M NTAGEHANDLEIDING:
Algemeen: Het is van het grootste belang dat de aanlegvlakken van de
trekhaak met het voertuig ontdaan worden van kit. Het kit kan eenvou-
dig d.m.v. een plamuurmes verwijderd worden nadat het met een verfs-
tripper of föhn verwarmd is. Tijdens trekhaakmontage alle verbindingen
handvast zetten. Na volledige montage dient men “conform de handlei-
ding” de verbindingen overeenkomstig de tabel vast te draaien.
1. Verwijder de afdekplaat. Plaats de bevestigingsprofielen A en B, met
tussenvoeging van vul strippen C, tegen het achterpaneel (dwarschas-
sis) en zet deze t.p.v. punten D met vier bouten M8x30 inclusief veer-
en sluitring handvast. Plaats bevestigingsplaten E en F en bevestig,
overeenkomstig schets, t.p.v. punten G d.m.v. twee bouten
M10x110inclusief afstandsbussen (ø17,2x2,9 L=71,5mm), contrapla-
ten, sluit- en veerringen handvast.
2. Bevestig t.p.v. de punten H vier bouten M10x30 inclusief sluit-, veerrin-
gen en moeren handvast. Plaats de dwarsbalk en bevestig deze over-
eenkomstig schets t.p.v. de punten d.m.v. vier bouten M12x35 inclu-
sief veerringen en moeren. Plaats de kogelstang tussen de kogelbe-
vestigingsplaten en bevestig deze d.m.v. twee bouten M12x70/26,2
inclusief stekkerplaat, sluitringen en zelfborgende moeren.
3. Draai “na uitrichten van de trekhaak” alle bouten en moeren overeen-
komstig de tabel vast. Alvorens men het bevestigingsmateriaal “over-
eenkomstig de tabel” aandraaid, dient men zich er van te overtuigen,
dat er nergens ruimte tussen de trekhaak en het chassis aanwezig is.
Draai eerst de verbindingen t.p.v. de punten D overeenkomstig de tabel
vast. Draai vervolgens de overige verbingen overeenkomstig de tabel
vast. Herplaats de afdekplaat.
Raadpleeg voor montage en bevestigingsmiddelen de schets.

BELANGRIJK:
* Voor eventueel noodzakelijke aanpassing(en) “van het voertuig” dient
men de dealer te raadplegen.
* ndien op de bevestigingspunten een bitumen of anti-dreunlaag aanwe-
zig is, dient deze verwijderd te worden.
* Vergeet de veer- en sluitringen niet.
* Kwaliteit bouten 8.8 ; moeren 8, of indien anders vermeld in montage-
handleiding 10.9 / 10.
* Voor het max. trekgewicht en de max. toegestane kogeldruk van uw
voertuig, dient u uw dealer te raadplegen.
* Het is aan te bevelen om na ca. 1000 km (gebruik) de boutverbindingen
volgens tabel na te trekken of te controleren.
* Bij het boren dient men er zorg voor te dragen, dat rem- en brandstof-
leidingen niet worden geraakt.
* Verwijder "indien aanwezig" de plastik dopjes uit de puntlasmoeren.

FITTING INSTRUCTI NS:
General: t is very important that the points of contact between the tow
bar and the vehicle are cleaned of any glue residue. After either war-
ming the spots with a blow dryer or applying a paint stripper, the glue
can easily be removed using a putty knife. While fitting the tow bar
assembly, tighten all connectors only finger-tight. Only after assembly is
complete, should you tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indicated in
the manual.
1. Remove the cover plate. Position the fixing brackets A and B, along with
spacer strips C, against the back panel (cross chassis) and fasten them
finger-tight at points D using four M8x30 bolts including spring washers
and flat washers. Position fixing brackets E and F and fasten them fin-
ger-tight at points G (as indicated in the drawing) using two M10x110
bolts, including spacers (ø17.2x2.9 L=71.5mm), back plates, flat was-
hers, and spring washers.
2. At points H, attach four M10x30 bolts finger-tight including spring was-
hers, flat washers and nuts. Position the cross member and fasten it as
indicated in the drawing at points using four M12x35 bolts including
spring washers and nuts. Place the ball hitch between the ball plates
and attach it using two M12x70/26.2 bolts including socket plate, flat
washers, and self-locking nuts.
3. After aligning the tow bar, tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indica-
ted in the table. Before tightening the fastening materials to the torque
indicated in the table, you must make sure that the tow bar is flush with
the chassis. First tighten the fasteners at points D to the torque indica
ted in the table. Tighten the remaining fasteners to the torque indicated
in the table. Reattach the cover plate.

* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting
points.
* All bolts are quality 8.8 - nuts 8. or when mentioned in fitting instructions
10.9 / 10.
* Don't forget the spring- and plain washers.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball
hitch pressure of your vehicle.
* t is recommendable to retighten all fixing bolts and nuts after the towbar
has been in use for some 1000 km/600 miles.
* Do not drill through brake-or fuellines.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
