We are pleased o say ha he reurn rae on BODUM® produc is very low; however, should you
need o process a reurned BODUM® produc under warrany, please follow he simple procedure
below. We have ried o make i as simple as possible for boh yourself and he end consumer.
BODUM AUSTRALIA WARRANTY PROCEDURE
Our goods come wih guaranees ha canno be excluded under he Ausralian Consumer Law.
Consumers are eniled o a replacemen or refund for a major failure and for compensaion for
any oher reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Consumers are also eniled o have he goods
repaired or replaced if he goods fail o be of accepable qualiy and he failure does no amoun
o a major failure.
The beneis o BODUM® cusomers given by he warrany se ou below are in addiion o oher
righs and remedies under a law in relaion o he BODUM® produc o which he warrany relaes.
To process a fauly BODUM® produc you will require a Reurn Auhorisaion (RA) number.
Reurned iems wihou a RA number are no able o be processed for credi or replacemen.
Conac BODUM® on [phone] for a RA number.
Fauly produc does no include iems which have incurred wear and ear hrough general home
use, misuse or commercial use. Warrany does no include accidenal glass breakages.
Warrany period:
e-Bodum®: 2 year replacemen warrany from he dae of purchase for elecrical appliances
where a defec appears and BODUM® is noiied wihin 2 years from dae of purchase.
Proof of purchase: any claim from he end consumer mus be validaed wih a copy of proof of
purchase; wihou providing a proof of purchase BODUM® Ausralia will no be able o process
he claim. Proof of purchase includes original purchase receip/docke or credi card saemen
showing he purchase amoun.
Replacemen or credi: once claim is validaed, if possible please replace he fauly iem from
sock on hand. If a cusomer requires a replacemen for an iem which you don’ have on hand,
please have he iem added o your nex order.
Reurn or work order: o ensure ha he reurn process is as easy as possible for boh you and
he end consumer, we don’ do work orders or produc repairs.
Once you have received a RA number and sighed he produc please safely dispose of he fauly
iem. We don’ require he fauly produc o be sen back o us. However, if you come across an
unusual faul which you hink we need o be aware of please send i back o BODUM® Ausralia
Head Oice.

If he supply cord is damaged, i mus be replaced by
qualiied elecrical person in order o avoid a hazard or he
produc mus be disposed.
The mains volage mus mach he informaion on he raing
label of he produc.
Avoid damages o he power cord. Do no allow he power
cord o kink or come in conac wih sharp corners.
Keep his produc including power cord and plug away
from all hea sources, i.e. ovens, ho plaes and oher hea-
producing devices/objecs.
Only unplug from he power socke do no pull on he cord.
Disconnec he produc from mains power:
•when he produc is no being used;
•in case of malfuncions;
•before aaching/deaching accessories;
•before cleaning and soring he produc.
Use he produc only in dry locaions indoors, never use i
ouside.
Place he produc on a sable, level, and slip resisan
surface.

a risk of burning.

The use of accessories and componens no recommended
by he manufacurer may resul in injuries or damages and
voids he warrany.
This produc is no suiable for commercial use. I is
designed for household use only.
Never allow he mains cable o loosely hang down. The
mains cable could pose a ripping hazard or become
damaged.
Never open and repair he machine yourself. Do no
modify he machine in any way ha is no described in he
insrucions for use. The machine conains live pars. Repair
may only be carried ou by auhorised service cenres.
During operaion, only hold he milk conainer by he hea
resisan handle.

INTENDED USE: This produc is suiable for
heaing and frohing milk only. Any oher
use may resul in damage o produc and/
or injuries.
Exension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in heir use. The marked elecrical raing of he
exension cord should be a leas as grea as he elecrical
raing of he appliance; The exension cord should be
arranged so ha i will no drape over he couner op or
able op where i can be pulled on by children or ripped
over.
CAUTION: To preven damage o he appliance do no use
alkaline cleaning agens when cleaning, use a sof cloh and
a mild deergen.

sable pad.
NOTE: Choose a spo for your milk froher
which is proeced agains overheaaing.

he desired lengh.

NOTE: When he main base is plugged in,
he ligh in he buon will always lash.
When you pu he milk conainer on he
main base, he ligh will be o.
4. Clean he produc and disks (2 and 10)
before using i for he irs ime in order o
remove any manufacuring residue.
NOTE: In he ineress of hygiene, you
should use a damp cloh o clean he
machine base and milk conainer before
saring he milk froher for he irs ime. Dry
everyhing horoughly.
NOTE: The milk conainer and he disks can
be also washed in he dishwasher.
FEATURES
This item is provided with 2 disks:
Frothing disk (2) for Hot Frothing nd
Cold Frothing.
Heaing disk (10) for Ho Chocolae and
Ho Milk.
The Milk Froher operaes wih 3 dieren
programs, below explained:
Program 1 - Ho Frohing and Heaing
(Red ligh)
Program 2 - Ho Chocolae (Whie ligh)
Program 3 - Cold Frohing (Blue ligh)
1. Afer plugging in he power supply, when
he cup is no on he main uni (being

2. When he cup is placed on he main uni,
he indicaor ligh urns o.
3. Press he buon once, he red indicaor
ligh will lash hree imes. The disk will sar
o roae. The uni sars o hea up, eners
he Ho Frohing program or he Heaing
program (depending on he disk). The red
indicaor ligh will remain on during work.
4. Press he buon wice, he whie
indicaor ligh will lash hree imes. The disk
will sar o roae. The uni sars o hea up,
eners he Ho Chocolae program, and he
whie indicaor ligh will remain on during
work.
5. Press he buon hree imes in
succession, he blue indicaor ligh will lash
hree imes. The disk will sar o roae. The
uni will ener he Cold Frohing program,
wihou heaing up, and he blue indicaor
ligh will remain on during work.
NOTE: Swiching from one program o
anoher mus be compleed wihin hree
seconds.
CAUTION: If you wan o prepare more
milk froh, le he milk froher cool down for
a few minues before furher use. As long
as he milk froher is ho, he hermosa
prevens i from being used. You can rinse
he inside of he milk froher wih cold waer
o accelerae he cooling process.

Connec he power cord plug o a suiable
power oule.
2. Open he lid and place he frohing disk
(2) ono he roaing shaf.
3. Fill he milk conainer in cold milk. The
milk level mus be beween he mark “MAX
” and “MIN”.
4. Pu he lid on irmly by pushing i down
slighly.
5. Place he milk conainer on he machine
base.
6. Press he buon once, he red indicaor
ligh will lash hree imes. The disk will sar
o roae. The uni sars o hea up and
eners he Ho Frohing program.
7. The emperaure of milk will reach
approx. 70°C and he produc will sop
operaing when ready.
8. Remove he milk conainer from he
machine base and open he lid.
9. Then pour he milk from he milk
conainer.
HEATING
MILK 1.
Connec he power plug o a suiable
power oule.
2. Open he lid place he heaing disk (10)
ono he roaing shaf.
3. Fill in milk. The milk level mus be
beween he mark “MAX” and “MIN”.

CHOCOLATE 1.
Connec he power cord plug o a suiable
power oule.
2. Open he lid and place he heaing disk
(10) ono he roaing shaf.
3. Fill he milk conainer in cold milk. The
milk level mus be beween he mark “MAX
” and “MIN”.
4. Add 3090 g of chocolae powder
according o personal preference of
chocolae lavour.
5. Pu he lid on irmly by pushing i down
slighly.
6. Place he milk conainer on he machine
base.

4. Pu he lid on irmly by pushing i down
slighly.
5. Place he milk conainer on he machine
base.
6. Press he buon hree imes in
succession, he blue indicaor ligh will lash
hree imes. The disk will sar o roae. The
uni will ener he Cold Frohing program,
wihou heaing up.
7. Remove he milk conainer from he
machine base and open he lid.

enough milk in he produc, as swiching he

CLEANING
AND CARE
NOTE: To reduce build-up of milk residue,
always empy any residual milk and clean
immediaely afer frohing is compleed.
Never leave liquid in he milk froher
overnigh.

Berühren Sie nich die heiße Oberläche der Heizplae.
Sellen Sie den Milchbehäler nich in eine Mikrowelle.
Sellen Sie den migelieferen Milchbehäler nur auf die
Heizplae.
Nur der Milchbehäler kann in den Geschirrspüler geräum
werden.
Sellen Sie sicher, dass die Heizplae und der Boden des
Milchbehälers während des Gebrauchs immer sauber sind.
Dieses Gerä ha einen polarisieren Secker (ein Konak is
breier als der andere). Um die Gefahr eines Sromschlags
zu verringern, solle dieser Secker nur in eine Richung in
eine polarisiere Seckdose passen. Wenn der Secker nich
vollsändig in die Seckdose pass, drehen Sie den Secker
um. Solle er immer noch nich passen, wenden Sie sich
an einen qualiizieren Elekriker. Versuchen Sie nich, den
Secker in irgendeiner Weise zu modiizieren.
