Bestimmungsgemässe Verwendung
Die Urinalsteuerung ist für folgende Verwendungen bestimmt:
• Für Urinale Centaurus
• Zur automatischen Spülauslösung von Urinalen
• Für Urinalinstallationen mit Zulauf von hinten und Abgang nach hin-
ten
Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäss. Der
Hersteller übernimmt keine Haftung für die Folgen aus nicht bestim-
mungsgemässer Verwendung.

Betriebsart
Die Urinalsteuerung löst in einem eingestellten Spülintervall eine Spülung aus. Eine Benutze-
rerkennung ist nicht vorgesehen.
Ab Werk löst die Urinalsteuerung alle 2Stunden eine Spülung mit einer Spülzeit von
5,5Sekunden (ca. 1,5l bei 4bar) aus. Die Spülzeit und das Spülintervall können in 6 Stufen
eingestellt werden. → Siehe „Spülzeit und Spülintervall einstellen“, Seite8.

Funktion prüfen
Nach dem Einsetzen der Batterie oder nach dem Anschliessen an die Netzspannung zeigt die
rote LED den Status der Urinalsteuerung an.

DE Spülzeit und Spülintervall einstellen
Spülzeit und Spülintervall müssen vor der Montage des Urinals eingestellt werden. Zum späte-
ren Ändern der Einstellungen muss das Urinal gemäss den Angaben des Herstellers demon-
tiert und nach dem Einstellen wieder montiert werden.
Werkseinstellung:
• Spülzeit: 5,5Sekunden (ca. 1,5l bei 4bar)
• Spülintervall: 2Stunden
Spülzeit und Spülintervall einstellen:
1Taste <Spülzeit> für 1Sekunde drücken.
✓ Die Einstellung der Spülzeit springt eine Stufe weiter. Die aktuelle Einstellung wird
mit Blinkimpulsen gemäss Tabelle unten angezeigt.
2Taste <Spülzeit> wiederholt für 1Sekunde drücken, bis gewünschte Spülzeit einge-
stellt ist.

Nach 6-maligem Drücken der Taste ist ein Durchgang beendet. Mit einem weiteren
Tastendruck beginnt die Einstellung wieder von vorne.
In Betrieb nehmen
Bei der Montage der Urinalkeramik wird der Helligkeitssensor in der Steuereinheit abgedeckt
und damit die Urinalsteuerung aktiviert. 3Minuten nach dem Abdecken wird die Funktion
gemäss folgender Tabelle bestätigt.
Spülauslösung Funktion
3x Spülen für 2Sekunden, 8Sekunden
Pause und 1x Spülen für 2Sekunden Urinalsteuerung ist einsatzbereit.

Intended use
The urinal flush control is intended for the following purposes:
• for Centaurus urinals
• for automatic flush actuation of urinals
• for urinal installations with inlet from the rear and outlet to the rear
Use for any other purpose is deemed improper. The manufacturer
accepts no liability for the consequences of improper use.

Operating mode
The urinal flush control actuates a flush at a set flush interval. There is no user recognition
function.
When the factory setting applies, the urinal flush control actuates a flush with a flush time of
5.5seconds (approximately 1.5l at 4bar) every 2hours. The flush time and flush interval can
be set in 6 levels. → See "Setting the flush time and flush interval", page16.

Testing the function
After the battery has been inserted or a connection to the mains voltage has been established,
the red LED indicates the status of the urinal flush control.
Red LED Status Description/measure
2 short flash pulses, then 2-
second pause OK Urinal flush control is functional.
No flash pulses Fault Urinal flush control is not functional: check
the battery or mains connection.
3 short flash pulses, then 2-
second pause Fault Solenoid valve is not connected to the control unit: check the cable connection.

EN Setting the flush time and flush interval
The flush time and flush interval must be set before the urinal is installed. If the settings need
to be changed later on, the urinal will need to be removed and then reinstalled again by
following the manufacturer’s instructions.
Factory setting:
• flush time: 5.5seconds (approx. 1.5l at 4bar)
• flush interval: 2 hours
Setting the flush time and flush interval:
1Press the <Flush time> button for 1second.
✓ The flush time setting advances one level. The current setting is shown with flash
pulses as indicated in the table below.
2Press the <Flush time> button repeatedly for 1second until the required flush time is
set.

Each cycle of setting options ends once the button has been pressed 6 times. The
next time the button is pressed, the setting options start from the beginning again.
Putting into operation
While the urinal ceramic appliance is being installed, the brightness sensor in the control unit
is covered, which activates the urinal flush control. 3minutes after the sensor is covered, the
function is confirmed as indicated in the table below.

Caring for and cleaning
smooth surfaces
All smooth surfaces can be cleaned hygien-
ically with water and a mild, liquid cleaning
agent that is kind to the skin.
ATTENTION
Surface damage caused by
aggressive and scouring
cleaning agents
▶ Never use cleaning agents
that contain chlorine or which
are acidic, abrasive or
corrosive.
Replacing the battery
Prerequisite
– Urinal ceramic appliance has been
demounted.
– Refer to illustration sequence 1,
page43 while carrying out the
instructions.
1Disconnect the cable and detach the
control unit.
2Remove and dispose of the dead
battery.
3Insert a new battery.
4Attach the control unit and connect
the cable.
Cleaning the basket filter
Prerequisite
– Urinal ceramic appliance has been
demounted.
– Refer to illustration sequence 2,
page44 while carrying out the
instructions.
1Close the angle stop valve.
2Loosen the reinforced braided hose
and remove the basket filter and
seal.
✓ Store the seal.
3Clean the basket filter.
4Insert the basket filter and seal.
Screw on the reinforced braided
hose.
