Assembly
The 8628 Cup & Plate Hardware Marking Jig consists
of a two Head Assemblies, two Stop Assemblies and an 8"
& 36" One Track. The 8" One Tracks allow you to use the
Jigs individually. The 36" One Track allows you to mount
both Head Assemblies and one or both Stop Assemblies.
Since the instructions for the 8627 are included and cover
how to assemble and use the Jigs individually, these instructions
will only cover using both Jigs mounted on the 36" One Track.
After mounting both Head Assemblies near the
center of the 36" One Track, mount one or both Stop
Assemblies near one or both ends of the One Track.

If using both Stop Assemblies, the short One
Track, T-knob & hardware on one of the Stop
Assemblies will need to be flipped and attached on
the opposite face of its mounting plate. See Fig 1

Outside Stop Indexing Bushings removed.
Using The Jig:
Place the Head Assembly indexing bushings against the edge of the part and "hook" the Stop Assembly bushings on two
corners of the part, or between the parts, to position the Marking Jigs where needed, then mark the hardware locations. Since the
indexing bushings are in the same location on both sides of the Jig, it can be flipped to go from left to right or top to bottom.
