Based on many years of experience, FEIN has
acquired the knowledge for fastening applica-
tions: torque repeatability and excellent er-
gonomics for comfortable handling. FEIN‘s
ACCUTEC range of screwdrivers provides the
ideal solution for high-quality screwed con-
nections in a torque range of 8 to 221 in.lbs.
(0.9 to 25 Nm).
FEIN Basic.
FEIN has set a new standard with the
ACCUTEC screw gun. Features include a pistol
grip handle which provides the perfect bal-
ance for the operator.
With the ACCUTEC ASW nutrunner it is
possible to drive screws even in very con-
fined spaces at torque ranges up to 221 in.lbs.
(25 Nm) in assembly production. These
trend-setting cordless angle nutrunners are
outstanding in performance and precision.
FEIN Control.
Other advancements of the ACCUTEC shut-off
screwdriver has led to the ACCUTEC Control
screwdriver to meet the increased quality
requirements demanded of the industry.
The FEIN ACCUTEC Control can transmit all
pertinent screwdriving data by radio to a
computer. No matter which ACCUTEC shut-off
screwdriver you choose, FEIN power tools
are world-renowned for their precision and
reliability.

Features that raise the bar of expectations!
FEIN mechanics.
Modern and reliable mechanics integrated in
outstanding ergonomics – that is the concept
of the ACCUTEC shut-off screwdriver. By em-
ploying brushless EC motor technology in
theACCUTEC ASM and ASW screwdrivers, ser-
vice life is highly increased compared to con-
ventional motors. Premature motor replace-
ment is eliminated. Follow-up costs in main-
tenance and spare parts are kept to
a mimum.
Low Energy Lock.
The new ACCUTEC screw guns with the pistol
grip also features Low Energy Lock.
A restart lock monitors the remaining charge
of the battery. Before the charge becomes too
low to provide the desired torque the ma-
chine is locked. Fastening is not possible until
the battery has been exchanged. The switch-
on delay blocks the machine for 0.8 seconds,
which avoids undesired retightening of the
fastener. This function is activated immediate-
ly after the switch is released.
Loaded with extras.
An LED indicator lights up when the preset
torque has been reached. Improper fastenings
are indicated by the red LED and an acoustical
signal. Battery capacity is monitored continu-
ously. The LED indicator also signals when the
battery should be exchanged.

Unique left-hand operation!
The position of the button for left-hand run-
ning makes quick switching to left-hand mode
possible in case of a faulty fastening. Single-
hand operation is therefore also easy for
left-handers. By pressing the front toggle
switch once, the machine is switched to
left-hand operation. The LED indicator
then blinks red and green. After com-
pletion of the left-hand run, or 10sec-
onds, the right-hand run is automatically
re-activated.

Continuous illumination.
Continuous illumination brightens the screw site. This helps the
operator drive screws in poorly lighted locations.
Highest torque repeatability.
The screw gun with the pistol grip handle features soft start. In com-
bination with the patented clutch unusually low starting torques can
be achieved. The gentle start-up and the soft stop reduce tension on
the operator as well as the tool. Different models can be used to work
with torques ranging from 8 to 106.2 in.lbs. (0.9 to 12 Nm).
Slower speeds for delicate applications.
Hose links and plastic screws require careful fastening. The ASM with
reduced speed is perfect for this application. The ASM 9-6-150 works
at only 150 rpm in the torque range of 9 - 53 in.lbs. (1-6 Nm). This
guarantees that the screw drive meets quality requirements from onset
until the set torque is reached.

Direct illumination.
The LED illumination integrated into all screwdrivers lights up the fas-
tening site. The view is optimal even in spots where the view is usually
difficult. During the actual screwdriving the illumination is automati-
cally switched off in order to conserve valuable battery capacity.
Operation made simple.
By pressing the front toggle switch once, the machine is switched to
left-hand running. The LED indicator then blinks red and green.
After completion of the left-hand run or a maximum of 10 seconds,
the right-hand run is automatically re-activated.
Compact design.
The offset construction allows for driving screws in even
hard-to-reach locations. In addition, the angled head can be adjusted
by ± 180 degrees.
Ergonomics.
Outstanding ergonomics and weight distribution allow for single-
handed operation. The standard soft start is easy on the hands and
arms of the operator and extends the service life of the motor
and gears as well.

Since assemblies are becoming ever more
compact, access to screw connections
often becomes impossible with conven-
tional tools. FEIN offers an ideal program
consisting of the ACCUTEC nutrunner offset
screwdriver with various types of tongue
tools. Flat drives or tongue tools offer the
perfect solution in the production pro-
cess. The two models differ in open and
closed versions. Durable – constructed
and manufactured for daily work – flat
drives and tongue tools provide repeatable
performance values. Consistent result are
achieved even in low clearance areas.
In addition to the standard program,
customized special solutions can be
constructed for the ACCUTEC nutrunner
offset screwdriver.
The FEIN ACCUTEC angle nutrunner together with a tongue tool and
angled head in open construction makes it possible to reliably screw
pipes, stud bolts, and sheathed cables up to 13 mm and 154.9 in.lbs
(17.5 Nm). After the screw is fastened by pressing the button for left-
hand operation and restarting the machine.
ACCUTEC angle inline nutrunners allow access with a flat drive where an
angled head is inaccessible. Open or closed inline tongue tools are avail-
able with various widths up to 11 mm and torques up to 109.7 in.lbs
(12.4 Nm).
FEIN ACCUTEC angle nutrunner with tongue tools and angled heads in
closed variations are available in various spanner widths and torque
ranges. Difficult to reach screw connections can be processed in widths
up to 13 mm and torques up to 154.9 in.lbs (17.5 Nm). Special sizes
available on request.

FEIN batteries.
The batteries of the FEIN ACCUTEC
industrial screwdrivers comply with the
quality of our high-performance power
tools. An electronic code makes it possible
to reliably detect faulty batteries in con-
nection with FEIN battery chargers. The
FEIN battery cells are made by a premium
supplier and provide maximum service
life. ACCUTEC shut-off screwdrivers are
standard-equipped with NiCd type bat-
teries. NiMh batteries of the same size are
also available. In tight areas, smaller bat-
teries with 800 mAh NiCd or 1,700 mAh
NiMh can be used for the 9.6 V models. If
greater performance is required, the bat-
teries of the nutrunner are employed in
the 12 V machine models. The 12 V NiCd
battery for the angle nutrunner features
a performance of 2,000 mAh. For a 12 V
battery of the NiMh type the capacity lies
at 2,600 mAh.
With the FEIN ALG 20 battery chargers, all
NiCd and NiMh batteries in the AccuTec-
family can be charged reliably. LEDs signal
at a glance the operational and charge sta-
tus of the batteries, plus all other impor-
tant functions.
