Use and care of the power tool
Do not overload the power tool. Use the power tool appropriate for the selected applicaon. The right power tool will provide a beer and safer job if used
according to the designed load. Do not use the power tool, if the electric switch does not allow switching on and o. Power tool, which cannot be controlled
by means of a power switch is dangerous and must be returned for repair. Disconnect the plug from the power socket and / or remove the baery if it is de-
tachable from the power tool before adjusng, changing accessories or storing the tool. Such prevenve measures will allow you to avoid accidentally turning
on the power tool. Keep the tool out of the reach of children, do not let people who do not know how to operate the power tool or these instrucons use a
power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. Maintain power tools and accessories. Check the tool for mismatches or jams of moving
parts, damage to parts and any other condions that may aect the operaon of the power tool. Damage must be repaired before using the power tool. Many
accidents are caused by incorrectly maintained tools. Keep cung tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cung tools with sharp edges are less prone to
jamming and are easier to control when working. Use power tools, accessories and inserted tools etc. in accordance with these instrucons, taking into account
the type and condions of work. The use of tools for work other than designed is likely to result in a dangerous situaon. Handles and gripping surfaces must be
dry, clean and free from oil and grease. Slippery handles and gripping surfaces do not allow for safe operaon and control of the tool in dangerous situaons.
Repairs
Repair the power tool only in authorized facilies using only original spare parts. This ensures proper operaon safety of the power tool.
Operaon of the tool
Mounng the inserted tool
Aenon! The steps described in this chapter should be carried out only when the power supply is a disconnected. Pull the plug of tool out from the socket!
During installaon of the inserted tool equipped with sharp edges, be careful and use personal protecve equipment, in parcular protecve gloves. Li, and
then turn for 180 degrees the lever of the quick installaon mechanism (Il). Install the inserted tool which is designed for the selected type of work. Mount
the inserted tool holder on the spindle handle so that the work was as easy as possible, yet safe. Aenon! It is prohibited to assembly at the place, where the
working part of the inserted tool (blade) would be directed towards the tool operator. Make sure, that the holes of the tool are inserted in line with the pins of
the handle spindle (III). Aenon! It is prohibited to mount the tool of the place where the inserted tool will be mounted with less than two pins. Aenon! It
is possible to install the inserted tools with open or closed mount. The lever of mechanism for rapid installaon is equipped with protecon, which protects the
operator's ngers against being trapped by the descending lever. Before you completely lower the lever you should move the protecon to the posion which is
enabling to close the lever (IV). Turn the lever of the quick installaon mechanisms for 180 degrees, allowing the inserted tool to be mounted int spindle handle.
Push the lever of the quick installaon, so as to protect it from accidental opening during its operaon (IV).
Aenon! Adapter for grinding may be provided with a pad located in the mounng hole, before mounng adapter for grinding, the pad should be removed
from the opening, for example by a small screwdriver.
Mounng the abrasive sheet (V)
When you select as an inserted tool the adapter for grinding, before starng the work you need to install on it sanding sheet. The is equipped with a velcro
pad, to which the sanding sheet should be aached in such a way so the edges of the sheet would covered with the adapter edges. For adapters which are
equipped with holes for dust extracon, you should apply sanding sheets with holes. While aaching the sheet to adapter, you should ensure that the holes in
sheet would cover the holes in adapter.
Dust extracon (VII)
The tool is equipped with the aached dust extracon system. Dust extracon fullls its role only in the case of work performed with the grinding adapter. The
dust extracon should be installed before installing the grinding adapter. The front part of the exhaust should be translated through the spindle so, the catches
would be blocked on the protrusions of tool housing. The rear part of the dust extracon should be secured with clamp engaging at the boom row of the rear
air vents. Dust extracon outlet should be connected to an external dust extracon system. In the case of using an external installaon of dust extracon you
should follow the instrucons supplied with these installaons.
Installaon of the auxiliary handle (VIII)
The tool enables for a two-handed grip, even without mounted auxiliary handle, but where the handle will not interfere with the work, e.g. due to lack of space,
it should be installed by rm screwing to the hole in the housing on the le or right side.
Preparaon for work
Remove the plug of the power supply cable from the socket. Before any work with the tool, it is required to make sure the housing and the connecon cord with
plug are not damaged. In case any damage is detected, it is prohibited to connect the tool to the mains! Insert the inseron tool designed for the given kind
of work. Wear eye and hearing protectors and working gloves. Make sure the switch is ,OFF”, and then insert the plug of the power supply cable to the mains
socket. Adopt an adequate posion, which guarantees stability during work and turn the tool on using the switch.
Using the tool
Commence work applying the inseron tool to the material to be processed. During work do not exert excessive pressure against the material being processed
and do not make sudden movements, so as to avoid any damage to the inseron tool or the abrasive sheet.Due to the level of vibraon noise and dust generat-
ed by the tool, it is necessary to make regular breaks during work. Avoid overloading the tool, the temperature of the external surfaces at any me must not ex-
ceed 60°C. Always use individual protecon means: working gloves, safety goggles and hearing protecon. Remove accumulated dust from the abrasive sheet
from me to me. In order to do so turn the tool o and slightly tap the foot of the grinder. Do not process dierent materials using the same abrasive sheet!
Once the work has concluded turn the tool o, remove the plug of the power supply cable from the mains socket and realise maintenance and inspecon of
the tool.
