GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Work area safety
1. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluered or dark areas invite accidents.
2. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may
ignite the dust or fumes.
3. Keep children and bystanders away while operang a power tool. Distracons can cause you to lose control.
Electrical Safety
1. Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodied
plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
2. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your
body is earthed or grounded.
3. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet condions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
4. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
5. When operang a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric
shock.
6. If operang a power tool in a damp locaon is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric
shock.
Personal Safety
1. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operang a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are red or under the inuence
of drugs, alcohol or med-icaon. A moment of inaenon while operang power tools may result in serious personal injury.
2. Use personal protecve equipment. Always wear eye protecon. Protecve equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing
protecon used for appropriate condions will reduce personal injuries.
3. Prevent unintenonal starng. Ensure the switch is in the o-posion before connecng to power source and/or baery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.
Carrying power tools with your nger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
4.Remove any adjusng key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key le aached to a rotang part of the power tool may result in
personal injury.
5. Do not overreach. Keep proper foong and balance at all mes. This enables beer control of the power tool in unexpected situaons.
6. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
7. If devices are provided for the connecon of dust extracon and collecon facilies, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collecon
can reduce dust-related hazards.
8. Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles. A careless acon can cause severe
injury within a fracon of a second.
Power tool use and care
1. Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your applicaon. The correct power tool will do the job beer and safer at the rate for which
it was designed.
2. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and o. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be
repaired.
3. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or remove the baery pack, if detachable, from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing power tools. Such prevenve safety measures reduce the risk of starng the power tool accidentally.

4. Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instrucons to operate the power tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
5. Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, break- age of parts and any other condion that may aect the
power tool’s operaon. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
6. Keep cung tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cung tools with sharp cung edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
8. Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instrucons, taking into account the working condions and the work to be
performed. Use of the power tool for operaons dierent from those intended could result in a hazardous situaon.
7. Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control
of the tool in unexpected situaons. When using the tool, do not wear cloth work gloves which may be entangled. The entanglement of cloth work gloves in
the moving parts may result in personal injury.
8. Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and control
of the tool in unexpected situaons.
Baery tool use and care
1. Recharge only with the charger specied by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of baery pack may create a risk of re when used with
another baery pack.
2. Use power tools only with specically desig nated baery packs. Use of any other baery packs may create a risk of injury and re.
3. When baery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make
a connecon from one terminal to another. Shorng the baery terminals together may cause burns or a re.
4. Under abusive condions, liquid may be ejected from the baery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, ush with water. If liquid con- tacts eyes,
addionally seek medical help. Liquid baery may cause irritaon or burns.
5. Do not use a baery pack or tool that is damaged or modied. Damaged or modied baeries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulng in re, explosion
or risk of injury.
6. Do not expose a baery pack or tool to re or excessive temperature. Exposure to re or temperature above 130 °C may cause explosion.
7. Follow all charging instrucons and do not charge the baery pack or tool outside the temperature range specied in the instruc- ons. Charging improperly
or at temperatures outside the specied range may damage the baery and increase the risk of re.
Service
1. Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair person using only idencal replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is
maintained.
2. Never service damaged baery packs. Service of baery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.
3. Follow instrucons for lubricang and changing accessories.
4. Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
CORDLESS SCREW DRIVER SAFETY WARNINGS
1. Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an operaon where the fastener may contact hidden wiring. Fasteners contacng a
"live" wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool "live" and could give the operator an electric shock.
2. Always be sure you have a rm foong. Be sure no one is below when using the tool in highlocaons.
3. Hold the tool rmly.
4. Keep hands away from rotang parts.
5. Do not touch the bit or the workpiece immedi- ately aer operaon; they may be extremely hot and could burn your skin.
6.Always secure workpiece in a vise or similar hold-down device.

Safety instrucons for baery cartridge
1. Before using baery cartridge, read all instrucons and cauonary markings on (1) baery charger, (2) baery, and (3) product using baery.
2. Do not disassemble baery cartridge.
3. If operang me has become excessively shorter, stop operang immediately. It may result in a risk of overheang, possible burns and even an explosion.
4. If electrolyte gets into your eyes, rinse them out with clear water and seek medical aenon right away. It may result in loss of your eyesight.
5. Do not short the baery cartridge:
(1) Do not touch the terminals with any conducve material.
(2) Avoid storing baery cartridge in a container with other metal objects such as nails, coins, etc.
(3) Do not expose baery cartridge to water or rain.
A baery short can cause a large current ow, overheang, possible burns and even a breakdown.
6. Do not store the tool and baery cartridge in locaons where the temperature may reach or exceed 50 °C (122 °F).
7. Do not incinerate the baery cartridge even if it is severely damaged or is completely worn out. The baery cartridge can explode in a re.
8. Be careful not to drop or strike baery.
9. Do not use a damaged baery.
10. The contained lithium-ion baeries are subject to the Dangerous Goods Legislaon requirements. For commercial transports e.g. by third pares, forward-
ing agents, special requirement on pack-aging and labeling must be observed. For preparaon of the item being shipped, consult-ing an expert for hazardous
material is required. Please also observe possibly more detailed naonal regulaons. Tape or mask o open contacts and pack up the baery in such a manner
that it cannot move around in the packaging.
11. Follow your local regulaons relang to disposal of baery.
12. Use the batteries only with the appropriate BORMANN PRO products. Installing the batteries to non-compliant products may result in a fire, excesssive heat,
explosion, or leak of electrolyte.
Use only the respective genuine BORMANN PRO batteries. The use of inappropriate batteries, or batteries that have been altered, may result
in the battery bursting causing fires, personal injury and damage. It will also void the warranty for the said BORMANN PRO tool and charger.
Tips for maintaining maximum baery life
1. Charge the baery cartridge before completely discharged. Always stop tool operaon and charge the baery cartridge when you noce less tool power.
2. Never recharge a fully charged baery cartridge. Overcharging shortens the baery service life.
3. Charge the baery cartridge with room temperature at 5 °C - 45 °C. Let a hot baery cartridge cool down before charging it.
4. Charge the baery cartridge if you do not use it for a long period (more than six months).
Funconal descripon
Always be sure that the tool is switched o and the baery cartridge
is removed before adjusng or checking funcon on the tool.
Installing or removing baery cartridge
Always switch o the tool before
installing or removing of the baery cartridge.
Hold the tool and the baery cartridge rmly when installing or removing
baery cartridge. Failure to hold the tool and the baery cartridge rmly may cause
them to slip o your hands and result in damage to the tool and baery cartridge and
a personal injury.

To remove the baery cartridge, slide it from the tool while sliding
the buon on the front of the cartridge. To install the baery car-
tridge, align the tongue on the baery cartridge with the groove in
the housing and slip it into place. Insert it all the way unl it locks in
place with a lile click.
Always install the baery cartridge fully. If not, it may
accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone
around you.
Do not install the baery cartridge forcibly. If the
cartridge does not slide in easily, it is not being inserted correctly.

Before installing the baery cartridge into the tool, always check to see that the switch
the switch trigger actuates properly and returnds to the "OFF" posion when released.
Tool / baery protecon system
The tool is equipped with a tool/baery protecon system. This system automacally cuts o power to the motor to extend tool and baery life. The tool will
auto-macally stop during operaon if the tool or baery is placed under one of the following condions:
Overload protecon : when the baery is operated in a manner that causes it to draw an abnormally high current, the tool automacally stops without any
indicaon. In this situaon, turn the tool o and stop the applicaon that caused the tool to become overloaded. Then turn the tool on to restart.
Overheat protecon: when the tool or baery is overheated, the tool stops automacally. In this situaon, let the tool/baery cool before turning the tool on
again.
Overdischarge protecon: when the baery capacity becomes low, the tool stops automacally. If the product does not operate even when the switches are
operated, remove the baeries from the tool and charge the baeries.
Indicang the remaining baery capacity

Press the check buon on the baery cartridge to indicate the remaining baery capacity. The indicator lamps light o immediately when release the check
buon.
NOTE: Depending on the condions of use and the ambient temperature, the indicaon may dier slightly from the actual capacity.
Switch acon
WARNING:
To start the tool, simply pull the switch trigger. Tool speed is increased by increasing
pressure on the switch trigger. Release the switch trigger to stop. For connuous opera-
on, pull the switch trigger, push in the lock buon and then release the switch trigger.
To stop the tool from the locked posion, pull the switch trigger fully, then release it.
Switch can be locked in “ON” posion for ease of operator comfort during
extended use. Apply cauon when locking tool in “ON” posion and maintain rm grasp
on tool.
NOTE: Even with the switch on and motor running, the driver bit does not rotate.
Push the tool forward to engage the clutch.
NOTE: The tool automacally stops if the motor keeps rotang for about 6 minutes.

Lighng up the front lamp
Do not look in the light or see the source of light directly.
Pull the switch trigger to light up the lamp. The lamp keeps on lighng while the switch
trigger is being pulled. The lamp goes out immediately aer releasing the switch trigger.
NOTE: Use a dry cloth to wipe the dirt o the lens of the lamp. Be careful not to scratch
the lens of lamp, or it may lower the illuminaon.

-Always check the direcon of rotaon before operaon.
-Use the reversing switch only after the tool comes to a complete stop. Changing
the direction of rotation before the tool stops may damage thetool.
-When not operang the tool, always set the reversing switch lever to the neutral
posion.
This tool has a reversing switch to change the direc- on of rotaon. Move the reversing
switch lever to the position (A side) for clockwise rotation or to the position (B side) for
counterclockwise rotation. When the reversing switch lever is in the neutral position,
the switch trigger cannot be pulled.
Depth adjustment
The depth can be adjusted by turning the locator. Turn it in "B" direcon for less depth and
in "A" direcon for more depth. One full turn of the locator equals 2 mm (1/16") change
indepth.

Adjust the locator so that the distance between the p of the locator and the screw head
is approximately 3 mm (1/8") as shown in the gures. Drive a trial screw into your material
or a piece of duplicate material. If the depth is sll not suitable for the screw, connue
adjust- ing unl you obtain the proper depth seng.

Installing or removing driver bit/socket bit
ASSEMBLY
Always be sure that the tool is switched o and the baery cartridge is removed before carrying out any work on the tool.

1. To remove the driver bit, pull the locator, and then grasp the bit with a pair of pliers and pull the bit out of the magnec bit holder. To install the
driver bit, push it rmly into the magnec bit holder. Then install the locator by pushing it rmly back.
2. To install the driver bit, follow the removal procedure in reverse.
Installing or uninstalling the hook
W When installing the hook, always secure it with the screw rmly.
If not, the hook may come o from the tool and result in in personal injury.
The hook is convenient for temporarily
hanging the tool. This can be installed on
either side of the tool. To install the hook,
insert it into a groove in the tool housing
on either side and then secure it with a
screw. To remove, loosen the screw and
then take it out.

OPERATION
Screwdriving operaon
MAINTENANCE
- Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner alcohol or the like. Discoloraon, defor-
maon or cracks may result.
- Always be sure that the tool is switched o and the baery cartridge is re-
moved before aempng to perform inspecon or maintenance.
In order to maintain product safety and reliability, repairs, any other mainte-
nance or adjustment should be performed by Authorized or Factory Service
Centers, always using appropriate replacement parts.
Fit the screw on the point of the bit and place the point of the screw on the
surface of the workpiece to be fastened. Apply pressure to the tool and start
it. Withdraw the tool as soon as the clutch cuts in. Then release the switch
trigger.
- When ng the screw onto the point of the bit, be careful not to push in on
the screw. If the screw is pushed in, the clutch will engage and the screw will
rotate suddenly. This could damage a workpiece or cause aninjury.
- Make sure that the bit is inserted straight in the screw head, or the screw and/
or bit may bedamaged.
Handling and Storage
Care must be taken when handling this product. Dropping this power tool could have an eect on its accuracy and could also result in personal injury. This
product is not a toy and must be respected. Environmental condions can have a detrimental eect on this product if neglected. Exposure to damp air can
gradually corrode components. If the product is unprotected from dust and debris, components will become clogged. If not cleaned and maintained correctly
or regularly the machine will not perform at its best.
Disposal
At the end of the working life of this power tool or when it can no longer be repaired, ensure that it is disposed of
according to naonal regulaons.— Contact your local authority for details of collecon schemes in your area.
In all circumstances:
• DO NOT dispose of power tools along with domesc waste.
• DO NOT incinerate.
• DO NOT dispose of as unsorted municipal waste.
Warning!
• DO NOT mulate or put baery pack in re; cells may burst or release toxic materials (corrosive electrolyte).
• DO NOT short circuit cells, may cause burns.
• The baery pack must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
• The baery pack is to be disposed of safely.
• DO NOT dispose of baeries or cells in a charged condion.
Expired baeries must be recycled/disposed of in accordance with the appropriate regulaon or legislaon.

1. Να είστε σε εγρήγορση, να προσέχετε τι κάνετε και να χρησιμοποιείτε την κοινή λογική όταν χειρίζεστε ένα ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε
ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο όταν είστε κουρασμένοι ή υπό την επήρεια ναρκωτικών, αλκοόλ ή φαρμάκων. Μια στιγμή απροσεξίας κατά το χειρισμό ηλεκτρικών
εργαλείων μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε σοβαρό προσωπικό τραυματισμό.
2. Χρησιμοποιείτε ατομικό προστατευτικό εξοπλισμό. Φοράτε πάντα προστασία για τα μάτια. Ο προστατευτικός εξοπλισμός, όπως η μάσκα σκόνης, τα
αντιολισθητικά παπούτσια ασφαλείας, το σκληρό καπέλο ή η προστασία ακοής που χρησιμοποιούνται για τις κατάλληλες συνθήκες, θα μειώσουν τους
προσωπικούς τραυματισμούς.
3. Αποτρέψτε την ακούσια εκκίνηση. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι ο διακόπτης βρίσκεται στη θέση απενεργοποίησης πριν από τη σύνδεση με την πηγή ρεύματος ή/και τη
συστοιχία μπαταριών, τη λήψη ή τη μεταφορά του εργαλείου. Η μεταφορά ηλεκτρικών εργαλείων με το δάχτυλο στο διακόπτη ή η ενεργοποίηση ηλεκτρικών
εργαλείων που έχουν το διακόπτη ενεργοποιημένο προσκαλεί ατυχήματα.
4.Αφαιρέστε οποιοδήποτε κλειδί ρύθμισης ή κλειδί πριν ενεργοποιήσετε το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο. Ενα κλειδί ή ένα κλειδί που παραμένει συνδεδεμένο σε ένα
περιστρεφόμενο μέρος του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου μπορεί να προκαλέσει τραυματισμό.
5. Μην τεντώνεστε υπερβολικά κρατώντας το εργαλείο. Διατηρείτε πάντα σωστό βηματισμό και την ισορροπία σας. Αυτό επιτρέπει τον καλύτερο έλεγχο του
ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου σε απροσδόκητες καταστάσεις.
6. Να ντύνεστε σωστά. Μην φοράτε φαρδιά ρούχα ή κοσμήματα. Κρατήστε τα μαλλιά και τα ρούχα σας μακριά από τα κινούμενα μέρη. Τα χαλαρά ρούχα, τα
κοσμήματα ή τα μακριά μαλλιά μπορεί να πιαστούν στα κινούμενα μέρη.
7. Εάν παρέχονται συσκευές για τη σύνδεση εγκαταστάσεων αναρρόφησης και συλλογής σκόνης, βεβαιωθείτε ότι αυτές είναι συνδεδεμένες και
χρησιμοποιούνται σωστά. Η χρήση των συστημάτων συλλογής σκόνης μπορεί να μειώσει τους κινδύνους που σχετίζονται με τη σκόνη.
8. Μην αφήνετε την εξοικείωση που αποκτάτε από τη συχνή χρήση των εργαλείων να σας επιτρέψει να εφησυχάσετε και να αγνοήσετε τις αρχές ασφαλείας
των εργαλείων. Μια απρόσεκτη ενέργεια μπορεί να προκαλέσει σοβαρό τραυματισμό μέσα σε κλάσματα του δευτερολέπτου.
