Driving safety
1.It is strictly prohibited to lend the scooter to anyone
who is not familiar with its performance.
2.Electric scooter shall carry personnel or articles in
accordance with laws and regulations, and overload is
strictly prohibited. The center of gravity of the loaded
goods should be as low as possible and close to the
center of the scooter, and the loading wieght should be
evenly distributed around to keep the scooter balanced.
When the center of gravity of the cargo weight is far
away, the maneuverability of the scooter will be affected
to varying degrees. No goods can be hung on the steering
handle. All goods must be firmly fixed on the scooter.
The rear shelf is limited to 2Kg, the front storage box is
limited to 1.5Kg, the rear storage box is limited to 3Kg,
and the scooter load is strictly prohibited to exceed 150Kg.
3.When riding, we should wear helmet, goggles and
other protective devices that meet the safety standards
correctly. We should wear clothes that are clear, free to
move all over, not tight, and not open cuffs. Don't wear
loose clothes to avoid being caught by moving parts such
as wheels and chains and causing danger.
4.If you ride in a rainy or snowy day, the braking distance
will be extended and side slip will occur easily. Please
slow down. Heavy rain and other bad weather, try to
avoid travel. Turn on the headlight at night

Safety use
1.Electric scooters should not be parked in building lobbies,
escape stair, walkways and safety exits.
2.Electric scooters should not be charged and parked in
residential buildings, and should be kept away from
combustible materials during charging, and the charging
time should not be too long.
3.Batteries shall be properly used and maintained in
accordance with the instructions. Waste batteries shall not
be disassembled without authorization and shall be
recycled by relevant departments.
4.The charger shall be used and maintained correctly
according to the method required in the instruction manual.
Read the warning words of the charger carefully before use.
When replacing the charger, it shall match the battery model.
5.Before washing water with electric motor, you should know
the contents of the instructions on "matters needing
attention in washing water".
6.If the power supply is damaged or the charging system
fails, replace and maintain it at the authorized repair shop
designated by YADEA.
5.When riding, strictly follow the road traffic regulations
and slow down when passing through intersections, and
pay attention to pedestrians and scooters. Before turning,
a turning signal should be issued to slow down and not to
make a sudden sharp turn. When overtaking, the
overtaking scooter shall not be affected, it shall not be too
close to other motor scooters, and it is strictly prohibited to
scramble for lanes and roads.
6.Not drunk driving, suffering from hypertension, hernia,
cerebral concussion sequela, epilepsy and vascular diseases
and other diseases prone to sudden, not riding electric
motorcycle.
Night driving must turn on the headlights, keep the distance more than
50 meters, skillfully switch between high-beam and low-beam light.
Slow down when find the opposite with cars, bicycles and pedestrians,
and switch to low beam lights, if the other scooter lights makes you
dizzy, please pull over immediately and stop to avoid when necessary.

7.Check whether the power supply circuit and lighting circuit
are normal before driving. Whether the front and rear brakes
can work normally. Fixing handlebars and front wheels ,
rear wheels. Tyre pressure. Whether the reflector is damaged
or contaminated, etc. If there is any abnormality, please
contact YADEA authorized service station for repair or find
professional repair.
8.The installation of batteries for new scooters and
replacement of batteries for old scooters must be carried out
by professionals according to the "Battery Installation Work
Instructions" provided by our company. When the battery is
replaced, the connecting wire shall be replaced at the same
time and shall not be reused, and the original fittings of our
company shall be used. It is forbidden to put the battery
sideways or backwards.
9.Distributors and users are forbidden to wire or modify
the structural performance of scooters without permission.
Examples include: changing battery configuration,
changing route, increasing bulb power wattage, and
retrofitting muscle speaker.
10.It is forbidden to touch the live parts of the electric motor
with wet hands and metal conductors, such as battery box
socket, battery box connecting wire socket, charger power
plug, etc. Prevent electrical components from entering water;
When cleaning the scooter, avoid water from impacting the
charging socket, wiring harness connector, fuse and other
electrical components, and do not directly splash water
into the glove box.
11.When replacing fuses, use fuses of specified models and
specifications. It is strictly prohibited to directly short the
wires without adding fuses. The fuse should be in good
contact with the slot. If it is loose, it may cause the fuse to
heat up and cause accidents.
12.Inflammable, explosive and other dangerous goods,
articles with low heat resistance, retained food and wet rain
gear shall not be put into the container.
13.Do not use chargers of other brands and specifications
for charging. It is also forbidden to use the charger provided
by our company to charge other electric motors.
14.When charging, connect the output plug of the charger
with the charging jack of the battery reliably, and then

supply. For models with double battery box structure, if it
is necessary to remove the battery and charge separately,
all power connection wires such as transfer wires shall be
firmly plugged to ensure good contact, safety and reliability.
15.The storage battery and the charger being charged shall
be placed in a safe place where children cannot touch, free
of inflammable and explosive articles, ventilated and dry,
and shall not be charged in the open air, and liquid and
metal chips shall be prevented from penetrating into the
charger, so as to avoid accidents such as short circuit and
fire of electrical appliances caused by rain and other factors.
It is forbidden to use the charger in unstable, excessive
lampblack and dust, damp and direct sunlight environment.
Don't recharge when it thunders. When charging, the battery
and charger must not be covered with anything, and the
charger must not be placed on the saddle, so as not to affect
the heat dissipation.
16.The charging time shall not exceed 10 hours and the fast
charging station shall not be used for charging.
17.In the process of charging, if there is peculiar smell, too
high temperature, the indicator light of the charger has
not turned green after charging for more than 10 hours,
the battery is bulged and leaks liquid, etc., please stop
charging immediately and send it to the dealer for repair.
18.The electric motorcycle shall be parked or charged away
from heat source and fire source, and shall not be parked
in the storage of inflammable, explosive, corrosive and
other dangerous goods and in shops, warehouses and
miscellaneous articles rooms. When parking the scooter
and charging, the electric door lock should be closed
and pulled out.
19.Do not disassemble electrical components without
authorization. Non-professional personnel are strictly
prohibited to carry out maintenance. In case of failure,
they should go to YADEA professional service station
for maintenance..

4.OPERATE INSTRUCTION
1.Rotate power lock to seat cushion open position,
open seat cushion and then turn off the air switch.
2.Rotate power lock to battery box cover open position
to open the battery box cover.
3.Put the battery into battery box, connect the power wire
plug well, and then close the cover.
4.Turn on air switch, put down the swat cushion.
Ways to take out the battery:
1.Rotate power lock to seat cushion open position,
open seat cushion and then turn off the air switch.
2.Rotate power lock to battery box cover open
position to open the battery box cover.
3.Pull off the power wire plug and take out the battery.

1.Power on: Press the key at /Lock position, the
speedometer will display , then rotate the key clockwise
to position in 20S.
2.Power off:
①Turn off to gear , and press the key button, the vehicle
will anti-theft automatically after 3S.
②Turn off to gear , take the remote control away from vehicle
over 2 meters, the vehicle will anti-theft automatically after 3S.
③Turn off to gear , without leaving, the vehicle will
anti-theft automatically after 20S.
3.Seat lock and handlebar lock:
Press the key button at gear, the speedometer displays ,
rotate the key button counterclockwise to PUSH position
to open the seat cushion. Press the button and rotate
to LOCK position to lock the handlebar.
4.Open battery box: First lock the handlebar, and then
rotate the key button at LOCK gear counterclockwise.

1.Single mileage clear: Long press “SET” button over 5S.
2.High beam and low beam switch: When the headlight
switch is turned on, short press the button to change
high beam and low beam.
3.Turning light switch: Push the switch button to the left
or right to turn on the turning light at the corresponding
position and send out a continuous flashing orange light
signal. At the same time, the speedometer sends out a
green turn indicator signal. After the switch is reset to
the middle position, press the switch to turn off the
turning light.
4.Horn button: Press the horn button to start the horn.
The key operation of the above remote control requires
the remote control to be within 30 meters of the scooter.

Rotate counterclockwise to accelerate, rotate clockwise
to decelerate. Reset after loosening, the motor
stops outputting power.

The front brake lever is located on the right handlebar.
Holding the brake lever in the direction can make
the front wheel generate brake force.

1.Double flash switch: Short press the switch to turn
on/turn off the double flash light.
2.Lighting/Automatically headlight switch: When the power
lock is turned on, the headlight, taillight, license plate light
and speedometer light will turned on automatically. Long
press backward over 5S can change hand-operated
headlight model and automatically headlight model. In
hand-operated model, short press can turn on or turn off
the light master switch.
3.Model change: Long press the button to right over 5S to
change metric/imperial unit, short press can change
ECO/SPORT model.
4.Constant speed cruise: Short press to left can enter
constant speed cruise model.
5.P gear: Press this button to enter parking or starting state.
The rear brake lever is located on the left handlebar.
Holding the brake lever in the direction can make
the rear wheel generate brake force.

ATTENTION
●Do not park on soft ground or slope to prevent the scooter from
toppling over. You can use the main stand to support the
scooter for a long time.
●Turn off the power after parking, lock the anti-theft device, do
not put valuables in the scooter, do not forget to lock the seat
cushion and toolbox, and take away your belongings.
The main stand is located at the bottom of the center of
the scooter. When using the main stand to park, the left
hand holds the rear brake lever tightly to prevent it from
moving, the right hand holds the left position of the
passenger's armrest to keep the scooter vertical, and then
the main stand is supported by the foot to make the
scooter park stably.
The side stand is located on the lower left side of the
scooter. When parking with the side stand, hold the
rear brake lever tightly with your left hand to prevent it
from moving, hold your right hand at the left side of
the passenger's armrest to keep the scooter vertical,
and then lower the side stand with your feet to tilt the
scooter to the left for parking.

1.Turn on the power supply, operate the lighting switch,
and check whether the headlights and taillights are on
and whether the headlights are normal.
2.Operate the turning switch, check whether the turning
indicator is working properly.
3.Check whether the appearance of lighting and signaling

4.Check whether the power line connection of the whole
scooter is stable and whether the binding posts and
connectors are loose.
1.Check whether the power-off function of front and rear
brake lever reducer is normal before and after
respectively. Whether the reducer brake system
is flexible to operate.
2.Check whether the braking performance and braking
distance are abnormal. If abnormal phenomena such as
soft brake, long braking distance, worn brake pads, low
flour of brake fluid or leakage of fluid were found,
please contact the dealer.

2.Check whether the license plate is firmly installed,

ATTENTION
●Please keep it in the middle of the seat cushion. If it is too
forward or backward, the load ratio of front and rear wheels
will change, causing the handle to vibrate and causing danger.
1.Whether the tire pressure is normal. According to the
depression of the tire grounding part, judge whether
the air pressure is appropriate. If the air pressure is
abnormal, check it with a tire measure. Generally
speaking, the front wheels of ordinary tires are 175±5kpa
and the rear wheels are 200±5kpa. Vacuum tire: front
and rear wheels 250±5kpa.
2.Whether the tire is cracked or abnormally worn.
3.Whether the tire is embedded with nails, stones and glass.
4.When the tire is used to the tread wear mark, the
tire should be replaced.
1.Check whether the rear-view mirror is dirt or damage,
keep the mirror clean, replace it in time if it is damaged.
2.From the driver's position, observe whether the
rear-view mirror can see the rear and side road
conditions respectively.
1.Insert the key into the electric door lock, turn the power
switch clockwise to turn on the whole vehicle circuit.
2.Check power supply and lighting circuit. The front
and rear brake system. Reflector, license light.

3.Hold the handlebars with both hands, stabilize the
scooter hit the main support or the side support to
make the rear wheel land, support the ground with
the left foot and place the right foot in the pedal

rotate the speed control knob counterclockwise inward,
and the scooter will start to run.
You can use the throttle to adjust acceleration or
deceleration to control scooter speed. Turn the throttle
counterclockwise inward, and the speed will change
from slow to fast. On the contrary, the speed will slow
down from fast. After loosening, the throttle will
automatically reset and the motor will stop working.

DANGEROUS
●When the rear wheel touches the ground, the throttle cannot be
turned until the rider is firmly seated.
●Do not lend it or let it be used by people who are unfamiliar and
cannot drive. One-handed driving and drunk driving are dangerous.
●Only brake the front wheel or rear wheel, the scooter may slip
sideways, which is extremely dangerous. Please keep a safe
speed and slow brake ahead of time.
1.After returning the throttle quickly, hold the brake
lever tightly.
2.The braking effect is best when the brake is braked
slowly in advance and then tightened.
3.Do not brake sharply or turn sharply. Hard braking
and hard steering are the main factors causing side
slip or rollover, which are extremely dangerous.
1.Send out a signal in advance, approach the parking place,
return the throttle to its original position, and reach the
destination and then braking.
2.When the scooter is completely stopped, turn off the
turning light and headlight and turn off the power switch.
3.When parking, stand on the left and flat ground,
propping up the support.
4.When you leave the scooter, Please be sure to lock the
anti-theft lock and take away the key to prevent the
scooters from being stolen.
1.Regularly check whether the end cap screws on both
sides of the motor are loose.
2.Regularly check whether the motor wiring is loose,
whether the appearance is deformed, and whether
the motor phase wire is damaged.
3.When used in rainy days, the motor cannot run in
deep water, and the water surface cannot exceed the
position of the rear axle.
4.The motor hub cannot be violently impacted, and the
motor cannot be forced to run under the condition of
locked rotation. Overloading of the motor is strictly
prohibited.
5.If the motor is found to be operating abnormally,
it shall immediately stop operation and send it to the
authorized repair shop designated by YADEA for
repair and replacement.

1.Regularly check whether the controller fixing screws
and wiring are loose.
2.Regularly clean the dust on the controller surface is
beneficial to heat dissipation. It is forbidden to use
water to wash electrical appliances, so as not to

lampblack and dust, or excessively damp place.
●Avoid using the charger in direct rays.
●Keep well ventilation when the charger is operating.
●Do not connect the charge with commercial power
when the charger is not in use.

5.INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
Dear customers:
Please check and maintain the scooter regularly . when
it is stopped for a long time, it should also be checked
regularly. Check and maintain the new scooter when
it travels 300 kilometers.
1.Choose a spacious and flat place to support the main support.
2.When driving inspection is required, it should be
carried out in a safe place and pay attention to
the surrounding safety.
3.If any abnormality is found through inspection,
please eliminate the abnormality before driving.
If it is difficult for you to solve the problem, the
maintenance station can be entrusted for inspection.
1.Shake the handlebars to check for abnormal noise, and
check the handlebars, front fork and absorbers for
deformation, bending cracks and other abnormal phenomena.
2.Check the hydraulic front fork and absorber for oil
leakage and other abnormal phenomena. If there is any
abnormality, please go to the distribution unit for
inspection and maintenance.

1.If the battery needs to be stored for an extended period ,
it should be kept at around 50% state of charge (or charge
the battery for 2~3hours after used up), and should be
placed in a dry and ventilated circumstance.
The battery should be charged 2~3 hours every two months.
2.The battery and charger should be kept in storage in a clean,
dry and ventilated circumstance, it should be avoided to
touch with the corrosive substance and should be away
from excessive heat and open flames.
3.Storage conditions for the battery: circumstance
temperature -20～35℃, circumstance relative humidity:
5～65％RH
4.The battery should be packed into the box for transport,
it should be protected from intense physical shock,
severe vibration, impact, direct rays, or waterlogging.
The vehicle can be automobile, train, shipping, airplane, etc.
5.The charger should be disconnected from the battery
when be kept in storage.
6.Storage conditions for the charger: circumstance t
emperature -20～55℃,ircumstance relative humidity:
5～65％RH
7.The charger should be packed into the box for transport,
it should be protected from intense physical shock,
severe vibration, impact, direct rays, or waterlogging.
The vehicle can be automobile, train, shipping, airplane, etc.

ATTENTION Abnormal tire pressure, cracking, damage and severe wear
are one of the causes of tire burst with poor steering feeling.
1.With the tire cooling, check with the tire pressure gauge.
2.Check whether there are obvious cracks and damages on
the ground and side of the tire, and whether there are any
abnormal wear caused by long-term driving.
3.Check the tire wear, check the groove depth, and
replace the tire when the tire is used to the tread
wear mark. When there is any abnormality in the tire,
please go to the distribution unit to check or replace
the new tire. It is recommended that the rear wheel locking
torque is ≥ 60-80N.m and the front wheel locking
torque is ≥ 39-48N.m.

1.Check whether the wheels rotate smoothly, whether
there is abnormal noise, and whether the front and
rear wheel fixing screws are tightened.
2.Check whether the wheel rim is deformed or cracked,
and if there is any damage, please do to the distribution
unit for inspection and maintenance.

Inspection of the wheels
1.Whether the empty stroke of the brake handle is within
the specified range, the empty stroke of the drum brake
lever is 10-20mm, the empty stroke of the hydraulic
disc brake handle is generally 5-10mm,and the empty
stroke of the brake pedal is generally 20-30 mm.
Measurement shows that if it is not correct,
it should be adjusted.
