This appliance is not intended to be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance
in a safe way by a person responsible for their safety, and
understand the hazards involved.
Supervise young children to make sure that they do not play
with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when the
appliance is being used by or near children.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under
the age of 8.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while in use. Unplug it
from the mains supply when you nish using it or when you
leave the room.
Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself. Contact the
ofcial Technical Support Service of Cecotec for advice.
Turn off and unplug from wall outlet when not in use, when
moving the appliance from one location to another or before
assembling or disassembling parts. To avoid a tripping hazard,
safely coil the cable.
Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out according to
this instruction manual to make sure the appliance functions
properly. Turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
Cleaning and maintenance tasks must not be carried out by
children.
Store the appliance and its instruction manual in a safe and dry
place when not in use.
Do not expose people, specially babies and elders, to a
continuous stream of cold air.
Make sure the fan is not placed near drapes, curtains, or any
objects that may be drawn into the fan.
Do not coil the cord under carpets and do not cover it with
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance.
Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
All safety instructions should be closely followed when using
the appliance.
Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated
on the rating label of the appliance.
Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part
of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the
electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry
before handling the plug or turning on the appliance.
WARNING: if the appliance falls accidentally in water, unplug it
immediately. Do not reach into the water!
Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the ofcial Technical Support
Service of Cecotec, in order to avoid any type of danger.
Do not pull or carry the appliance by the cord. Do not use the
cord as a handle. Do not pull the cord along sharp edges or
corners. Do not coil the appliance over the cord. Keep the cord
away from hot surfaces.
WARNING: do not use the appliance if its cord, plug, or housing
is damaged, nor after it malfunctions or has been dropped or
damaged in any way.
Do not use the appliance in conned spaces with explosive or
toxic vapours.
Keep your fan away from heat sources.
Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers, and other parts of the body
away from the openings and moving parts of the appliance.
The appliance is not intended to be used by children under the
age of 8. It can be used by children over the age of 8, as long as
they are given continuous supervision.

3. BEFORE USE
The fan is packaged with its grills unattached. You must attach the grills before operating the
fan.
Warning: Never operate the fan without its base and its other parts.
The fan must only operate in an up-right position. Any other position will be hazardous.
Unpack the fan and remove all parts from the package.
4. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
Remove the security screw from the tripod holder. Use a screwdriver to install the wooden legs
on the tripod holder. Screw down the security screw through the holes on the support rods and
the tripod holder and then screw down the screw to the main nut. Each leg has a screw and a
main nut.
Install the support rods with the butteries. Place the 3 support rods in the middle leg and then
screw it down to the buttery and nut.
Install the fan’s main body on top of the standing base. Make sure they are in the correct
position.
Attach the motor housing to the rear fan grill. To do so, remove the 4 screws from the motor
housing, attach the rear fan grill to it and then x the 4 screws back.
Install the blade on the motor shaft and tighten it using the fan blade security screw.
Attach the front fan grill to the rear fan grill and tighten it with the xing tab. Then, x the fan
grills security screw.

5. OPERATION
The fan can be controlled through the control panel or the remote control.
Press ( ) to turn the device on and to adjust the speed.
The fan has 3 speed settings:
1- Lowest speed
2- Medium speed
3- Top speed
Press ( ) to turn the device off.
Press ( ) on the remote control to change the operation mode: night, eco, normal.
Press the timer button ( ) to set the shutdown time: from 0.5 to 7.5 hours, at 0.5 intervals.
The fan can operate in oscillating or stationary mode. Press the oscillation switch knob to
activate the oscillating mode, located in the back of the fan (motor).
In order to install the panel control, rst slacken the metallic tube’s screw. Then, place the
control panel on the standing base so the plastic part matches the opening of the standing
throw rugs, runners or similar. Clear up the cord away from
transit areas and where it will not be tripped over.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children and animals, they
could be dangerous if swallowed. In case of being ingested,
contact immediately with a doctor.
If any damage, crack or defect is observed, avoid handling it
or touching it directly with skin, eyes or mucous membranes.
If uid leaked from the batteries or battery pack enters into
contact with eyes, immediately wash the affected area with
abundant water. Immediately contact a doctor.

9. TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof
of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given
proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
The warranty will not cover the following situations:
• The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten,
exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault
attributable to the customer.
• The product has been disassembled, modied, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the
ofcial Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
• Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based
on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not
apply.

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
To safely take care of your fan, please remember to follow these instructions below:
Always remove the plug from the socket-outlet and allow the fan to stop completely before
cleaning the fan.
Do not allow water to drip on or entering into the fan housing.
Always use a soft cloth, moistened with a mild soap solution.
Do not use any of the following agents as a cleaner: Gasoline, thinners, or benzene.
In case of malfunction or doubt of the correct functioning of the appliance, do not try to repair
the fan yourself: it may result in a re hazard or electric shock.
Please check and secure the base of the fan properly periodically.
Do not immerse the appliance in any liquid.
WARNING: In order to reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not use the appliance along
with an electronic timer.

8. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE),

unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in order to optimize
the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the
impact on human health and the environment.

obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly. If the product has a built-in
battery or uses batteries, they should be removed from the appliance and
disposed of appropriately.
