BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
- Controleer voor gebruik of de spanning die het stopcontact, waarop
u de ventilator wilt aansluiten, afgeeft, gelijk is aan het voltage dat
op het typeplaatje van de ventilator staat.
- Controleer ventilator, stekker en elektrokabel voor gebruik op
beschadigingen.
- Gebruik de ventilator niet voordat u hem volledig in elkaar hebt
gezet.
- Trek niet aan de elektrokabel en rol of buig hem niet te strak.
- Om een elektrische schok te voorkomen de stekker niet met natte
handen aanraken!
- Hang geen kleding, doeken of wat dan ook over of aan de
ventilator en gebruik de ventilator niet in de nabijheid van gordijnen;
dat kan de motor doen vastlopen en daardoor slecht functioneren of
oververhitting tot gevolg hebben.
- Gebruik de ventilator niet bij té hoge temperaturen (boven de 40°),
niet in ruimtes met een hoge luchtvochtigheid (badkamers enz.) en
niet in stoffige ruimtes.
- Gebruik de ventilator niet in ruimtes waar zuren, alkali of olie staat
opgeslagen. Deze materialen kunnen vervormingen of erosie van de
materialen, en daardoor slecht functioneren veroorzaken.
- Gebruik de ventilator ook niet in ruimtes waar snelontbrandbare,
explosiegevaarlijke of gasvormige stoffen zijn opgeslagen. Een
vonkje uit de schakelaar zou ze kunnen doen ontbranden!
- Steek nooit een vinger, pen, stokje of wat voor voorwerp dan ook
door het beschermrooster de werkende ventilator in!
- Spuit geen anti-insectenmiddel op de ventilator; dat kan
lichamelijke klachten veroorzaken (i.h.b. bij kinderen!). Ook de
rubberen en geverfde onderdelen kunnen erdoor beschadigd raken.

SAMENSTELLING
Zet de ventilator in elkaar volgens de onderstaande beschrijving.
Bewaar de verpakking om die in de toekomst te kunnen gebruiken
wanneer u de ventilator op wilt ruimen.
1. opbouwen van de basisstandaard
•Schuif eerst de decoratiering en
vervolgens de decoratieve voetkap op
hun plaats over de onderzijde van de
basisstandaard.
•Verbind het stekkertje dat uit de basis-
standaard komt met het stopcontactje
dat uit de voet komt.
•Steek vervolgens de basisstandaard in
de voet.
•Gebruik 4 ringetjes en schroeven om
standaard en voet aaneen te
bevestigen (zie tekening).
•Draai de draaischroef op de basisstandaard los (maar niet
helemaal uit de standaard!) , trek vervolgens de instelbare
standaard omhoog tot de gewenste hoogte en zet hem daarop
vast met de draaischroef.
2. bevestiging van het beschermrooster achterzijde
•Draai het kapje van het
vinnenblad met de klok mee los
en draai de roostersluiting
tegen de klok in open.
Installeer nu het achterste
beschermrooster door het over
de drie pennetjes op het motor-
kapje voorzijde te plaatsen. Let
op: handvat naar boven!
•Zet het geheel vast door de roostersluiting met de klok mee weer
vast te draaien.

3. bevestiging van het vinnenblad
•Plaats het vinnenblad zo ver mogelijk over
de motor-as, zodat de roterende pen
geheel wegvalt in de groef aan de
achterkant van het blad.
•Draai het kapje van het vinnenblad tegen
de klok stevig vast op de motor-as, zie
tekening.
4. bevestiging van het beschermrooster voorzijde
•Plaats het voorste- over het achterste beschermrooster. Begin
met bovenaan het ‘hangertje’ van het voorste rooster over de
midden-boven rib van het achterste rooster te hangen. Bevestig
vervolgens van boven naar beneden de roosterring nauwkeurig
rond het achterste rooster d.m.v. de ingebouwde klemmetjes en
controleer of de ring exact de beide rooster omsluit.
•Druk de transparante roosterclip onderaan de roosterring stevig
om het achterrooster en borg de clip met de schroef.
•Om het voorrooster te verwijderen dient u eerst de schroef voor
de roosterclip los te draaien en dan de clip te openen.
•Drijf nu handmatig het voorste en het achterste rooster uit elkaar,
links en rechts gelijktijdig, te beginnen onderaan bij de clip.
AFSTANDSBEDIENING
Batterij plaatsen / vervangen
1. Open het dekseltje van het batterijvakje.
2. Plaats twee 1,5V batterijtjes (type AAA) in
het vakje. Let op de polen van de batterij!
3. Plaats het dekseltje weer over het vakje.
Gebruik afstandsbediening
•Richt de afstandsbediening altijd op het ontvangstpunt van de
ventilator
•De maximale afstand tussen de ventilator en de afstands-
bediening mag ongeveer 5 meter zijn; grotere afstand verzwakt
het signaal.

•In ruimtes waar apparatuur met een groot vermogen werkzaam is
zal de afstandsbediening slecht of niet functioneren.
•Plaats geen obstakels tussen afstandsbediening en ventilator.
•Behandel de afstandsbediening met zorg, laat hem niet vallen.
•Gebruikt u de afstandsbediening langere tijd niet, neem de
batterijen er dan uit.
DISPLAY
Het display toont de ingestelde functies. Bovenaan is een
elektronische thermometer geïnstalleerd. Zodra de ventilator wordt
ingeschakeld toont die de kamertemperatuur met een maximale
afwijking van 2°. De thermometer kan temperaturen van 0°C tot
40°C weergeven.
BEDIENINGSPANEEL
Alle functies van de ventilator zijn zowel met de afstandsbediening
als met de knoppen van het bedieningspaneel op de voorzijde van
de basisstandaard van de ventilator in te stellen.

INGEBRUIKNAME EN WERKING
Overtuig u ervan dat ventilator, elektrokabel en stekker geen
beschadigingen vertonen en dat het stopcontact, waarop u de
ventilator wilt aansluiten de spanning afgeeft die op het typeplaatje
vermeld staat. Steek dan de stekker in het stopcontact.
•Door nu op de ON/OFF-knop (aan/uit-knop) van de afstands-
bediening of het bedieningspaneel te drukken stelt u de ventilator
in werking. Het display toont de kamertemperatuur en de
ingestelde ventilatorsnelheid (speed): standaard laag.
•Met de SPEED-knop (snellheidsknop) regelt u de ventilator-
snelheid. Bij ingebruikname is die laag; door op de SPEED-knop
te drukken verhoogt u die tot middelmatig en door nogmaals te
drukken tot hoog. Drukt u nogmaals, dan keert hij terug tot de
lage snelheid.
•Met de MODE-knop kiest u voor een niet-constante ventilator-
snelheid die een natuurlijk windeffect benadert. De ventilator
wisselt zwakke, middelmatige en sterkere ‘windstoten’ af. Door
gelijktijdig met de SPEED-knop de snelheid te verhogen of te
verlagen zijn van deze functie ook drie varianten in te stellen:
zwakke- gemiddelde- en sterke natuurlijke wind.
•Drukt u nogmaals op de MODE-knop, dan schakelt de ventilator
over op SLEEP: de slaapstand, die d.m.v. de SPEED-knop ook
op drie varianten is in te stellen:
- slaapstand-hoog: SPEED op hoog, MODE op slaapstand. De
ventilator zal eerst 30 minuten de sterke natuurlijk wind
voortbrengen, dan 30 minuten de gemiddelde natuurlijk wind en
tenslotte overschakelen op zwakke natuurlijke wind tot de
ventilator wordt uitgeschakeld.
- slaapstand-middel: SPEED op middel, MODE op slaapstand.
De ventilator zal eerst 30 minuten middelmatige natuurlijke wind
voortbrengen en dan overschakelen op zwakke natuurlijke wind
tot de ventialtor wordt uitgeschakeld.
- slaapstand-laag: de ventilator brengt een zwakke natuurlijke
wind voort tot hij wordt uitgeschakeld.

•Met de TIMER-knop (tijdklok) stelt vooraf de tijdsduur in die de
ventilator zal werken. Door éénmaal op de knop te drukken is dat
een half uur, elke keer dat u vaker drukt wordt er half uur
toegevoegd tot een maximum van 8 uur (16 x drukken). Drukt u
voor de 17ekeer, dan schakelt u de timerfunctie weer uit.
•Met de SWING-knop kunt u de ventilator van links naar rechts
(en terug) laten zwenken. Met één druk op de knop activeert u
deze functie, door nogmaals te drukken schakelt u hem weer uit.
•Door de IONIZER-knop in te drukken laat u de ventilator +/- ionen
uitstoten die de lucht reinigen.
De ventilator heeft een geheugenfunctie: wanneer u hem uitschakelt
met de AAN/UIT-knop maar de stekker in het stopcontact laat, zal hij
(wanneer u hem weer aanzet) terugkeren naar de laatst gebruikte
functie (met uitzondering van de timer en de slaapstandfuncties).
Let op! Altijd eerst de ventilator uitschakelen en dan pas de stekker
uit het stopcontact nemen!
SCHOONMAAK EN ONDERHOUD
Schakel de ventilator uit en neem de stekker uit het stopcontact
wanneer u hem wilt reinigen of onderhoud wilt uitvoeren.
De ventilator vraag alleen wat algemeen, uitwendig onderhoud. Stof
hem regelmatig af met een zachte doek of plumeau of zuig hem
schoon met een zacht stofzuigerborsteltje. Is hij erg vuil, open dan
het voorste rooster en neem roosters en bladen af met een licht-
bevochtigde doek met een zacht huishoudelijk reinigingsmiddel.
Droog alles goed na en laat de ventilator goed drogen voor u hem
weer in gebruik neemt. Zorg ervoor dat er geen water op andere
delen dan rooster en bladen terechtkomt! Spoel of spuit de ventilator
nooit af!
Om verkleuring of vervormingen van het materiaal te voorkomen
nooit agressieve of bijtende (schoonmaak)middelen gebruiken.
Wanneer u de ventialtor aan het eind van het seizoen wilt opruimen,
doe dat dan in de originele verpakking: die biedt de beste
bescherming. Ruim hem weg op een veilige, droge, niet extreem
warme of koude plaats.

PROBLEMEN EN OPLOSSINGEN
Het vinnenblad draait niet terwijl de ventilator aangezet is
•Zit de stekker wel goed in het stopcontact?
•Wordt het vinnenblad niet ergens geblokkeerd, bijv. door een
beschadiging, een vervorming van het beschermrooster of een
vreemd voorwerp?
Er doet zich een abnormaal geluid voor bij het opstarten
•Controleer of het vinnenblad zo ver mogelijk over de motor-as is
geplaatst, zodat de groef aan de achterkant van het blad geheel
in lijn is met de roterende pen.
•Controleer of er zich wellicht fijne braampjes rond het vinnenblad
bevinden.
•Controleer of het vinnenblad misschien een vervorming van het
beschermrooster raakt.
Waarschuwing: Reparaties dienen door daarvoor opgeleide
monteurs te worden uitgevoerd. Dat geldt ook voor vervanging of
reparatie van de elektrokabel en de stekker. Vraag bij reparatie altijd
om originele onderdelen.
In het apparaat aangebrachte wijzigingen en ondeskundig
uitgevoerde reparaties doen de garantie en de aansprakelijkheid
van leverancier, importeur en fabrikant vervallen.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
· Before use, check if the voltage complies with the specifications
marked on the voltage label attached at the fan.
· Before use, please check the fan, the power cable and plug for
damage.
· Do not use it before assembling.
· To avoid poor contact, please do not bend or pull the power cable
with force.
· Do not use wet hands to pull the plug to avoid electric shock.
· Please do not hang clothes on or over the fan guards.
· Please not to use it at the place where there is curtain.
Otherwise, the motor will stall and operate abnormally.
· Please do not use the fan at high temperature (above 40°C) and
high humidity area (shower rooms), and dusty areas.
· Do not use the fan at the place where acid, alkali or oil is stored;
otherwise the above conditions will cause deformation and
malfunctions.
- Do not use the fan in a room where inflammable-, explosive- or
gaseous materials are stored. A sparkle from the switch can cause
fire!
- Please do not insert fingers, pens or whatever which object insert
into the guards when the fan is running.
· Please do not spray insecticide on the fan. It will cause injury to
persons, especially to children. Otherwise the resin and painted
parts will be affected.

ASSEMBLY METHOD
Please assemble correctly according to following sequence.
Please keep the package properly for future storage.
1. Assembly of the stand
•Shove at first the decorative
ring and then the decorative
base cap over the base stand
•Connect the little plug (coming
out of the base stand) with the
socket (coming out of the base)
•Insert the fan into the base
•Use four pieces of cushions
fixing base and base stand.
•Unscrew the turn screw on the
base stand a little (not in
total!) and pull out the
adjustable stand as far as you
want. Fasten it by tightening
the turnscew again.
2. assembly of the rear guard:
•Draw out the blade cap
clockwise and take out the
guard lock anti-clockwise,
and then install the
rearguard by positioning it
over the three pins on the
frontmotor cover. Attention:
the handgrip up!
•Lock and fix it clockwise
with the guard lock.

3. Assembly of the blade
•Insert the motor shaft into the fan blade
to the uttermost so that the rotating pin
falls in total in the groove at the backside
of the blade.
•Anti-clockwise clock the blade cap into
the motor shaft and fix it tightly, as
illustrated.
4. Assembly of the front guard
•Place the frontguard over the backguard. Start in the top by
hanging the ‘hanger’ of the frontguard over the middle-up rib of
the backguard. Fasten now carefully the guardring over the
backguard, from up to dowm, with the build-in clamps. Make
sure that the ring encircles perfect the both gurads.
•Close the transparent guard clip under the front guard ring and
lock the locking screw.
•To remove the front guard you have to open at first the screw,
then open the guard clip.
•Pat the right and left part of the guards at the same time with your
hands, to start at the downside, at the clip.
THE REMOTE CONTROL
Battery assembly instruction
1. Open the cover of battery compartment.
2. Install two batteries into the battery compart-
ment. Take care on the polarity of battery.
3. Cover up the battery compartment.
Using the remote control
•The remote controller should be pointed to the receiver.
•Please make sure to used the remote controller is within
approximately 5 meters from the receiver. If not, the effectiveness
will be reduced.

•If used in a room with high power machine running, the remote
controller will be not function.
•Do not put any obstruction between the remote controller and
receiver.
•Please keep the remote controller with care, do not drop it.
•Please take out the battery when the remote controller is left
unused for a long time.
DISPLAY
The display shows the functions which have been set. Above the
icons an electronic thermometer is installed. As soon as the power is
switched on, it will show the indoor temperature. The tolerance is
about 2°. The electronic thermometer can show the range of
temperature from 0°C to 40°C.
CONTROL PANEL
All function of the fan can be set by the remote control as well as
with the buttons on the control panel on the front of the base-stand
of the fan.

START AND WORKING
Make sure that fan, power cable and plug are not damaged and that
the voltage complains with the specifications on the label of the fan.
Plug in.
•By pushing the ON/OFF-button of the control-panel or the
remote-control you set the fan in use. The display shows the
indoor temperature and the fan-speed: standard low.
•With the SPEED-button you arrange the fan-speed. At the start it
is low; by pressing the SPEED-button you heighten it to middle,
and by pressing another time to high. Do you press again the
speed will come back to low.
•With the MODE-button you choose for a not-constant fan speed
which imitates a natural wind. The fan alternates weak-, middle-
and strong ‘gusts of wind’. By using at the same time the SPEED-
button you can set three variants of this mode: weak- middle- and
strong natural wind.
•By pressing the MODE-button another time you change to the
SLEEP-mode, which you (by the SPEED-button) also can set in
three variants:
- sleep-mode high: SPEED on high, MODE on SLEEP. The first
30 minutes the fan will produce strong natural wind, after that 30
minutes a middle natural wind and than it switches to weak
natural wind till the fan is turned off.
- sleep-mode middle: SPEED on middle, MODE on SLEEP. The
First 30 minutes the fan will produce a middle natural wind, than
it switches to weak natural wind till the fan is turned off.
- sleep-mode weak: the fan produces a weak natural wind till it is
turned off.
•With the TIMER-button you set beforehand a limit to the
workingtime of the fan. By pressing one time the TIMER-button
you set half an hour; every time you press again you add another
half an hour, till 8 hours (16 times pressing). When you press for
the 17th time, you deactivate the timer.

•With the SWING-button you make the fan oscillating from left to
right (and back). Pressing one time you activate this function,
pressing another time de-activates it.
•With the IONIZER-button you make that the fan emits +/-ions to
clean and purify the air.
The fan has a memory-function. When you turn off the fan by the
ON/OFF-button, but keep the power, it will remember the previous
work status and pick up this again when you turn on again (except
the timing and the sleep wind function).
Remind! Before unplugging the power cord, turn off the power!
CLEANING AND SERVICE
Always switch off and unplug the fan before you clean it or do some
service.
The fan only needs some general external maintenance. Remove
dust with a soft cloth, or use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. Is
the fan very dirty, then you can open the front guard and wipe the
blades and guards with a damp (not: wet!!) cloth and a soft kitchen
detergent. Then wipe it dry and let the fan dry very good before
using it again. Make sure that there is no water on other parts than
the blades and the guards! Never wash or spray the fan!
To avoid decolouring or deterioration never use aggressive
(cleaning)materials.
When you want to store the fan at the end of the season, put it back
in the original package and store it on a safe and dry place, not
extremely warm or cold.

TROUBLESHOOTING
The fanblade does not run at power-on
•Check or the power supply plug is really plugged into the socket
•Check or the blade isn’t blocked: possibly by damage, deforming
of the guards or a strange object?
There is an abnormal sound when starting the fan
•Check or the motor shaft is inserted into the fan blade to the
uttermost with groove at the back of the blade completely aligning
with the rotor pin.
•Check or there are fine burrs around the fan blade
•Check or the blade touches a deformation of the guards
Warning: Repairs should be done by authorized service personnel,
also repairs or replacing of the electric cable and plug. Ask always
for the original spare parts.
Alternations carried out at the equipment and repairs, not carried out
by authorized people do expire the guarantee and responsibility of
the dealer, importer end manufacturer.

PRESCRIPTIONS EN MATIERE DE SECURITE
- Avant l’utilisation, contrôlez si la tension fournie par la prise
d’alimentation, à laquelle vous voulez raccorder le ventilateur, est
identique au voltage qui est indiqué sur la plaque signalétique du
ventilateur.
- Avant l’utilisation, vérifiez que le ventilateur, la fiche et le cordon
électrique ne sont pas endommagés.
- N’utilisez pas le ventilateur avant d’en avoir terminé complètement
l’assemblage
- Ne tirez pas sur le cordon électrique et évitez de l’enrouler ou de le
plier d’une manière trop serrée.
- Pour éviter une décharge électrique, ne saisissez pas la fiche avec
des mains humides.
- Ne suspendez pas et n’accrochez pas vêtements, étoffes ou quoi
que ce soit au-dessus ou auprès du ventilateur et n’utilisez pas le
ventilateur à proximité de rideaux; ceux-ci pourraient gripper le
moteur et entraîner un mauvais fonctionnement ou une surchauffe.
- N’utilisez pas le ventilateur en cas de température trop élevée (au-
dessus de 40°), de même que dans des locaux où règne une forte
humidité (salle de bain, etc.) et pas non plus dans des locaux
poussiéreux.
- N’utilisez pas le ventilateur dans des locaux où sont entreposés
des acides, des bases ou de l’huile. Ces produits peuvent
occasionner des déformations ou de l’érosion des matériaux et
provoquer de ce fait un mauvais fonctionnement.
- N’utilisez pas non plus le ventilateur dans des locaux où sont
entreposées des matières facilement inflammables, présentant un
risque d’explosion ou se trouvant à l’état gazeux. Une simple
étincelle provenant de l’interrupteur pourrait déclencher un incendie.
- N’introduisez jamais un doigt, un stylo, un bâtonnet ou quelqu’objet
que ce soit au travers de la grille de protection du ventilateur en
marche!
- Ne pulvérisez pas d’insecticide sur le ventilateur; cela pourrait
provoquer des dommages corporels (en particulier en présence
d’enfants!). Les composants en caoutchouc et ceux qui sont peints
pourraient aussi en être endommagés
