· 1 handset spiral cable
· 2 network connecting cables

with attached microphone. The IP Phone is ready for connection.
Connecting
Your IP Phone is designed as a terminal device for connection to an Ethernet IP

cables. To do so, first turn the phone upside down:

· The icon on the bottom line of the display flashes when the phone is
powered up. This indicates that it has still been possible to connect to a
Gatekeeper in the network. As soon as a connection to the Gatekeeper has been
made the icon is permanently displayed. If your IP Phone is configured to
operate without RAS protocol, no icon appears here. If the phone has access to
a time server, it shows the date and time on the bottom line of the display.

Various number types
Your IP Phone can dial not only normal phone numbers, but also H.323 names and
IP addresses.
If a call number includes any other characters apart from the digits 0 to 9 or the
characters * and #, it is interpreted as a H.323 name. If the number begins with "@"
it is always interpreted as a H.323 name, but the @ is removed prior to dialling.
In some cases you can also dial an IP address directly. To do so, press the @
followed by the IP address, using the *key as the decimal point. You can suffix an
extension number separated by a "#" as necessary.
