precautions must be observed to avoid inju-
ries and damage. Please read these original
operating instructions and safety information
with due care. Keep these operating instruc-
tions in a safe place so that the information
is available at all times. If you give the equip-
ment to any other person, please hand over
these original operating instructions and the
safety information as well. We cannot accept
any liability for damage or accidents which
arise due to failure to follow these instruc-
tions and the safety information.


tions. Failure to adhere to the safety infor-
mation and instructions set out below may
result in electric shock, re and/or serious
injury.
Keep all the safety information and instruc-
tions in a safe place for future use.
Protect yourself and your environment from
risks and accidents by taking the appropria-
te precautionary measures.
• This equipment is not designed to be
used by people (including children)
with limited physical, sensory or mental
capacities or those with no experience
and/or knowledge unless they are su-
pervised by a person who is responsible
for their safety or they have received ins-
tructions from such a person in to how to
use the equipment safely. Children must
always be supervised in order to ensure
that they do not play with the equipment.
• Keep the plastic packaging out of the
reach of babies and children.
Risk of suffocation!
• The operator is responsible for the safe-
ty of other people in the work area.
• Before starting, a test must be carried
out by a specialist to ensure that the
required electrical safety measures are
in place.

In stagnant water bodies, garden ponds,
swimming ponds and their surrounding
areas the pump may only be used with
an earth-leakage circuit breaker with an
actuating rated fault current of up to 30
mA (as stipulated in VDE 0100 parts 702
and 738).
• The pump is not designed for use in
any kind of swimming pools and padd-
ling pools or in other bodies of water in
which people or animals may be present
during its operation.
• It is prohibited to operate the pump if a
person or animal is in the danger zone.
Ask your electrician!
• Always inspect the equipment visually
before using it. Do not use the equip-
ment if safety devices are damaged or
worn. Never disable any safety devices.
• Use the equipment only for the purposes
indicated in these original operating ins-
tructions.
• You are responsible for safety in the ope-
rating area.
• If the power cable for this machine is
damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or the manufacturer’s
after-sales service or by similarly trained
personnel to avoid danger.
• The voltage of 230 V alternating voltage
specified on the rating plate of the pump
must be the same as the mains voltage.
• Never use the power cable to lift, trans-
port or secure the pump.
• Ensure that the electrical plug connec-
tions are in areas that are not at risk of
flooding and protect them from moisture.
• Always pull out the power plug before
doing any work on the pump!
• Do not expose the pump to a direct jet
of water.

• The operator is responsible for com-
plying with local safety and installation
regulations (ask an electrician if you are
in any doubt).
• The user is required to take suitable
measures (e.g. installing an alarm sys-
tem or a reserve pump, etc.) to prevent
damage arising as a result of flooded
rooms in the event of faults with the
pump.
• In the event of a failure of the pump, re-
pair work may only be carried out by an
electrician or by ISC after-sales service
personnel.
• Use only original spare parts.
• The pump must never run dry or be used
when the intake line is fully closed. The
manufacturer’s warranty does not cover
damage caused to the pump as a result
of running it dry.
• The pump must not be used to operate
swimming pools.
• The pump must not be installed in the
drinking water pipeline.
• The maximum temperature of the fluid
must not exceed +35°C.
• Do not use this equipment to pump in-
flammable, gassing or explosive fluids.
• The pumping of aggressive liquids (acid,
alkali, silo seepage, etc.) and liquids
with abrasive (emerizing) substances
(sand) must likewise be avoided.



• Open the packaging and take out the
equipment with care.

As a basic principle, we recommend the
use of a preliminary lter and a suction set
with suction hose, intake cage and non-
return valve, in order to prevent long priming
periods and unnecessary damage to the
pump as a result of stones and solid foreign
bodies.




• The mains connection needs a 230 V ~
50 Hz shock-proof socket. Minimum 10-
amp fuse required. Please ensure that
the power socket is easily accessible.
• Switch on/off at the built-in switch (see
Fig. 1/Item 2).
• The motor is protected from overload
or blockage by a built-in temperature
monitor. In case of overheating the tem-
perature monitor automatically switches
the pump off. After the equipment has
cooled down, the pump will switch on
again automatically.

• Screw the suction pipe (min. 19 mm
(3/4“) plastic pipe with spiral reinforce-
ment) approx. 33 mm onto the intake
line connection (R1 female thread) of
the pump (Fig. 1/Item 5) either directly or
with the aid of a threaded nipple.
• The suction hose should have an intake
valve. If the intake valve cannot be used
then a non-return valve should be ins-
talled in the intake line.
• Position the intake line so that it rises
from the water withdrawal point to the
pump. Avoid positioning the intake line
higher than the pump as this would
delay the escape of air bubbles from
the intake line and impede the priming
process.
• Install the intake and discharge lines in
such a way that they do not exert any
mechanical pressure on the pump.
• The intake valve should be low enough
in the water to ensure that the pump will
not run dry if the water level falls.
• A leaking intake line will draw in air and
therefore not draw in any water.
• Take measures to prevent the intake of
foreign bodies (sand, etc.). If necessary
install a coarse filter.

• The discharge line (should be min. 19
mm (3/4“)) must be connected approx.
33 mm to the discharge line connection
(R1 female thread) of the pump either di-
rectly or with the aid of a threaded nipple
(Fig. 1/Item 7).
• You can also use a pressure hose of ap-
prox. 13 mm (1/2“) with the relevant cou-
plings. The pump rate is reduced when
using the smaller discharge line.
• During the priming process, the shut-off
devices present in the discharge line
(spray nozzles, valves, etc.) must be
completely open so that the air in the
intake line can escape freely.

• Place the pump on a firm and level sur-
face.
• Before starting the pump, it must be 
 on the surface using
the holes in the stand (see Fig. 1/Item 3).
• Fit intake line so that it is ready for use.
• Fill pump with water at the filler screw
(Fig. 1/Item 6) up to the full point.
• During the priming process, the shut-off
devices present in the discharge line
(spray nozzles, valves, etc.) must be
completely open so that the air in the
intake line can escape freely.
• The initial intake process can take ap-
prox. 30 seconds to 5 minutes, depen-
ding on the suction height and volume
of air in the intake line. The pump should
be topped up with water if the priming
time is longer.
• If the pump is removed after use, it is es-
sential that it is filled with water again the
next time it is connected and started.
• Establish electrical connection.

• The pump is largely maintenance-free.
In order to ensure a long service life,
however, we recommend regular checks
and product care.





• Before lengthy periods of inactivity or
winter storage rinse the pump thorough-
ly, empty it completely and store it in a
dry place.
• To drain the pump housing, undo the
water drain screw (Fig. 1/Item 4) and tilt
the pump slightly.
• The pump must be completely emptied
if there is a risk of frost.
• After relatively long periods of storage,
switch on and off briefly to check whe-
ther the rotor is turning properly.
• If the pump is clogged, connect the
discharge line to the water line and dis-
connect the intake line. Open the water
line. Switch on the pump several times
for approx. two seconds. This should
resolve the majority of clog-related pro-
blems.
• We recommend lukewarm water to clean
the motor and pump housing.






of reach of children in a dark and dry place
above freezing.
The ideal storage temperature is between 5
and 30 °C. Store the equipment in its origi-
nal packaging.


prevent it from being damaged in transit.
The raw materials in this packaging can be
reused or recycled. The equipment and its
accessories are made of various types of
material, such as metal and plastic. Defec-
tive components must be disposed of as
special waste. Ask your dealer or your local
council.
For EU countries only
Never place electric power tools in your
household refuse!
Under European Directive 2002/96/EC
concerning old electric and electronic equip-
ment and its implementation in national
laws, old electric power tools have to be se-
parated from other waste and disposed of in
an environmentally-friendly fashion, e.g. by
taking to a recycling depot.
Recycling alternative to return request:
Instead of returning the equipment to the
manufacturer, the owner of the electrical
equipment is obliged to ensure that the
equipment is properly disposed of if relin-
quishing ownership. The old equipment can
be returned to a suitable collection point that
will dispose of the equipment in accordance
with the national recycling and waste dispo-
sal regulations. This does not apply to any
accessories or aids without electrical com-
ponents supplied with the old equipment.

1. These guarantee terms cover additional guarantee rights and do not aect your statutory warranty
rights. We do not charge you for this guarantee.
2. Our guarantee only covers problems caused by material or manufacturing defects, and it is restric-
ted to the rectication of these defects or replacement of the device. Please note that our devices
have not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Consequently, the
guarantee is invalidated if the equipment is used in commercial, trade or industrial applications or
for other equivalent activities. The following are also excluded from our guarantee: compensation for
transport damage, damage caused by failure to comply with the installation/assembly instructions
or damage caused by unprofessional installation, failure to comply with the operating instructions
(e.g. connection to the wrong mains voltage or current type), misuse or inappropriate use (such as
overloading of the device or use of non-approved tools or accessories), failure to comply with the
maintenance and safety regulations, ingress of foreign bodies into the device (e.g. sand, stones or
dust), eects of force or external inuences (e.g. damage caused by the device being dropped) and
normal wear resulting from proper operation of the device. This applies in particular to rechargeable
batteries for which we nevertheless issue a guarantee period of 12 months. The guarantee is rende-
red null and void if any attempt is made to tamper with the device.
3. The guarantee is valid for a period of 3 years starting from the purchase date of the device. Guaran-
tee claims should be submitted before the end of the guarantee period within two weeks of the de-
fect being noticed. No guarantee claims will be accepted after the end of the guarantee period. The
original guarantee period remains applicable to the device even if repairs are carried out or parts are
replaced. In such cases, the work performed or parts tted will not result in an extension of the gua-
rantee period, and no new guarantee will become active for the work performed or parts tted. This
also applies when an on-site service is used.
4. In order to assert your guarantee claim, please send your defective device postage-free to the
address shown below. Please enclose either the original or a copy of your sales receipt or ano-
ther dated proof of purchase. Please keep your sales receipt in a safe place, as it is your proof of
purchase. It would help us if you could describe the nature of the problem in as much detail as pos-
sible. If the defect is covered by our guarantee then your device will either be repaired immediately
and returned to you, or we will send you a new device.
Of course, we are also happy oer a chargeable repair service for any defects which are not covered by
the scope of this guarantee or for units which are no longer covered. To take advantage of this service,

Virtaamattomissa vesissä, puutarha- ja

saa pumppua käyttää vain varustettuna
vuotovirtasuojakytkimellä, jonka laukai-
seva mittausvuotovirta on enintään 30
mA (standardin VDE 0100, osan 702 ja
738 mukaan).
• Pumppu ei sovi käytettäväksi uima-alta-
issa, minkäänlaisissa loiskuttelualtaissa

• Käyttäjän tulee estää pumppuun tullei-
den häiriöiden aiheuttamat huoneiden
vesivauriot sopivilla toimenpiteillä (esim.
asentamalla hälytyslaitteen, varapum-
pun tms.).
• Jos pumppu ei toimi, saa tarvittavat kor-
jaustyöt suorittaa ainoastaan sähköalan
ammattihenkilö tai ISC-huoltopalvelu.
• Käytä ainoastaan alkuperäisiä varaosia.
• Pumppua ei koskaan saa käyttää
kuivana, tai täysin suljetulla imuteholla.
Kuivakäynnistä johtuvat pumpun vauriot
aiheuttavat valmistajan antaman takuun
raukeamisen.
• Pumppua ei saa käyttää uima-altaiden
täyttämiseen.
• Pumppua ei saa asentaa juomavesikier-
toon.
• Pumpattavan aineen suurin lämpötila ei
saa ylittää +35°C.
• Tällä pumpulla ei saa pumpata mitään

Suosittelemme periaatteellissesti esisuo-
dattimen sekä imuletkun, imukorin ja suun-
taisventtiilin sisältävän imuvarustepaketin
käyttöä.
Sen avulla vältetään pitkät uudelleenimuajat
ja pumpun tarpeeton vahingoittuminen kivis-
tä tai kiinteistä vieraista esineistä.




• Verkkoliitäntä tehdään suojakontaktein
varustetulla pistorasialla 230 V ~ 50 Hz.
Varoke vähintään 10 ampeeria. Huolehdi
siitä, että pistorasia on aina hyvin tavoi-
tettavissa.
• Päälle- ja poiskytkentä tehdään lait-
teessa olevalla katkaisimella (katso kuva
1/nro 2).
• Moottoriin sisäänrakennettu lämpötilan-
valvonta suojaa sitä ylikuumenemiselta
tai jumiutumiselta. Ylikuumenemisen
sattuessa lämpötilanvartija sammuttaa
pumpun automaattisesti, ja jäähtymisen
jälkeen pumppu käynnistyy jälleen oma-
toimisesti.

• Ruuvaa imuletku (muoviletku, väh. 19
mm (3/4 tuumaa), metallikierrelangalla
vahvistettu) suoraan tai kierrenippaa
käyttäen pumpun imuletkuliitäntään
(kuva 1/nro 5), n. 33 mm (R1 sisäkier-
teet).
• Käytetyssä imuletkussa tulee olla imu-
venttiili. Jos imuventtiiliä ei voi käyttää,
tulee imujohtoon asentaa suuntaisvent-
tiili.
• Vedä imuletku veden ottopisteestä
pumppuun päin nousevaksi. Vältä ehdot-
tomasti imujohdon vetämistä pumppua
korkeammalle; imujohtoon joutuneet
ilmakuplat hidastavat ja vaikeuttavat
imun aloittamista.
• Imu- ja paineletkut tulee asentaa niin,
että ne eivät aiheuta pumppuun kohdis-
tuvaa mekaanista painetta.
• Imuventtiilin tulee olla riittävän syvällä
vedessä, niin että vältetään veden-
pinnan alenemisen aiheuttama pumpun
käyminen kuivana.
• Epätiivis imujohto estää veden imemi-
sen imemällä ilmaa.
• Vältä vieraiden esineiden (hiekan yms.)
imemistä. Tarvittaessa tulee asentaa
esisuodatin.

• Painejohto (läpimitan tulee olla väh. 19
mm (3/4 tuumaa)) tulee liittää suoraan
tai kierrenipan avulla pumpun painejoh-
toliitäntään, n. 33 mm (R1 sisäkierteet)
(kuva 1/nro 7).
• Voit tietysti käyttää n. 13 mm (1/2 tu-
uman) paineletkua vastaavilla ruuvilii-
toksilla varustettuna. Pumpun nostoteho
alenee käytettäessä pienempää paine-
letkua.
• Imun aloituksen aikana tulee kaikki
painejohdossa olevat sulkulaitteet (ruis-
kusuuttimet, venttiilit jne.) avata täysin,
jotta imujohdossa oleva ilma pääsee
poistumaan vapaasti.

• Aseta pumppu tukevalle, tasaiselle alus-
talle.
• Ennen käyttöönottoa pumppu tulee
 alustaan, käytä
tähän tukijalassa olevia kiinnitysreikiä
(katso kuva 1/nro 3).
• Kiinnitä imuletku käyttövalmiiksi.
• Täytä pumppu vedentäyttöruuvista
(kuva 1/nro 6) täyttömerkkiin asti vedellä.
• Imun aloituksen aikana tulee kaikki
painejohdossa olevat sulkulaitteet (ruis-
kusuuttimet, venttiilit jne.) avata täysin,
jotta imujohdossa oleva ilma pääsee
poistumaan vapaasti.
• Imukorkeudesta ja imujohdossa olevasta
ilmamäärästä riippuen ensimmäinen
imunkäynnistys voi kestää n. 0,5 – 5 mi-
nuuttia. Jos imemisaloitus kestää pitem-
pään, täytä pumppuun lisää vettä.
• Jos pumppu otetaan käytön jälkeen
jälleen irti, niin seuraavan liittämisen ja
käyttöönoton aikana tulee ehdottomasti
täyttää siihen jälleen vettä.
• Tee sähköliitäntä.

• Pumppu ei tarvitse juuri lainkaan huol-
toa. Pitkän eliniän takaamiseksi suositte-
lemme kuitenkin säännöllisiä tarkastuk-
sia ja hoitotoimia.





• Ennen pitempää käyttötaukoa tai talvi-
säilytystä tulee pumppu huuhdella pe-
rusteellisesti vedellä, tyhjentää täysin ja
säilyttää kuivana.
• Tyhjennä vesi pumpun kotelosta avaa-
malla vedenlaskuruuvi (kuva 1/nro 4) ja

kallistamalla pumppua vähän.
• Pakkasen uhatessa täytyy pumppu tyh-
jentää täysin.
• Pitemmän seisonnan jälkeen tarkasta
painamalla päälle-pois-katkaisinta ly-
hyesti, pyöriikö roottori esteettömästi.
• Jos pumppu on mahdollisesti tukkeu-
tunut, liitä painejohto vesijohtoon ja ota
imuletku pois. Avaa vesijohto. Käynnistä
pumppu muutaman kerran n. kahden
sekunnin ajaksi. Tällä tavoin voidaan
tukkeutumat poistaa useimmissa ta-
pauksissa.
• Suosittelemme moottorin ja pumpun ko-
telon puhdistamiseen haaleaa vettä.






Säilytä laite ja sen varusteet valolta, kosteu-
delta ja pakkaselta suojatussa tilassa poissa
lasten ulottuvilta.
Paras säilytyslämpötila on 5°C:n ja 30°C:n
välillä. Säilytä laite mieluiten alkuperäispak-
kauksessaan.


Laite on pakattu kuljetuspakkaukseen, jotta
vältetään kuljetusvauriot. Tämä pakkaus on
raaka-ainetta ja sitä voi siksi käyttää uudel-
leen tai sen voi toimittaa kierrätyksen kautta
takaisin raaka-ainekiertoon. Laite ja sen
varusteet on valmistettu eri materiaaleista,
kuten esim. metallista ja muoveista. Toimita
vialliset rakenneosat ongelmajätehävityk-
seen. Tiedustele ohjeita alan ammattiliikkee-
stä tai kunnanhallitukselta!

Älä heitä sähkötyökaluja kotitalousjätteisiin!
Euroopan direktiivin 2002/96/EY, joka kos-
kee loppuunkäytettyjä sähkö- ja elektronisia
laitteita, ja sen kansalliseksi laiksi muunta-
misen mukaan tulee käytetyt sähkötyökalut
kerätä erikseen ja toimittaa ne ympäristöy-
stävälliseen kierrätykseen.
Kierrätysvaihtoehto takaisinlähetykselle:
Sähkölaitteen omistaja on velvoitettu lait-
teen palauttamisen vaihtoehtona vaikut-
tamaan siihen, että hänen luovuttamansa
omaisuus hävitetään asianmukaisesti.
Loppuun käytetty laite voidaan tätä varten
luovuttaa myös keräyspisteeseen, joka
suorittaa sen käytöstäpoiston kansallisten
kierrätystalous- ja jätehuoltolakien tarkoit-
tamalla tavalla. Tämä ei koske käytettyihin
laitteisiin liitettyjä lisävarusteita ja apuväline-
