• Thisproductisonlysuitableforconnectiontoa240V~50HzsupplyinaccordancewithcurrentIEEwiring
regulations,andshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewithlocalBuildingRegulations.Theyarefordomestic,indoor
ceilinguseonly,andarenotsuitableforaBathroomlocation.
• Thelightttingshouldbeconnectedtoalightingcircuitprotectedbya5ampfuse(ora6ampminiaturecircuit
breaker).
• Beforeinstallingyourlightttingalwaysswitcho󰀨themainssupply,andremovetheappropriatefuseorswitch
o󰀨theappropriatecircuitbreakerbeforecommencinginstallation.Ensurethatnooneelsehasaccessthat
wouldenablethesupplytobeinadvertentlyreconnected.
• This is a Class 1 product and must be Earthed.Theterminalblocksaresuppliedaccordingtorequirements
ofthetting.
• Nevertbulbsofahigherwattagethanthosespeciedonthelabel,asthesemaycauseoverheatingand
damagethetting.
• Thisproductissuitablefordimmingwhenusedwithdimmablebulbs.
• Ifyouareinanydoubtaboutyourcompetencepleaseconsultaqualiedelectrician.
• Ifanymodicationismadeitwillinvalidatethewarrantyandmayrendertheproductunsafe.

Electricdrillandassorteddrillbits.
Wirestrippers.
Theseassemblydiagramsoverleafareintendedasaguide–ifindoubtconsultaqualied
electrician.
Before you start
Care Information
Allow10minutestocoolbeforereplacing,adjustingorcleaning.
Cleanwithadryclothonly.Donotuseliquidorabrasivecleanersonthisproduct.
1. Decideonthepositionofthelighttting/orremoveexistinglighttting.Takeanoteofthepositionofthe
electricalconnections.Ensurethereisasolidmountingsurface,preferablyawoodenjoistorjoistbridgeto
supporttheweightofthelighttting.
2. Loosenthenials(A)andremovethexingbracket(B)fromthetting.Usingthescrewsandwallplugs(C)
suppliedinthexingpack,securethexingstraptotheceiling,takingcaretoavoiddamaginganyconcealed
wiring.
3. Supportyourttingandconnectthehousewiringtotheterminalblocks(D)–seeexpandedwiringdetails
below.NOTE: This is a Class I product and must be earthed.
4. Securetheproducttothexingbracket(B)bylocatingthexingbolts(E)throughtheholesintheceiling
coverandrettingthenials(A)setasideearlier.
