
These instructions are important for the safety, installation, use
and maintenance of the appliances. Please read the information
in these instructions carefully and keep the instructions to refer
to later.
The manufacturer is not liable if the following instructions are
not followed. The appliances must not be misused, i.e. contrary
to their intended use.
The packaging of your high-quality infrared heater is made of
recyclable materials.
This heater is not intended to be used by persons (including chil-
dren) with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge. Unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety or receive instructions
from then on how to use the appliance. Children should be su-
pervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Overheating or overload protection
Each radiator has overheating protection, which triggers in case
of overheating. The appliance restarts automatically after it has
cooled to below 45°C.
These instructions must
• be handed over to the owner/operator after installation. In
addition, the owner/operator must be instructed in how the
- radiation-type heating appliance works.
• be kept carefully and handed over to the new owner in case
of a change in owner.
This appliance can be used by children of 8 years of age and
older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacity or lack of experience and knowledge if they are super-
vised or have been instructed in safe use of the appliance and
they understand the resulting risks. Children may not play with
the equipment. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be car-
ried out by unsupervised children.
The heater may not be used if the surface is damaged. To pre-
vent overheating of the appliance, the heater must not be cov-
ered. Children younger than 3years old must be kept away from
the heater, unless they are monitored continuously. Children
aged 3 years to 8 years may only switch the appliance on and
o if they are supervised or if they have been instructed in safe
use of the appliance and have understood the resulting hazards,
provided that the appliance is positioned or installed in its in-
tended position for use. Children aged 3 years to 8 years may
not insert the plug into the socket, control the appliance, clean
and/or carry out maintenance on the appliance.
The appliance may only be started up in its mounted condition.
This heater may not be used in the immediate vicinity of a bath,
a shower or a swimming pool. If installed in bathrooms, the ap-
pliance must be attached so that switches and other controllers
cannot be touched by a person in the bath or under the shower.
The heater may not be used in small rooms occupied by persons
who cannot leave the room independently, unless continuous
monitoring is ensured.
Several parts of the product can get very hot and cause burns.
Particular caution is required if children and people requiring
protection are present.
INTRODUCTION
IMPORTANT: Any type of load on the surface,
whether persons leaning on the appliance, or ob-
jects or other force eects must be avoided!
IMPORTANT: Hot surfaces of the appliance can
cause burns. Switch o the appliance and allow it
to cool before any maintenance or service work.
IMPORTANT: Environmental influences such as
direct sunshine, extensive smoke exposure, open
fireplaces, etc. can cause discolouration of the sur-
face of the LAVA® STAND infrared heater.
WARNING: Covering the surface causes a risk of
overheating! Even local covering of the front, e.g.
with a hand towel can cause overheating and dam-
age to the heating element.
WARNING: The infrared heater many not be used if
the front is damaged.
