takräcke.

Nyckelnummer
Vänligen notera numret på din nyckel i
rutan ovan. Vid förlust av nyckel kan denna
återbeställas.

Förberedelser
Vid första montering behöver listen klippas till
rätt längd.
Dra därefter isär t-spårslisten.
Lägg ner listen i takräcket. Pilarna på listen
visar åt vilket håll listen ska placeras. Pilarna
ska peka mot bilens front.

Placering av takräcke
• Öppna dörrarna.
• Leta reda på takräckenas
infästningspunkter i dörrkarmarna.
Infästningspunkterna består av två
nitmuttrar som är försänkta i dörrkarmarna.
OBS
För att undvika lackskador:
Rengör noggrant nitmuttrarna och taket
där takräckenas fastspänningsanordningar
och fötter vilar.
• Lossa takräckenas täckkåpor genom att
vrida låsnyckeln 90° motsols och sedan
lossa försiktigt på täckkåpan.
• Fäll upp täckkåpan.
För att sätta rätt takräcke på rätt plats, se
dekalen som är placerad under takräcket.

• Skruva ut skruven en bit på båda sidor av
takräckets fästbygel.
• Dra ut fästbygeln och fäll upp den.

• Placera takräckets ena fot vid takkanten, så
att tapparna (1) på fästbygeln hamnar i linje
med nitmuttrarna (2) i dörrkarmen.
• Sänk försiktigt ned takräckets andra fot
mot takkanten på andra sidan.
• Kontrollera att den lilla radien (3) på
takräckets fot ligger an runt motsvarande
rundning på takkantens ovansida.
OBS
Om takräckets fot inte ligger an runt
motsvarande rundning på takkantens
ovansida, går det att lossa skruvarna under
gummilisten och justera foten några mm
längs profilen.

OBS
Var rädd om lackade ytor.
• För fästbygeln ned mot takkanten.
• Dra ut fästbygeln så att tapparna (1) går fri
från takkanten. Lossa skruven (2) om det
behövs.
• Skjut in fästbygeln så att tapparna passar
i nitmuttrarna på dörrkarmen. Justera
takräckets fot i sidled om det behövs.
• Tryck fästbygeln mot bilen och skruva i
fästbygelns skruv (2) löst, så att tapparna
(1) inte ramlar ur nitmuttrarna.

• Kontrollera att takräckets fot (1) ligger an
mot takkanten.
• Dra fast fästbygelns skruv med
medföljande verktyg, genom att växelvis
dra åt på varje sida. När det klickar över har
rätt moment åstadkommits.

• Sätt tillbaka täckkåporna över lasthållarnas
gavlar och vrid låsnyckeln (1) 90° medsols.

Vid användning av T-spårsats
• Fäll ner kåpan.
• För in T-spårskruven i skåran i listen.

Säkerhetsanvisningar
OBS
Högsta tillåtna taklast och totalvikt
för bilen får inte överskridas (se bilens
instruktionsbok). Maximal taklast utgörs av
summan av takräckenas egenvikt, tillbehör
och last.
OBS
Fördela lasten jämnt över lastytan, med så
låg tyngdpunkt som möjligt och spänn fast
den så att den inte kan lossna.
OBS
Kontrollera lastens läge och fastspänning
med jämna mellanrum.
OBS
Kontrollera skruvförband och fästen efter
en kort körsträcka. Vid behov, dra åt med
föreskrivet moment. Kontrollera med jämna
mellanrum.

Köregenskaperna samt fordonets
sidvindskänslighet förändras med last på
taket. Anpassa hastigheten efter fordonets
last (max. 130 km/h / 80 mph). Gällande
hastighetsbestämmelser och övriga
trafikregler ska alltid följas.
OBS
För andra trafikanters säkerhet och för att
spara energi, ta bort takräckena när de inte
används.

installing the load carriers.
NOTE

this manual.

Installing the load carriers

Preparations
When installing for the first time, the trim
needs to be cut to the correct length.
The pull apart the T-track trim.
Apply the trim to the load carrier. The arrows
on the trim show the installation direction. The
arrows should point towards the front of the
car.

Positioning the load carriers
• Open the doors.
• Locate the mounting points for the load
carriers in the door frames. Themounting
points consist of two rivet nuts that are
countersunk into the door frames.
NOTE
To avoid paintwork damage:
Thoroughly clean the rivet nuts and the roof
where the attachment devices and feet for
the load carriers will make contact.
• Loosen the covers on the load carriers by
turning the locking key 90° anticlockwise,
and then carefully loosen the cover.
• Fold up the cover.
To install the right load carrier in the right place,
see the decal located under the load carrier.

• Undo the screw slightly on both sides of
the load carrier's attaching brace.
• Pull the attaching brace out and fold it up.

• Position one of the load carrier's feet at the
edge of the roof, so that the pins (1) on the
attaching brace are in line with the rivet
nuts (2) in the door frame.
• Carefully lower the other load carrier foot to
the edge of the roof on the other side.
• Check that the small radius (3) on the
load carrier's foot is in contact around the
equivalent curvature on the top side of the
roof edge.
NOTE
If the load carrier's foot is not in contact
around the equivalent curvature on the
top side of the roof edge, it is possible to
undo the screws under the rubber strip and
adjust the foot several millimetres along
the contour.

NOTE
Do not damage the painted surfaces.
• Position the attaching brace down against
the roof edge.
• Pull out the attaching brace so that the pins
(1) become free from the edge of the roof.
Loosenthe screw (2) if necessary.
• Slide on the attaching brace so that the
pins fit in the rivet nuts on the door frame.
Adjust the load carrier's foot laterally if
required.
• Press the attaching brace into the car and
loosely tighten its screw (2) so that the
pins (1) do not fall out of the rivet nuts.

• Check that the load carrier's foot (1) is in
contact with the edge of the roof.
• Tighten the load carrier's screw with the
enclosed tool, by tightening alternately
on each side. The correct torque has been
reached when the tool clicks over.

• Reinstall the covers on the end faces of the
load carriers and turn the lock key (1) 90°
clockwise.

When using T-groove kit
• Lower the cover.
• Insert the T-track screw in the slot in the
trim.

Safety instructions
NOTE
Maximum permitted roof load and total
weight for the car must not be exceeded
(see the owner's manual for the car).
Maximumroof load consists of the total
of the load carrier's unladen weight,
accessories and load.
NOTE
Distribute the load evenly over the loading
surface, with as low a centre of gravity as
possible, and secure it so that it cannot
come loose.
NOTE
Check the position and securement of the
load at regular intervals.
NOTE
Check bolted joints and brackets after
ashort driving distance. If necessary,
tighten to theprescribed torque. Checkat
regular intervals.

The car's driving characteristics and
crosswind sensitivity are changed by a
load on the roof. Adaptspeed according to
vehicle load (max. 130 km/h / 80 mph).
Always follow applicablespeed limits and
other traffic laws.
NOTE
For the safety of other road users and to
save energy, remove the load carriers when
not in use.
