These instructions are intended to help you to use your ETHER-
MA quality product as effectively as possible. They provide
important information on safety, installation, use and main-
tenance of the device. Therefore, please read the information
provided in these instructions carefully and keep for reference
in the event of questions on a later occasion.
The manufacturer shall not be held liable if these instructions
are not complied with. Products may not be used improperly
i.e. for purposes other than the intended use.
The packaging of your high-quality ETHERMA product is made
from recyclable materials.
INTRODUCTION
IMPORTANT SAFETY AND INSTALLATION INFORMATION
These instructions must
› be given to the operator following installation. The operator
must also be instructed on the electrical convector's func-
tionality.

General
ETHERMA electrical convectors are versatile direct heating
devices. They are characterised, in particular, by their elegant
form, ease of operation, high-performance heating and reli-
ability. The convectors are tted with operating switches and
temperature controllers and are therefore also suitable for use
as frost-protection devices. Please read the information pro-
vided in these instructions carefully. The manufacturer shall
not be held liable if these instructions are not complied with.
Devices may not be used improperly i.e. for purposes other
than the intended use.
Your high-quality ETHERMA device contains no more packag-
ing than is absolutely essential, and packaging is made entirely
from recyclable materials. Packaging and device components
are labelled appropriately within the context of present regu-
lations/options, so that they can be recycled separately or dis-
posed of properly at a later date.
Attention: Properly dispose of packaging material, parts re-
placed in future and old devices or parts for scrappage.
Important notes
› ETHERMA electrical convectors comply with relevant safety
requirements.
› Repair and service works may be performed by qualied
personnel only.
› Comply with country-specic safety regulations.
› Comply with local safety precautions.
› When installing in a bathroom, install the device so that
switches or other operating elements cannot be touched by
persons in a bathtub or shower.
› Do not cover the device (re hazard).
› The device cannot be disconnected from the mains with the
temperature controller.
› Comply with the minimum distances specied.
› If children or persons with limited physical, sensory or men-
tal capacity operate the device, ensure that they do so under
supervision or following appropriate instruction by a person
charged with ensuring their safety.
› Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they
do not play with the device.
