uninsulated equipment grounds and Figures 3 and 4 for
illustrations of AEG21 and AEG31 insulated equipment
grounds.
1. Attach terminals to the straps as shown in the
appropriate figure. Find the holes for mounting the
equipment ground at the opposite end of the box
from where it is stamped Line. If the box is painted,
scratch through the paint in the area where the strap
is to contact the box. Mount the equipment ground
with the two 10-32 thread-forming screws provided
and tighten to 25-30 in-lb.
2. Remove the paper backing from the identification
label provided. Place the label below the equipment
ground, approximately in the position shown.
