1 Benutzerhinweise
Das Messmodul Typ CPX-CMIX-M1-1 ist ausschließlich für
den Einsatz in CPX-Terminals von Festo in Verbindung mit
geeigneten Komponenten bestimmt. Hierbei sind die ange-
gebenen Grenzwerte der technischen Daten einzuhalten.
Der CMIX stellt die Position des angeschlossenen
Wegmesssystems/Sensorinterface als Analogwert im
CPX-Terminal zur Verfügung.

Warnung
SSchalten Sie die Spannung aus, bevor Sie Steckver-
binder zusammenstecken oder trennen (Funktions-
schädigung).
SVerwenden Sie ausschließlich Stromquellen, die eine
sichere elektrische Trennung der Betriebsspannung
nach IEC/DIN EN 60204-1 gewährleisten. Berücksich-
tigen Sie zusätzlich die allgemeinen Anforderungen
an PELV-Stromkreise gemäß IEC/DIN EN 60204-1.
SSchließen Sie einen Erdleiter mit ausreichendem
Leitungsquerschnitt an den mit dem Erdungssymbol
gekennzeichneten Anschluss des CPX-Terminals an.
SDer CMIX enthält elektrostatisch gefährdete Bauele-
mente. Berühren Sie deshalb keine Bauelemente.
Beachten Sie die Handhabungsvorschriften für elektro-
statisch gefährdete Bauelemente.

3 Installationshinweise
3.1 Hinweis zum Austausch des CMIX-Moduls
Beim Messsystem Potentiometer werden die parametrierte
Nutzhublänge sowie die minimale und maximale Position
im CMIX gespeichert. Führen Sie mit diesem Messsystem-
typ nach Austausch des CMIX erneut eine Inbetriebnahme
durch, siehe Beschreibung zum CMIX.
Wurde ein Nullpunkt gespeichert, muss dieser ebenfalls
neu gesetzt werden.
3.2 Montage
Der CMIX ist in einen Verkettungsblock des CPX-Terminals
montiert.

Demontage:
SSchrauben herausdrehen und CMIX vorsichtig
abheben.
Montage:
1. Dichtung und Dichtflächen prüfen und Anschlussblock
wieder aufsetzen.
2. Schrauben so ansetzen, dass die vorgefurchten Gewin-
degänge genutzt werden. Schrauben von Hand über
Kreuz anziehen. Anziehdrehmoment 0,9 … 1,1 Nm.

exclusively for use in CPX terminals from Festo in
conjunction with suitable components. The maximum
values specified in the section “Technical specifications”
must be observed here.
The CMIX makes available the position of the connected
displacement encoder/sensor interface in the CPX terminal
as an analogue value.
Detailed information on the CMIX measuring module can
be found in the manual on the CMIX type P.BE-CPX-CMIX-...
Basic information on the CPX terminal can be found in the

Warning
• Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
SUse only power units which guarantee reliable
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204-1. Observe also the general
requirements for PELV power circuits as per IEC/DIN
EN 60204-1.
SConnect an earthing cable with sufficient
cross-sectional area to the connection on the CPX
terminal marked with the earth symbol.
SThe CMIX contains electrostatically sensitive
components. Therefore, do not touch any
components. Observe the handling specifications for
electrostatically sensitive components.

3 Installation instructions
3.1 Note on replacing the CMIX module
For the potentiometer measuring system, the
parameterised effective stroke length as well as the
minimum and maximum position are stored in the CMIX.
With this measuring system type, perform commissioning
again after replacing the CMIX; see manual on the CMIX.
If a zero point was stored, it must also be reset.
3.2 Fitting
The CMIX is mounted in an interlinking block of the CPX
terminal.

Removing:
SRemove the screws and lift the CMIX up carefully.
Mounting:
1. Check the seal and sealing surfaces and refit the
connection block.
2. Screws must be fitted so that the self-cutting threads
can be used. Tighten the screws by hand in diagonally
opposite sequence. Tightening torque 0.9 ... 1.1 Nm.

1 Instrucciones para el usuario
El módulo de medición de ejes tipo CPX-CMIX-M1-1 está
concebido exclusivamente para su uso en terminales CPX
de Festo en combinación con componentes adecuados.
Deben observarse los valores máximos indicados en la
sección “Especificaciones técnicas”.
El CMIX proporciona al terminal CPX la posición del sis-
tema de medición de recorrido o del interface de sensor
conectado como valor analógico.

La información básica sobre el terminal CPX se encuentra

Advertencia
SInterrumpa la alimentación antes de enchufar o des-
conectar conectores enchufables (esto evitará daños
funcionales).
SUtilice exclusivamente fuentes de alimentación que
garanticen un aislamiento eléctrico de la tensión de
funcionamiento según IEC/DIN EN 60204-1. Observe
también los requisitos generales para circuitos PELV
conforme a la norma IEC/DIN EN 60204-1.
SConecte un cable de tierra con suficiente sección
transversal a la conexión del terminal CPX marcada
con el símbolo de tierra.
SEl CMIX contiene componentes sensibles a las des-
cargas electrostáticas. Por este motivo no se deben
tocar los componentes. Observe las especificaciones
sobre cómo manipular elementos sensibles a las des-
cargas electrostáticas.

3 Instrucciones de instalación
3.1 Indicación sobre la sustitución del módulo CMIX
En el sistema de medición con potenciómetro, la longitud
de carrera útil parametrizada y las posiciones mínima y
máxima se guardan en el CMIX. Si utiliza este tipo de
sistema de medición, después de sustituir el CMIX debe
efectuar de nuevo una puesta a punto, véase el manual
del CMIX.
Si se guardó un punto cero, éste también deberá volver a
ajustarse.
3.2 Montaje
El CMIX está montado en un bloque de distribución del
terminal CPX.

Desmontaje:
SDesenrocar los tornillos y levantar con cuidado el
CMIX.
Montaje:
1. Comprobar la junta y las superficies hermetizantes y
volveracolocarlaplacadealimentación.
2. Insertar los tornillos de forma que puedan utilizarse
las roscas autocortantes. Apretar los tornillos
manualmente en cruz. Par de apriete 0,9 ... 1,1 Nm.
