CONTROL OPERATION AND FUNCTIONS
POWER SUPPLY
This unit is designed to operate on AC mains supply or 9V DC by using 6 pieces UM1 (D size)
or equivalent batteries. (Batteries not included).
AC OPERATION
Plug the AC power cord Into AC SOCKET and Insert end of the AC power cord into an AC wall
outlet. The batteries will be automatically disconnected.
DC OPERATION
Open the BATTERY DOOR (27). Install 6 pcs. "UM1/D size" batteries. Please make sure they
are inserted with correct polarity and close the door. Your unit is now ready for operation.
POWER INDICATOR (23)
When the unit is turned on, this LED indicator will illuminate.
RADIO OPERATION
A. Set FUNCTION SWITCH (5) to "RADIO" position and set BAND SWITCH (6) to your desired
radio band position.
B. Tune in to your desired radio station with the TUNING KNOB (2).
C. Adjust VOLUME CONTROL (1) to desired output level.
D. Extend TELESCOPIC ANTENNA (26) to full extent if you are listening to FM or SW broad
casting.
E When select FM band, turn the TUNING KNOB (2) to select the required station. The FM
stereo Indicator light will show a stereo broadcast is being received.
F. Turn oft the radio by switching FUNCTION SWITCH (5) to "TAPE" position.
