code. Change the factory code before you
start using the safe!!!
Manual DRS Combi Fire private safes
The lock operates with a numeric six-digit code or word
with 6 letters. A secondary code can be added. Each key
press is confirmed with an audio and light signal. After
entry of a valid code a double signal follows. An invalid
entry is followed bij a long signal. After 10 seconds without
entry the already entered part of the code is cancelled.
To open
Enter code: i.e. 1-2-3-4-5-6 (factory code); unlock door
and open. If not opened witin 3 seconds, the lock secures
automatically.
EM 2020
First time to open the safe Activate second opening code
Change code (Keep the safe door open!)
Press and hold the “3” key until you hear a double signal.
The light remains on during the following actions.
• Enter your manager code. You’ll hear a double signal
The secondary code is deleted.
Delete the secondary code
Press and hold the “0”key until you hear a double signal. The
light remains on during the following actions.
• Enter your manager code (see the previous step)
You’ll hear a double signal
(Pay attention! The code underneath is an example)
• Enter the new code. You’ll hear a double signal
• Repeat the new code. You’ll hear a double signal
(Pay attention! The code underneath is an example)
In case of entry errors you’ll hear a long signal.
The second code can be changed like the Manager code. With the
managercode the secondary code can be deleted. This is not possible
the other way round.
Press and hold the “0”key until you hear a double signal.
The light remains on during the following actions.
• Enter the old code. You’ll hear a double signal
(Pay attention! The code underneath is an example)
• Enter the new code. You’ll hear a double signal
Repeat the new code. You’ll hear a double signal
(Pay attention! The code underneath is an example)
• In case of entry errors you’ll hear a long signal.
The old code will remains valid.

Setting the time delay and opening window time Continuation: open with time delay
You can only change or delete the delay seng during the open
window me.
Enter a valid code. After the delay period the opening window
will start. The light flashes 1x a second and beeps.
• Press and hold “9” until a double signal sounds. The
light will illuminate when performing the following
actions.
• Enter your manager code (see the previous step) You’ll
hear a double signal
(Pay attention! The code underneath is an example)
• You can delete the delay and opening window by
entering 00 for the delay setting and 01 for the
opening window time.
• Enter the delay setting and opening window again to
delete the setting.
Time delay: The time between the first and second code
entry in minutes.
Open window time: The period of time in minutes during
which the code can be entered a second time and the lock
can be opened.
Changing or deleting the time delay values can only
be done in open window time.
Press and hold ‘9’ until a double signal sounds. The LED
will illuminate when performing the following actions:
• Enter your manager code
You’ll hear a double signal
• Enter the delay setting and opening window time.
Time delay
min. 01 - max. 99 minutes.
Open window time
min. 01 - max. 99 minutes.
In this example: 2602 for a delay of 26 minutes
and a opening window time of 2 minutes.

Open with time delay
Deleting the delay setting
Enter the code (i.e. 1-1-1-1-1-1), after entering a right
code, a double signal sounds an time delay starts. Durin
time delay expires the light flashes every 10 seconds. After
time delay has elapsed a double signal sounds and the
open window starts,
During the open window the light flashes and the lock
beeps every second. To open the lock a valid code has to
be entered again during the open window. After entering a
right code a double signal sounds. You can unlock the door.
If the lock is not open within 3 seconds the lock will auto-
matically lock again. If the open window expires without
entering a valid code the lock is secured again with time
delay.
If the lock is set to dual combo one valid code starts time
delay. During the open window two valid codes have to be
entered to open the lock.
Press a random key to break off time delay.
If the lock emits a series of audible tones when opened,
the battery is almost exhausted and must be replaced
immediately.
You may only use (v Alkaline Duracell, Duracell industrial or
energizer alkaline batteries.
Battery compartment in entry unit:
Open the battery compartment and replace the battery by
a new one.
How can I solve a malfunction? What if...
The lock doesn’t react
With an malfunction of the lock the first thing you’ve got
to do is replace the batteries with a new 9V alkaline bat-
tery (Duracall or energizer).
If the lock doesn’t respond after the replacemnt of the
batteries, please contact your supplier.
The following will help to check if the keypad work
correctly:
Check the keypad
If the lock doesn’t react you’ve to follow the precedure
below to check the keypad is working,
Press and hold “5” until a double signal sounds. Than
press all the keys one by one.
If the key is “OK” a double signal will sound. If the key
“isn’t OK“ a long signal will sound. The test will be
aborted. If one or more keys don’t operate properly,
please contact your supplier.
The lock doesn’t emit any audible tones at all
The lock doesn’t emit any audible tone when you press any
key. The battery is exhausted and needs to be replaced.
You’ve forgotten the code
For safety reasons the code you’ve been using will not be
stored. That means you’ve have to store the code by your-
self or contact your supplier to open the safe.
The lock is difficult to move or open
The problem will not be with the lock itself but with the
mechanisme inside the safe door. This manual only relates
toe he lock and not the complete safe. Please contact the
manufacturer of the safe to resolve this problem
...a long signal sounds after you press the last digit of your
code and the lock will not open?
You’ve inserted the wrong code. Please try again.
… the light flashes every 10 seconds and if you press a key a
long signal will sound?
The code is wrongfully inserted for 4 times and the lock is
blocked. You’ve to wait for 5 minutes and you may try again.
When you enter the wrong code twice the lock will be
blocked again.
… no audible signal sounds after you pres a key?
You’ve got to replace the batteries. If the problem isn’t sol-
ved please advise your supplier.
...the lock opens but after you’ve pressed the last digt of the
code a serie of audible signals sounds?
Replace the batteries immediately.
You’ll find the battery compartment underneathe the
electronic lock.
