3) Suction will start as soon as the Diamond Tip gets in touch with the skin and will stop
immediately when your finger is lifted from the hole on the top of the vacuum regulator.
This allows the operator to exert proper treatment control.
If you detect any abnormality, please contact the technical department of your local
distributor or nearest ECLERIS office.
5.2. DIAMOND TIP
The kit includes different diamond tips. Combining diamond tips of different diameters (50, 75,
100, 150 and 200 microns) along with variations of vacuum intensity and quantity of applications,
a high control of microdermabrasion depth or intensity is achieved. Suction compresses the skin
on the diamonds and their movement on the epidermis produces a soft, controlled and even
exfoliation. At the same time, released cells are suctioned and kept in the collecting receptacle,
keeping the procedure free of contamination.
5.3. PRE-TREATMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
Apply with your fingers a small quantity of cleansing cream or gel giving a circular massage.
Clean the area with a warm, damp towel or a damp facial sponge. Dry.
Treatment planning: There are 3 parameters that can be regulated to decide on the exfoliation
depth that should be planned before starting the procedure:
a. Tip size.
b. Vacuum intensity.
c. Quantity of applications per area.
Start with the finest tip and with low vacuum pressure.
Once the three parameters have been decided, regulate vacuum intensity. Vacuum pressure
controls the skin pressure on the diamond tips. 50 and 75 micron tips and a very low initial
pressure, gradually increased if a higher exfoliation depth is desired are suggested for
rejuvenation. 100 micron tips and higher pressure are recommended for deep scars.
If a larger-diameter diamond tip is needed during treatment, remember to decrease vacuum
intensity when you start using it.
5.4. TREATMENT
Softly apply the tip on the skin. Several applications on the same region are possible, depending
on the desired depth of exfoliation. The result is an accurate, even, soft, safe, and discreet
exfoliation. For a facial treatment, divide the face in 4 sections:
FOREHEAD: move the tip vertically from the eyebrow to the beginning of the scalp. Then
move it horizontally. Repeat until the desired exfoliation is achieved.
MIDDLE REGION (nose, cheeks, and upper lip): start from outer side to inner side with
vertical movements, crossing them with horizontal movements. Work on the nose
vertically, and on the upper lip horizontally. For the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles,
make vertical applications crossing them with horizontal ones. Do not touch the lip itself.
CHIN (lower lip and jaw): apply vertically from the lip to the chin, and then apply
horizontally.
PERIORBITARY: it is usually the last region to be treated, and it is strongly recommended
NOT to use vacuum, just apply the tip softly on the surrounding area of the eye. Never
treat inside the ocular cavity or upper eyelid.
