INSTALL WATER RESERVOIR
Before using the dispenser: Remove water reservoir from
inside of machine.
1. Remove brush from assembly and wash with soap
and water. Rinse thoroughly and insert back into
water reservoir. (See Figure 1)
2. With the feed lever straight up, take the reservoir in
your left hand and insert the pivot shaft into the slots
on the sides of the dispenser. Move shaft up to the
top of the slots. (See Figure 2)
3. Slide reservoir down so bottom fits over tab on
dispenser. (See Figure 3)
INSTALL WATER BOTTLE HOLDER
1. Remove plastic brackets from inside unit.
2. Install longer bracket in front slots. Insert in top slot
first and snap into place.
3. Repeat with shorter bracket in rear slot.
FILL WATER BOTTLE
1. Remove bottle from brackets and turn over so filler
opening faces up. (See Figure 4)
2. Press in ball bearing and fill bottle with clean water.
Turn bottle over and place filler opening over
desired water level peg in the water reservoir.

This tape dispenser is for use with gummed tape ONLY.
Uline accepts no responsibility for damage due to
improper use.
IF USING OPTIONAL TOP HEATER
WARNING! Burn Danger – Unplug the top heater
and allow it to cool down before performing
any cleaning, maintenance or repair.
Keep the machine clean, dry and in good operating
condition. DO NOT place or operate machine in damp
or humid environments.

3. Adjust reservoir level: To maintain the optimum
moisture level for the type of tape you are using,
place the water bottle filler opening over one of the
three water level pegs in the water reservoir.
(See Figure 5)
INSTALL UPPER PLATE GUIDE
With top cover open, slide the upper paper guide under
the white wheel.
NOTE: Flange should face up and toward tape
compartment. (See Figure 6)
INSTALL WEIGHT AND COVER PLATE
1. Attach weight to cover plate with locking nut. Slide
weight back for lighter paper tapes (60/70 grade).
Slide weight forward for heavier paper tapes
(70+ grade). (See Figure 7)
2. Take the cover plate/weight assembly and slide the
notches over the pivot shaft on the water reservoir.
(See Figure 8)

1. Adjust roll guide plates to fit tape width.

2. Reposition the roller for gummed in or gummed
out tapes.
3. Insert tape roll between guide plates and over roller
so tape is positioned gummed side down. Feed the
tape under the upper paper guide and white wheel.
(See Figures 10A & 10B)

CAUTION: Only trained personnel should be
allowed to operate or service this machine.
WEEKLY MAINTENANCE
Wash the moistening brush with soap and warm water.
Rinse thoroughly with water.
MONTHLY MAINTENANCE
1. Lubricate the cutting blades with a drop of oil.
2. Wash the rubber wheel with water. Do not grease or
oil the wheel. Access the wheel by removing the
upper paper guide.
3. Clean the water reservoir with soap and water.
Rinse thoroughly.
OPERATION
1. Pull feed lever forward until the lever cam points to
the desired tape length on the BLACK scale.
NOTE: Pull the lever with even pressure – Do not
yank it. (See Figure 11)
2. Release the lever to automatically cut the tape – Do
not push the lever back.
NOTE: To cut very short lengths (4-8"), you may
have to push the lever back gently.
3. To preset a second tape length: (for ‘H' closings,
different box sizes, etc.): Loosen the clamping nut
and set the lever cam to point to the desired length
on the RED scale.
NOTE: When using two lengths, the longer
length should be set on the RED scale.

INSTALAR EL DEPÓSITO DE AGUA
Antes de usar el despachador: Retire el depósito de
agua del interior de la máquina.
1. Retire el cepillo del ensamble y lave con agua y
jabón. Enjuague bien y regréselo al depósito de agua.
(Vea Diagrama 1)
2. Con la palanca de alimentación completamente
recta hacia arriba, tome el depósito en la mano
izquierda e inserte el eje del pivote en las ranuras
de los laterales del despachador. Mueva el eje
hacia la parte superior de las ranuras.
(Vea Diagrama 2)
3. Deslice el depósito hacia abajo de forma que la
parte inferior quede por encima de la pestaña del
despachador. (Vea Diagrama 3)
INSTALAR EL SOPORTE DE LA BOTELLA DE AGUA
1. Retire los soportes de plástico del interior.
2. Instale el soporte más largo en las ranuras frontales.
Inserte primero la ranura superior y embónela en su
lugar.
3. Haga lo mismo con el soporte más corto en la
ranura posterior.
LLENAR LA BOTELLA PARA AGUA
1. Quite la botella de los soportes y voltéela de forma
que la abertura de llenado mire hacia arriba.
(Vea Diagrama 4)
2. Presione el balero hacia adentro y llene la botella
con agua limpia. Voltee la botella y coloque la
abertura de llenado sobre la marca de nivel de
agua deseada en el depósito de agua.

Compruebe los códigos locales y estatales.
Este despachador de cinta debe utilizarse SOLO con
cinta engomada. Uline no acepta responsabilidad
alguna por los daños ocasionados debido a un uso
inadecuado.
SI UTILIZA LA RESISTENCIA SUPERIOR OPCIONAL
¡ADVERTENCIA! Peligro de quemadura –
Desenchufe la resistencia superior y permita
que se enfríe antes de limpiarla, realizar tareas
de mantenimiento o reparaciones.
Mantenga la máquina limpia, seca y en buenas
condiciones de funcionamiento. NO coloque ni haga
funcionar la máquina en entornos húmedos o mojados.

3. Ajuste el nivel del depósito: Para mantener un nivel
de humedad óptimo para el tipo de cinta que
vaya a usar, coloque la abertura de llenado de la
botella para agua sobre una de las tres marcas de
nivel en el depósito. (Vea Diagrama 5)
INSTALAR LA GUÍA DE LA PLACA SUPERIOR
Con la cubierta superior abierta, deslice la guía de
papel superior por debajo de la rueda blanca.
NOTA: El borde deberá apuntar hacia arriba y
hacia el compartimento para la cinta.

INSTALAR EL PESO Y LA PLACA DE CUBIERTA
1. Fije el peso a la placa de cubierta con una
contratuerca. Deslice el peso hacia atrás para
cintas de papel más ligeras (grado 60/70). Deslice
el peso hacia adelante para cintas de papel más
pesadas (grado 70+). (Vea Diagrama 7)
2. Tome el ensamble de la placa de cubierta/el peso
y deslice las muescas por encima del eje del pivote
del depósito de agua. (Vea Diagrama 8)
CARGAR EL ROLLO DE CINTA
1. Ajuste las placas de la guía de rollo para
adaptarlas al ancho de la cinta. (Vea Diagrama 9)

2. Vuelva a colocar el rodillo para cintas con
pegamento arriba o abajo.
3. Inserte el rollo de cinta entre las placas de guía y
por encima del rodillo de forma que la cinta quede
colocada con la cara engomada hacia abajo. Inserte
la cinta por debajo de la guía de papel superior y la
rueda blanca. (Vea Diagramas 10 A y 10B)

FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Jale la palanca hacia adelante hasta que la leva
de la palanca apunte hacia el largo de cinta
deseado en la escala NEGRA.
NOTA: Jale la palanca ejerciendo una presión
regular, no la jale bruscamente.
(Vea Diagrama 11)
2. Libere la palanca para cortar la cinta
automáticamente. No empuje la palanca hacia
atrás.
NOTA: Para cortar trozos muy cortos
[10-20 cm (4-8")], puede que tenga que
empujar la palanca hacia atrás con suavidad.
3. Para fijar una segunda longitud de cinta: (para
cierres en forma de "H", cajas de diferentes
tamaños, etc.): Afloje la tuerca de la abrazadera
y coloque la leva de la palanca para que apunte
hacia el largo deseado en la escala ROJA.
NOTA: Cuando utilice dos longitudes, la más
larga debe colocarse en la escala ROJA.

MANTENIMIENTO SEMANAL
Lave el cepillo de humectación con agua tibia y jabón.
Enjuáguelo bien con agua.
MANTENIMIENTO MENSUAL
1. Lubrique las navajas de corte con una gota de aceite.
2. Limpie la rueda de goma con agua. No engrase o
lubrique la rueda. Acceda a la rueda quitando la
guía de papel superior.
3. Lave el depósito de agua con agua y jabón.
Enjuáguelo bien.

INSTALLATION DU RÉSERVOIR D'EAU
Avant d'utiliser le dévidoir: retirez le réservoir d'eau situé
à l'intérieur de la machine.
1. Retirez la brosse de l'ensemble et nettoyez-la avec
de l'eau savonneuse. Rincez-la bien, puis insérez-la
de nouveau dans le réservoir. (Voir Figure1)
2. Avec le levier d'alimentation orienté vers le haut,
prenez le réservoir dans votre main gauche et
insérez l'arbre pivot dans les fentes sur les côtés
du dévidoir. Déplacez l'arbre jusqu'à la partie
supérieure des fentes. (Voir Figure2)
3. Glissez le réservoir vers le bas afin que le dessous
s'insère sur la languette du dévidoir. (Voir Figure3)
INSTALLATION DU PORTE-BOUTEILLE
1. Retirez les supports en plastique se trouvant à
l'intérieur de l'appareil.
2. Installez le support long dans les fentes à l'avant.
Insérez-le d'abord dans la fente du dessus, puis
enclenchez-le en position.
3. Répétez l'opération avec le support court dans la
fente à l'arrière.
REMPLISSAGE DE LA BOUTEILLE D'EAU
1. Retirez la bouteille des supports et retournez-la afin
que l'orifice de remplissage soit orienté vers le haut.
(Voir Figure4)
2. Appuyez sur le roulement à billes et remplissez
la bouteille avec de l'eau propre. Retournez la
bouteille et placez l'orifice de remplissage sur la tige
de niveau d'eau souhaitée dans le réservoir d'eau.
