Action #1: Replace the 12-V battery in the transmitter by following
Operation instruction #3.
Action #2: Replace the 2 AA batteries in the receiver by following
Operation instruction #2.
Action #3: Make sure that the connection to the toy/device is very
tight. There should be NO gaps. Make sure that you are using a
MONO adapter, if applicable.
Action #4: Try using your toy/device with a different switch in order
to rule out the toy/device as the source of the problem. You may need
to change the batteries in the toy/device.

Our exclusive Ultimate Switch is THE most universal and versatile
switch on the market. We’ve now made it wireless! It’s designed to be
used by even the most profoundly challenged or neurologically
impaired individuals. It requires only a slight touch to activate (10
grams of force), yet can withstand the abuse of gross body movements.
This cordless switch transmits 20 feet through the air by radio waves.
Comes complete with 19" gooseneck, universal clamp, transmitter and
receiver. Requires 1 12-V and 2 AA Batteries.
Operation:
1. The Wireless Ultimate Switch requires 2 AA batteries and one
12-V (not included) (Model 23A battery) RadioShack part No.
23-144 Use alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer
brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of
batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit will
not perform properly. Never mix old and new batteries together
or different brands or types together.
2. Lift and then slide the battery compartment cover off of the
receiver and install 2 AA batteries according to proper polarity.
Slide the cover back on. Please Note: The On/Off/Chime
switch has been locked in position for this device. Do not move
or force the switch.
3. To install the battery in the transmitter, which is located on the
gooseneck’s mounting clamp slide the battery cover off, the
use of a coin or flathead screwdriver may be needed. Install the
12-V battery (- spring side first) according to proper polarity
and replace the cover.
4. Plug the receiver unit into your toy/device. Make sure that the
connection is tight. There should be NO gaps. If you use an
adapter for devices with ¼ inch jacks, make sure that it is a
MONO adapter, not stereo.
5. Mount the Ultimate Switch in the desired location/position
using the universal clamp and rubber-reinforced gooseneck.
Please Note: The effective range of this device is 15 ft.; under
ideal conditions you may get up to 20 ft.
6. Actuate the Ultimate switch in order to turn on your toy/device.
You can also bypass the ultimate switch and directly use the
small white button right on the transmitter box to turn on your
toy/device.
7. Your toy/device will only remain activated while you hold the
Ultimate switch in the actuated position. Once you release
pressure on the Ultimate switch (or on the white button), the
toy/device will turn off.
NOTE: Use caution when not using the Wireless Ultimate Switch
or when storing it. Make sure that the toggle element (the actual
switch mechanism) is not actuated, therefore leaving the switch
on... If it does remain actuated, the 12-V battery will die.
