del
punto di rugiada è di 13,2 °C. Cosa significa tutto ciò? L’aria in
una stanza deve condensarsi in tutti i punti più freddi di 13,2 °C.
Ciò significa che sulla parete o sul soffitto si formano delle
gocce d’acqua e successivamente si possono formare muffa o
macchie di muffa.
• Se l’aria ha solo un contenuto di umidità ad es. del 40%, il punto
di rugiada si trova a 6 °C. Le pareti o i soffitti devono essere
molto più fredde per far sì che l’aria raggiunga il proprio punto
di rugiada e si formino gocce d’acqua.
8.3 Valori massimi e minimi
• Premere il tasto MAX.MIN / ▲.
• Sul display appare MAX.
• Sul display vengono visualizzati i valori di misurazione massimi
dopo l'ultimo azzeramento.
• Premere nuovamente il tasto MAX.MIN / ▲.
• Sul display appare MIN.
• Sul display vengono visualizzati i valori di misurazione minimi
dopo l'ultimo azzeramento.
• Per tornare alla visualizzazione dei valori attuali, premere ancora
una volta il tasto MAX.MIN / ▲.

8.3.1 Aggiornamento dei valori attuali
• Tenendo premuto il tasto MAX.MIN / ▲ durante la visualizza-
zione dei valori massimi e minimi per riportare la visualizzazione
ai valori attuali.
8.4 Diagramma dell'umidità delle ultime 12 ore e livello di
comfort
• Il display mostra graficamente su una linea temporale di 12 ore,
i valori medi e il livello di comfort corrispondente.
• I valori di umidità relativa sono mostrati in una griglia dal 20
all'90%.
• Dal 65% di umidità relativa è presente un pericolo di muffa.
8.5 Funzione di allarme in caso di rischio di muffa
• Quando l'umidità supera il 65%, appare sul
display e una spia rossa lampeggia.
• Per spegnere la spia rossa, premere un tasto qualunque.
• resta visualizzato sul display fino a quando
l'umidità scende sotto l'umidità impostata.
Per cambiare il limite dell'allarme di 65%, osservare le
seguenti operazioni:
• Tenere premuto il tasto °C/°F / ▼fino a quando
e l'umidità lampeggiano.
