1 BenutzerhinweiseDeutsch
Der CP-Feldbusknoten 13 ist ausschließlich für den Einsatz
als Teilnehmer am PROFIBUS-DP bestimmt. Hierbei sind
die angegebenen Grenzwerte der technischen Daten einzu-
halten.
Ausführliche Informationen finden Sie in der Beschreibung
P.BE-CP-FB13-E.. .
Warnung
SSchalten Sie die Spannung aus, bevor Sie Steckver-
binder zusammen stecken oder trennen (Funktions-
schädigung).
SVerwenden Sie nur Netzteile, die eine sichere elektri-
sche Trennung der Betriebsspannung nach IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 mit mindestens 4 kV Isolations-
festigkeit gewährleisten (PELV). Schaltnetzteile sind
zulässig, wenn sie die sichere Trennung im Sinne der
EN 60950/VDE 0805 gewährleisten.
SSchließen Sie einen Erdleiter mit ausreichendem Lei-
tungsquerschnitt an den mit dem Erdungssymbol
gekennzeichneten Anschluss an.
SNehmen Sie nur ein komplett montiertes und ver-
drahtetes CP-System in Betrieb.
Stellen Sie bei Verwendung als explosionsgeschütztes
Betriebsmittel sicher, dass:
Selektrische Anschlüsse nicht unter Spannung ge-
trennt werden.
Sdie komplett installierte Ventilinsel mit allen verwen-
deten Steckern, Adaptern und Schutzkappen minde-
stens die Schutzart IP64 aufweist

3 Konfiguration
Vorsicht
Der Knoten enthält elektronisch gefährdete Bauele-
mente. Berühren der Kontaktflächen an Steckverbin-
dungen und Missachtung der Handhabungsvorschriften
für elektrostatisch gefährdete Bauelemente können
denKnotenzerstören.
Gehen Sie beim Konfigurieren wie folgt vor:
1. Spannungsversorgung abschalten.
2. Schalterabdeckung öffnen.
3. Mit den Dreh-/DIL-Schaltern einstellen
(siehe Abschnitt 4):
– Feldbusadresse
– Diagnosemeldung aktiv/inaktiv.
4. Schalterabdeckung wieder festschrauben.
5. Ist das CP-System erster oder letzter Feldbusteilneh-
mer, muss der Abschlusswiderstand im Festo-Sub-D-
Stecker aktiviert werden.

SPrüfen Sie, mit welchen Maßnahmen Sie Ihre Anlage
im NOT-AUS-Fall in einen sicheren Zustand versetzen.

1 User instructionsEnglish
The CP field bus node 13 is intended exclusively for use as
a slave on the PROFIBUS-DP. The maximum values speci-
fied in the section “Technical specifications” must be ob-
served here.
Detailed information can be found in the manual
P.BE-CP-FB13-E.. .
Warning
SSwitch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
SUse only power units which guarantee reliable isola-
tion of the operating voltages as per IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation resis-
tance (Protected Extra Low Voltage PELV). Switch
power packs are permitted, providing they guarantee
reliable isolation in accordance with EN 60950/
VDE 0805.
SConnect an earth conductor of sufficient cross-sec-
tional area to the terminal marked with the earth
symbol.
SCommission only a CP system which has been fitted
and wired completely.
If to be used as an explosion-protected operating de-
vice, make sure that:
Selectrical contacts are not disconnected under ten-
sion
Sthe completely fitted valve terminal with all plugs,
adapters and protective caps complies at least with
protection class IP 64.

3 Configuration
Caution
The node contains electrostatically sensitive compo-
nents. The node will be damaged if you touch the con-
tact surfaces of the plug connectors or if you do not
observe the regulations for handling electrostatically
sensitive components.
Proceed as follows when configuring:
1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Open the switch cover.
3. Use the rotary/DIL switches to set the following
(see section 4):
– the field bus address
– the diagnostic message active/inactive.
4. Screw the switch cover tight again.
5. If the CP system is the first or last field bus slave, the
terminating resistor in the Festo Sub-D plug must be
activated.
Warning
SCheck the measures required for putting your system
into a safe status in the event of an EMERGENCY
STOP.
