Getting Started
Before using this hygrometer, open the battery compartment and remove the battery tab. If probe temperature
display is desired, plug the supplied temperature probe into the socket located on the side of the hygrometer.
Operation
SETTING TIME-OF-DAY
Slide the CLOCK SET switch, located on the back of the unit, to the CLOCK SET position. Press the HR button to set
the hours. Press the MIN button to set the minutes. Press and hold the button to rapidly advance the display. With
the desired time-of-day indicated on the display, slide the CLOCK SET switch to the LOCK position.

12/24 HOUR DISPLAY
Slide the 12HR/24HR switch, located on the back of the unit, to the desired position. In 12 hour format, “AM/PM” will
appear on the display.
SELECTING °C OR °F
To display the temperature reading in Fahrenheit or Celsius, slide the °C/°F switch, located on the back of the unit, to
the desired position.
ABOUT THE MEMORY
Minimum and maximum memories are NOT programmable. The minimum temperature and humidity recorded into
memory are the minimum temperature and humidity achieved since the last time the memory was cleared. The
maximum temperature and humidity recorded into memory are the maximum temperature and humidity achieved
since the last time the memory was cleared. The minimum and maximum memories are maintained over the period
since the memory was cleared.
VIEWING THE HUMIDITY MEMORY
To view the humidity memory, press the HUMIDITY MEMORY button. The maximum humidity reading achieved will
be displayed (“MAX” will appear on the display). Press the HUMIDITY MEMORY button a second time, within 10
seconds, to view the minimum humidity achieved (“MIN” will appear on the display). Note: Ten (10) seconds after
pressing the HUMIDITY MEMORY button, the unit automatically returns to the current temperature/humidity reading.
Press the HUMIDITY MEMORY button a third time, within 10 seconds, to return to the current humidity reading.
CLEARING THE HUMIDITY MEMORY
The minimum and maximum humidity memory may be cleared independently. To clear the desired humidity memory
(MIN or MAX), press the CLEAR button while that memory value is being displayed (see the “Viewing the Humidity
Memory” section). The display will show “--” for approximately 8 seconds and will then display the current humidity
reading. VIEWING THE TEMPERATURE MEMORY To view the temperature memory, press the TEMP MEMORY
button. The maximum temperature reading achieved will be displayed in the top display (“MAX” will appear to the right
of the value). The minimum temperature reading achieved will be displayed in the middle display (“MIN” will appear to
the right of the value). Press the TEMP MEMORY button a second time, within 5 seconds, to return the current
temperature reading and time-of-day display.
Note: Five (5) seconds after pressing the TEMP MEMORY button, the unit automatically returns to the current
temperature/time-of-day display.
CLEARING THE TEMPERATURE MEMORY
To clear the temperature memory (MIN and MAX), press the CLEAR button while the temperature memory is being
displayed (see the “Viewing the Temperature Memory” section). The display will show “- -” for approximately 8
seconds and will then display the current temperature and time-of-day.

Troubleshooting
If this unit does not function properly for any reason, replace the battery with a new high quality battery (see the
“Battery Replacement” section). Low battery power can occasionally cause any number of “apparent” operational
difficulties. Replacing the battery with a new fresh battery will solve most difficulties.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Erratic readings, faint readings, or no display are all indications that the battery must be replaced. Remove the battery
cover by sliding it in the direction indicated by the arrow. Remove the exhausted battery and replace it with a new AAA
alkaline battery. Make certain to insert the new battery with the proper polarity as indicated in the illustration in the

Par visualizar la temperatura MIN-MAX:
1. Pulse el botón de memoria TEMP MIN-MAX. Pulse CLEAR para borrar el registro de la memoria MIN-MAX TEMP.
2. Pulse el botón de memoria TEMP MIN-MAX para visualizar la temperatura actual, si no se pulse ningún botón en
un periodo de 8 segundos, se volverá a visualizar tiempo-temperatura-humedad actuales.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL HIGRÓMETRO (parte delantera de la unidad):
Para leer la humedad relativa MIN-MAX :
1. Pulse el botón de memoria HUMIDITYMIN-MAX para visualizar la lectura máxima. Pulse de nuevo el botón
MIN-MAX para visualizar la lectura mínima. Cuando se visualiza la lectura máxima, pulse CLEAR para borrar la
lectura máxima. Cuando se visualiza la lectura mínima, pulse CLEAR para borrar la lectura mínima.
2. Pulse el botón de memoria HUMIDITYMIN-MAX para visualizar la lectura actual, si no se pulse ningún botón en
un periodo de 8 segundos, se volverá a visualizar tiempo-temperatura-humedad actuales.

Todos las dificultades en el funcionamiento
Si por cualquier motivo, este dispositivo no funciona correctamente, reemplace la batería por una nueva batería de
alta calidad (referirse a la sección “Reemplazo de la batería”). La situación de batería baja puede en ciertos casos
provocar unas dificultades de funcionamiento “aparentes”. Reemplazar la batería con nueva batería puede resolver
las mayores dificultades. En caso de bajo voltaje de la batería, los símbolos °C y °F se pondrán a destellar.
REEMPLAZO DE LA BATERÍA
Lecturas erráticas, visualización débil o ausente, símbolos °C/°F destellando en la pantalla, todos indican que la
batería tiene que ser reemplazada. Retire la tapa de la batería en la parte trasera de la unidad. Saque la batería
agotada y reemplace la por otra nueva de tipoAAA alcalina (Categoría de reemplazo No. 1105)

Pour lire l’Humidité relative MIN-MAX :
1. Appuyer sur la touche mémoire HUMIDITE MIN-MAX pour lire une lecture maximale. Appuyer à nouveau sur la
touche MIN-MAX pour lire une lecture minimale. En lecture maximale, appuyer sur EFFACER pour effacer la
lecture maximale. En lecture minimale, appuyer sur EFFACER pour effacer la lecture minimale.
2. Appuyer sur la touche mémoire HUMIDITE MIN-MAX pour une lecture actuelle ou si, après 8 secondes aucune
touche n’a été utilisée, l’affichage reprendra l’affichage actuel heure-température-humidité.

Tous les problèmes de fonctionnement
Si cette unité ne fonctionne pas correctement pour une raison quelconque, remplacer la pile par une nouvelle pile de
haute qualité (cf. partie « Remplacer les piles »). Une pile faible peut occasionnellement provoquer un certain nombre
de problèmes de fonctionnement « apparents ». Le remplacement de la pile par une nouvelle pile résoudra la plupart
des problèmes. Si le voltage de la pile baisse, les symboles °C et °F faibles clignoteront.
REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE
Des erreurs de lecture, un affichage faible, aucun affichage ou des symboles °C/°F qui clignotent sont des signes que
la pile doit être remplacée. Oter le couvercle de la pile à l’arrière de l’unité. Sortir la pile usée et remplacer par une pile
AAA alcaline (Cat. N° 1105).

Einstellung der aktuellen Zeit:
1. Schieben sie den CLOCK SETSchalter auf die CLOCK SET Position.
2. Drücken Sie die HR Taste und lassen Sie diese wieder los ,um die aktuelle Stundenzahl einzustelllen. Halten
Sie die HR Taste für eine schnellere Einstellung der Stundenzahl gedrückt.
3. Drücken Sie die MIN Taste und lassen Sie diese wieder los ,um die aktuelle Minutenzahl einzugeben. Halten Sie
die MIN Taste für eine schnellere Einstellung der Minutenzahl gedrückt.
4. Schieben Sie den CLOCK SET Schalter auf die LOCK Position.
12-Stunden (AM/PM) oder 24-Stunden Uhrzeitformat (Rückseite des Gerätes) Internationale Zeitanzeige
Verschieben Sie einfach den 12HR / 24 HR Schalter, um das von Ihnen gewünschte Zeitformat auszuwählen. Im 12
HR Format wird ein “AM” oder “PM” erscheinen das die Stunden mit dem ZusatzAM oder PM anzeigt.
Temperaturanzeige in °C oder °F (Rückseite des Gerätes)
Verschieben Sie den Schalter auf die °C oder °F Position um die Temperaturanzeige in °C oder °F auszuwählen.

2. Drücken Sie die TEMP MIN-MAX – Speichertaste, um die aktuellen Messwerte zu lesen; wird für mehr als 8
Sekunden keine Taste gedrückt, so wird dasAnzeigenfeld wieder zur aktuellen Zeit – Temperatur – Luftfeuchtigkeit
- Anzeige zurückkehren.
BEDIENUNG DES HYGROMETERS (Vorderseite)
Ablesen der minimalen- / maximalen relativen Luftfeuchtigkeit (MIN-MAX):
1. Drücken Sie die HUMIDITY MIN-MAX – Speichertaste, um die höchste gemessene Luftfeuchtigkeit abzulesen.
Drücken Sie die MIN-MAX Taste erneut, um die niedrigste gemessene Luftfeuchtigkeit abzulesen. Sobald Sie die
höchste gemessene Luftfeuchtigkeit abgelesen haben, drücken Sie CLEAR um den gemessenen Höchstwert zu
löschen. Sobald sie die niedrigste gemessene Luftfeuchtigkeit abgelesen haben, pressen Sie CLEAR, um den
gemessenen Niedrigswert zu löschen.
2. Drücken Sie die HUMIDITY MIN-MAX – Speichertaste, um die aktuellen Messwerte zu lesen; wird für mehr als 8
Sekunden keine Taste gedrückt, so kehr dasAnzeigenfeld wieder zur aktuellen Zeit – Temperatur –

Luftfeuchtigkeit- Anzeige zurück.
Allgemeine Bedienungsschwierigkeiten
Wenn dieses Gerät aus irgendeinem Grunde nicht funktioniert, ersetzen Sie die Batterie mit einer neuen Batterie von
hoher Qualität (siehe Abschnitt “Batteriewechsel”). Ein zu geringer Batterieladezustand kann gelegentlich eine Vielzahl
der bei der Bedienung “auftretenden” Schwierigkeiten verursachen. DerAustausch der Batterie gegen eine neue
Batterie wird die meisten Bedienungsprobleme lösen. Ein niedriger Ladezustand der Batterie wird mit einem Blitzen der
°C und F° Symbole angezeigt.
BATTERIEWECHSEL
Uneinheitlich wechselnde Anzeigewerte, ein lichtschwaches Display, keine Displayanzeige, oder das Erscheinen
blitzender °C / °F Symbole auf dem Display sind alles Hinweise darauf, dass die Batterie ersetzt werden muss.
Entnehmen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung auf der Rückseite des Gerätes. Entnehmen Sie die verbrauchte Batterie
und ersetzen Sie diese durch eine neue AAAAlkaline Batterie (Ersatzteil-Katalog Nr. 1105).

2. Premere e rilasciare il pulsante HR per impostare l'ora attuale. Premere e mantenere il pulsante HR per
un'impostazione più rapida.
3. Premere e rilasciare il pulsante MIN per impostare il minuto attuale. Premere e mantenere il pulsante MIN per
un'impostazione più rapida.
4. Far scorrere l'interruttore CLOCK SET in posizione LOCK.
12 Ore AM/PM o 24 Ore (retro dell'unità)

Far scorrere semplicemente l'interruttore 12HR/24HR per scegliere il formato desiderato. Nel formato 12HR un
simbolo "AM" o "PM" apparirà per indicare oreAM o PM.

Per selezionare °C o °F far scorrere l'interruttore in posizione °C o °F
Operazioni del termometro (davanti)
Per leggere le temperature MIN-MAX:
1. Premere il pulsante di memoria TEMP MIN-MAX. Premere CLEAR per cancellare i dati di memoria MIN-MAX.
2. Premere il pulsante di memoria TEMP MIN-MAX per la lettura attuale o, se dopo 8 secondi nessuna chiave viene
premuta lo schermo ritornerà all'attuale schermata tempo-temperatura-umidità.
OPERAZIONI IGROMETRO (davanti)
Per leggere umidità MIN-MAX relativa:
1. Premere il pulsante di memoria HUMIDITYMIN-MAX per leggere la lettura massima. Premere ancora il pulsante
MIN-MAX per leggere la lettura minima. Durante la lettura della massima, premere CLEAR per cancellare la
lettura massima. Durante la lettura della minima, premere CLEAR per cancellare la lettura minima.
2. Premere il pulsante di memoria HUMIDITYMIN-MAX per l'attuale lettura o, se dopo 8 secondi nessuna chiave

viene premuta lo schermo ritornerà all'attuale schermata tempo-temperatura-umidità.
Tutte le difficoltà di gestione
Se questo termometro per qualsiasi ragione non funzione adeguatamente, sostituire la batteria con una batteria di alta
qualità (Vedi la sezione “Sostituzione Batteria”). Batterie a bassa carica possono occasionalmente causare un numero di
“apparenti” difficoltà di gestione. Sostituire la batteria con una nuova risolveràla maggior parte delle difficoltà. Se il
voltaggio della batteria si abbassasse, i simboli °C e °F lampeggeranno.
SOSTITUZIONE DELLA BATTERIA
Letture erronee, uno schermo vago o nessuno schermo, o simboli °C/°F che lampeggiano sullo schermo, sono tutte
indicazioni che la batteriadeve essere sostituita. Rimuovere il coperchio della batteria sul retro. Rimuovere la batteria
usata e sostituirla con una nuova batteria AAA Alkaline (Sostituzione N. Cat. 1105).

Il cliente dovrà assicurare le parti da restituire contro eventuali danni o perdite. La presente garanzia è limitata ai

Para acertar o tempo atual:
1. Deslise o comutador do CLOCK SET na posição CLOCK SET.
2. Pressione e solte a tecla HR para acertar a hora atual. Pressione e mantenha a tecla HR para configurar mais
rápido.
3. Pressione e solte a tecla MIN para acertar o minuto atual. Pressione e mantenha a tecla MIN para configurar
mais rápido.
4. Deslise o comutador CLOCK SET na posição LOCK.
Visualização no modo 12 Horas AM/PM ou 24 Horas (na parte traseira do dispositivo)
Visualização da hora internacional
Simplesmente deslise o comutador 12HR/24HR para selecionar o formato desejado. No formato 12HR o simbolo
“AM” ou“PM” visualiza-se indicando as horas AM ou PM.
Visualização da temperatura em °C ou °F (na parte traseira do dispositivo)
Para selecionar °C ou °F, deslise o comutador na posição °C ou °F.
Funcionamento do termômetro (na frente do dispositivo)
Para visualizar as temperaturas MIN-MAX:
1. Pressione a tecla TEMP MIN-MAX. Pressione CLEAR para apagar o registro da memoria MIN-MAX TEMP.
2. Pressione a tecla da memoria TEMP MIN-MAX para visualizar as leituras atuais, se não for pressionada
nenhuma tecla durante 8 segundos, os valores atuais de tempo-temperatura-umidade volveram a visualizar-se.
FUNCIONAMENTO DO HIGRÔMETRO (na frente do dispositivo)
Para visualizar a umidade relativa MIN-MAX:
1. Pressione a tecla da memoria HUMIDITY MIN-MAX para visualizar a leitura máxima. Pressione de novo a tecla
MIN-MAX para visualizar a leitura minima. Quando se visualiza a leitura minima, pressione CLEAR para apagar a
leitura minima.
2. Pressione a tecla da memoria HUMIDITY MIN-MAX para visualizar o valor atual ou se não for pressionada
nenhuma tecla durante 8 segundos, os valores atuais de tempo-temperatura-umidade volveram a visualizar-se.

Todas as dificuldades no funcionamento
Se por qualquer motivo, não funciona adequadamente o dispositivo, substitua a bateria com uma nova bateria de alta
qualidade (referir-se à secção ”Substituição da bateria”). Bateria com carga baixa pode causar às vezes certos
problemas “aparentes” de funcionamento. Substituir a bateria com nova bateria permitirá resolver a maioria das
dificuldades. Se a voltagem da bateria se tornar baixa, os símbolos °C ou °F começarão a piscar.
SUBSTITUIÇÃO DA BATERIA
Leituras irregulares, visualização fraca ou ausente ou aparição dos símbolos °C/°F piscando, são todas signos do
que a bateria tem de ser substituída. Remova a tampa da bateria na parte traseira do dispositivo. Solte a bateria
gasta e substitui-a com nova bateria de substituição de tipo AAA alcalina (Cat. de substituição No. 1105).
Garantia
A VWR International garante que este produto está isento de defeitos de material e de fabrico por um período de
dois (2) anos a partir da data de fornecimento. Caso seja detectado um defeito, a VWR irá, a seu crédito e custos,
reparar, substituir ou reembolsar o preço de compra deste produto ao cliente, desde que o produto seja devolvido
durante o período de garantia. Esta garantia não se aplica se o produto tiver sido danificado devido a acidente, uso
indevido, se tiver sido aplicado incorrectamente, ou se os danos resultarem do desgaste normal. Se a manutenção
necessária e serviços de inspecção não forem efectuados de acordo com os manuais e com as normas locais, a
respectiva garantia torna-se inválida, com a excepção dos casos em que o defeito do produto não resulta do
incumprimento das inspecções e regulamentos.
Os artigos a devolver devem ser protegidos pelo cliente contra potenciais danos ou perda. Esta garantia é limitada
