Basic Call Handling
Make an internal call
Lift receiver and dial extension number
Make an external call
Lift receiver and dial 9 and telephone number
Receive a call
Lift receiver
Hold a call
Press the ‘R’ key
Retrieve a held call
Press the ‘R’ key
Transfer a call
Press the ‘R’ key, dial the extn number, announce
the call and replace the handset
Transfer a caller into a mailbox [R4.1 upwards]
Whilst on a call dial ‘R’ then * [Star] and the
extension number[The caller will be transferred
directly into the mailbox for them to leave a
message]
Retrieve a call
Press the ‘R’ key
Further Telephone Features
Redial last number
Lift receiver and press the ‘Redial’ key or dial 40
Call back
Dial extension, get busy tone, press ‘R’ and # key
Park a call
Press the ‘R’ key followed by 12
(This will hold the call on your phone)
Retrieve a parked call
Lift receiver, dial 12 and extn where the call was
parked
3 way conference call
Make / receive first call, press the ‘R’ key, dial
the extn number, when they answer, press the
‘R’ key followed by 50
To exit conference
Press the ‘R’ key, dial 50 and replace receiver
Call pick up
Lift receiver, dial 13 and ringing extn number
Group call pick up
Lift receiver, dial 14
(It will answer longest ringing call)
Activate tone dialling
When answered by an automated menu dial 69 to
activate touch tone dialling
Diverting your telephone
(When in divert you will get broken dial tone)
Divert immediately
Lift receiver, dial 61 and extn number to receive
calls
Divert immediately to voice mail
Lift receiver, dial 61 and dial voice mail extension
number _______ and replace receiver
Divert on busy
Dial 62 and extn number to receive calls
Do not disturb
Dial 63
Cancel any diversion and DND
Dial 60
Storing useful telephone

Use system speed dial
Dial speed dial numbers 7000 +
