Do not use High Speed Steel (HSS) blades.
The push stick or push block should always be stored with the machine when not in use.
Only use saw blades for which the maximum possible speed is not less than the maximum spindle speed of the tool
and the material to be cut.
When transporting the machine lift only by handles or solid parts, never use gaurds to move or transport the
machine.
During transportation, the upper part of the saw blade should be covered by the guard.
If you need to use an extension cable, make sure its conductor cross-section is large enough for the saw’s power
consumption. Minimum cross section : 1.0mm2.
After you have switched off the motor, never slow down the blade by applying pressure to its side.
Fit only blades which are well sharpened and have no cracks or deformations.
Faulty saw blades must be replaced immediately.
If you are interrupted while operation the saw, finish what you are doing and switch off the machine before looking
up.
Periodically check that all nuts, bolts and other fixings are properly tightened.
Always ensure that your work is on the table. Never use the tool to cut pieces that are not on the table.
Do not place your hands in awkward positions where one or both may slip suddenly and touch the saw blade.

6
When working with a long workpiece, use an additional support such as a saw blade to prevent the blade from
grabbing the work.
When cutting round wood, use clamps that prevent the workpiece from turning on the table.
There must be no nails or other foreign bodies in the part of the workpiece you want to cut.
Never load the machine so much that it slows down and overheats.
Never saw several workpieces simultaneously.
Never remove loose splinters, chips or jammed pieces of wood while the saw blade is running.
To rectify faults or remove jammed pieces of wood, always switch off the machine first and remove the mains plug.
Adjustments, measurements and cleaning jobs are to be performed only when the motor is switched off and the
mains plug removed.
All guards and safety devices have to be refitted immediately after completion of any repairs or maintenance.
The machine may only be used in a closed room when in conjunction with a suitable vacuum extraction system.

ASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTING THE RIP FENCE
The rip fence (Fig. 1, 7) provided with the table saw has two supporting surfaces with different heights.
According to the width of the material to be cut, the rip fence (Fig. 12, 25) must be set as shown in Fig. 11 for thin
wood pieces, and as Fig. 12, 25 for wood pieces of different widths.
To put the rip fence in these two positions you must loosen the two knobs (Fig. 13, 26), take the fence (Fig. 12, 25)
out from the support (Fig. 13, 24), replace the fence in the other groove (Fig. 13, 27 or 31), and again lock the two
knobs (Fig. 13, 26).
The rip fence (Fig. 12, 25) can be assembled as in Fig. 13, on the right side of support (Fig. 13, 24), or on the left
side by inverting the position of the screws and of the knobs (Fig. 13, 26). This allows you to assemble the rip fence
both on the right and on the left side of the blade.
The rip fence must be used to cut longitudinally.
1. Assemble the rip fence.
2. Loosen the lock handle (Fig. 1, 12).
3. Place the rip fence on the extruded section (Fig. 1, 22).
4. Place it at the desired distance from the blade, by using the lens and the graduated plate located on the extruded
section (Fig. 1, 22), and lock it be lowering the handle (Fig. 1, 12).
5. Cut as illustrated in Fig. 21, while keeping the wood piece perfectly leant on the rip fence.

20
ASSEMBLING THE MITRE GAUGE
You can use the mitre gauge to cut crosswise.
1. Insert the mitre gauge in the groove (Fig. 9, 49).
2. Loosen the knob (Fig. 9, 32), choose the desired angle and tighten the knob.
3. Keep the wood piece perfectly straight and proceed to cut.
BLADE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT HANDLE
By turning the handle (Fig. 4, 8), the saw blade can be raised or lowered compared to the workbench, thus changing
cutting depth from 0mm to the maximum cutting height of 73mm.
1. To increase cutting depth, turn the handle anti-clockwise.
2. To decrease cutting depth, turn the handle clockwise.
BLADE ANGLE AND LOCK HANDLE
Fig. 4, 9 shows the handle that can be used to tilt the blade from 0° to 45°.
1. Turn the internal handle clockwise to tilt the blade up to 45° and anti-clockwise to bring it to 0°.
2. After choosing the desired angle by using the graduated plate located on the side of the table saw, tighten lever
(Fig. 16, 51) by hand to lock the blade.
ADJUSTMENT OF RIP FENCE LENGTH
To prevent the wood piece from unjamming during cutting, and to prevent it from jumping towards the user, the end
of the rip fence (Fig. 13, 25) must be placed correctly.
The back end of the rip fence should always end on an imaginary line that, from the centre of the blade, goes as far
as the back side, with an inclination of 45°, as shown in Fig. 10.
Every time the wood piece’s width is different, you must check the longitudinal position of the rip fence.
