and durability. This manual will help you to get the maximum benet from your CAS scale. Please read it
carefully before use and keep it handy during subsequent use to nd quick solutions to problems.

1. NOTES ON COMMISSIONING AND INSTALLATION
Make sure you use the correct mains voltage. To obtain optimum performance,
switch on the scale 30 minutes before starting work to warm it up.
Do not disassemble the scale! When
any damage or defect occurs, contact
your CAS authorized dealer
immediately for proper repair.
Do not pull by its cord when
unplugging. Damaged cord could cause
electric shock or re.
Avoid placing the scale near heater or
in direct sunlight.
Insert plug rmly to wall outlet to prevent
electric shock.
Use proper adapter. Incorrect adapter
could damage the scale.
For consistent and accurate reading
maintain periodical check by your CAS
authorized dealer.
Avoid sudden shock to the scale. Grab on the bottom of the scale when
moving.
Always remove the batteries from the
scale if it is not going to be used for a
long time. This prevents damage due to
possible leakage.
Keep the scale away from other
electromagnetic enerating devices.
This may interfere with accurate
reading.
Place the scale on rm and temperature
consistent environment.
By adjusting 4 corners of the scale, set
the scale even using the built in scale
levelling indicator.
To prevent from re occurring, do not place
or use the scale near ammable or
corrosive gas.
To reduce electric shock or incorrect
reading, do not spill water on the scale
or place it in human condition.
Do not overload beyond the maximum
weight limit.
Scale must be grounded to minimize
electricity static. This will minimize
defect or electric shock.
Only use batteries approved by CAS! There
is a risk of explosion with incorrect
batteries or rechargeable batteries.

■Column installation (Typ PR-II P)
1. Slide the rod into the holder. 2. Screw the two fastening
screws into the bracket. Make sure,
that the cable is not pinched.

–Used to enter all the numeric data

4. BASIC OPERATIONS
■Turn on
• Turn on the [ON/OFF] switch (below the scale) Then, the display will show all the
segments and count up „9“ to „0“.
• Once the weight is stable, the „ “ is displayed.
■Zero tracking (manual)
During operation, deviations in the zero position may occur due to various inuences such as temperature
uctuations or similar. By pressing the key, the current load is adopted as the zero position.
■Simple weighing
1. Place the goods on the platform. The weight is
displayed at the top left.
2. Remove the goods from the platform.

■Tare function
Tare means the weight of container. You may use tare function when you weigh an item with container
and measure only the weight of item.
• One time tare
1. Place a container on the platter. EX)200g of tare.
2. Press
Tare key to set zero point.
• Successive tare
3. Place another container on the platter. EX: 100g of
tare.
4. Press TARE key to set zero point.
5. After weighing item remove all of the container from
the platter. EX: 300g Tara
6. Press TARE key again to set zero.
➜ NOTICE: To remove TARE funtion press “TARE” Key again after removing the container from the palt-
ter. Automatic tare clearing function may not be applied to all of PR series..

■PLU Saving & Calling-up
This section explains how to save unit price in PLU.
• Saving unit price on PLU
1. Use the number keys to enter the desired price per kilo.
EX) 199€
2. Now press and hold the PLU button you want to save
for 5 seconds. A beep conrms that the key has been
saved.EX) M1
• PLU call up
3. Press the respective PLU key to , until to call up
the item. EX) M1
The deposited price is displayed at the top right.
4. Press
key to clear PLU mode and return to the
normal weighing mode.

• Input the unit price through the numeric key
1. Place an item on the platter and press appropriate
numeric keys to input unit price.
EX) 199 for unit price.
2. Remove the item from the platter.
3. Press
key to clear and return to the normal
weighing mode.

on the scale in the second step.

5. BATTERY MAINTANCE
■Low battery warning
• This product is a combination product dry battery and rechargeable battery.
• When the battery is low the display shows the „bAt-Lo„ sign. You need to replace the battery with a
new one. If you use a rechargeable battery, please charge it immediately, otherwise you can shorten
the life of the battery. If you still use the scale without replacing the battery the scale may provide
incorrect result on measurement.
• If the display shows „Err b“, the battery must be changed or charged, otherwise incorrect weighing
results may be delivered.
6. ERROR MASSAGE
Display Description Solution
Z-Err
The „Z-Err“ occurs when a current zero point has
shifted from the last span calibration.
Please call your CAS dealer.
Err 3
The Err 3 („oL“) is an overload error. Please remove the weight.
Err b
The Err b („bAt-Lo“) is battery low Please change new battery. If rechargeable
battery, please charge immediately.
