1 For your safety
Read the installation instructions carefully.
Keep them for future reference.
WARNING
Hazardous voltage, electric shock from contact with live parts.
The following installation information is intended for skilled personnel.
Only mechanic specialists are allowed to attach the accessories holder to
the DLT-V83 industrial PC.
Risk of injury and damage if the device falls
Ask someone to help with installing or removing the device.
Always hold the DLT-V83 by the housing when installing it.
Never use the antenna cap as a handle. It can break due to the weight
involved.
2 Tools required
−Allen key (5 mm width for M6)
−Socket wrench, size 7
3 Installation sequence
If the DLT-V83 is being used with an Advantech-DLoG mounting bracket,
the mounting bracket must first be attached to the DLT-V83.
Then attach the desired accessory holder to the DLT-V83.
Only mount the complete system at the deployment location, e.g. to the
forklift.
The screw holes on the left and right on the DLT-V83 are required to attach the
Advantech-DLoG mounting bracket.
In addition to the mounting bracket, one additional accessory holder each can be
attached on the left and right using these screw holes.

4 Assembling the voice kit
If the voice kit is going to be installed on the right on the DLT-V83, assemble the
voice kit as shown in Figure 1 .
If the voice kit is going to be installed on the left on the DLT-V83, assemble the
voice kit as shown in Figure 2 .

Note
The figure shows the attachment of the voice kit holder to the DLT-V83 on
the right-hand side. The attachment to the left-hand side occurs
analogously but mirror-inverted.
