Sehr geehrter Kunde,
sehr geehrte Kundin,
wir danken Ihnen für den Kauf dieses Qualitätsproduktes. Bitte lesen Sie diese
Anleitung vor Inbetriebnahme sorgfältig durch. Beachten Sie insbesondere die
Vorsichtshinweise. Unsere Service-Informationen finden Sie am Schluss dieser
Anleitung.
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch:
Das Gerät dient ausschließlich zum Zerkleinern bzw. zur Vernichtung von maximal 10
Blatt Papier ohne Klammerheftung pro Vorgang. Eine davon abweichende Verwendung
ist als nicht bestimmungsgemäß zu bewerten und führt damit zum Erlöschen der
erweiterten Gewährleistung und gefährdet Ihre Sicherheit.
Das Gerät kann kein folienlaminiertes Papier oder Sichthüllen vernichten und kann
durch solch einen Fehlgebrauch irreparabel beschädigt werden.
Vorsichtsmaßnahmen:
Achtung:
 Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung bevor Sie mit dem Gerät arbeiten und
bewahren Sie diese für späteren Gebrauch gut auf.
 Halten Sie lange und/oder flattrige Gegenstände, z.B. Bekleidungsstücke (Schals,
Krawatten, etc.) und Schmuck (Halsketten, Armbänder, etc.), aber auch lange
Haare fern von der Einschuböffnung um Verletzungen zu vermeiden.
 Schalten Sie das Gerät vollständig ab und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn Sie
es längere Zeit nicht benutzen.
 Stecken Sie keine Hand oder Finger in den Einzugsschacht, da schwerwiegende
Verletzungen die Folge sein können.
 Vermeiden Sie generell den Kontakt mit Flüssigkeiten und sprühen Sie keine
brennbaren Flüssigkeiten, Druckluft oder Gase auf oder in das Gerät, da diese
sich leicht entzünden könnten.
 Schalten Sie das Gerät ab oder ziehen Sie den Stecker bevor Sie das Gerät
bewegen, reinigen oder entleeren.
 Schalten Sie das Gerät bei Beschädigungen oder nicht ordnungsgemäßer
Funktion sofort ab und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker. Lassen Sie das Gerät von
einem Fachhändler oder dem Kundendienst prüfen.
 Öffnen Sie bei technischen Problemen keinesfalls die Schneideeinheit. Wenden
Sie sich in solchen Fällen an die Serviceadresse am Ende dieser Anleitung.
 Das Gerät darf mit einem beschädigten Stromkabel nicht betrieben werden.

 Leeren Sie regelmäßig den Auffangbehälter.
 Lassen Sie den Shredder nicht unbeaufsichtigt, vor allem wenn Kinder oder Tiere
in der Nähe sind. Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie Kinder und Haustiere
davon fern.
 Das Gerät ist nur für die Benutzung in geschlossenen Räumen geeignet.
 Stellen Sie das Gerät in der Nähe einer im Notfall leicht erreichbaren Stromquelle
auf und verwenden Sie möglichst kein Verlängerungskabel.
 Diese Maschine wurde zur Vernichtung von Papier bis zur Größe DIN A4 (80g/m²)
konzipiert. Größere Papiere müssen Sie bitte vor der Vernichtung auf A4-Größe
falten oder zerkleinern.
 Um eine Überladung zu vermeiden, achten Sie darauf, die angegebene maximale
Anzahl an Blättern pro Vorgang nicht zu überschreiten.
 Führen Sie keine Plastikfolien oder Metallstreifen durch das Schneidewerk, da
solche Materialien die Messer beschädigen können.
 Entfernen Sie alle Büroklammern und Heftklammern vor dem Einführen des
Papiers.
Den Aktenvernichter aufstellen:
1. Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einer geraden und ebenen Fläche auf.
2. Achten Sie bitte darauf, das Gerät fern von Heizkörpern oder Wärmequellen zu
platzieren.
3. Vermeiden Sie nach Möglichkeit die Verwendung von Verlängerungskabeln und
Mehrfachsteckdosen, sondern verbinden Sie das Netzkabel direkt mit dem Gerät und
der Wandsteckdose (entsprechend den technischen Daten).
4. Den Aktenvernichter sicher oben auf einen Papierkorb setzen. Achten Sie dabei darauf,
dass Sie Ihre Finger nicht zwischen dem Oberrand des Papierkorbes und dem
Aktenvernichteraufsatz einklemmen.
5. Den Netzstecker an eine übliche 220-240-Volt-Wechselstrom-Steckdose anschließen.
Wichtiger Hinweis:
Das Gerät ist mit einem Auslösemechanismus versehen, der eine Funktion des Gerätes
verhindert, wenn dieses nicht ordnungsgemäß auf dem mitgelieferten Papierkorb
betrieben wird. Das Gerät muss bündig mit dem Rand des Papierkorbes abschließen.
Die dort vorhandenen Erhöhungen greifen in das Gerät und geben den Betrieb frei.
Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, setzen Sie das Gerät erneut auf den Papierkorb oder
setzen es auf dem gegenüberliegenden Rand auf. Sie hören ein leises Klicken.
Den Aktenvernichter in Betrieb nehmen:
Der Schalter befindet sich oben auf dem Gerät und kann in drei (3) Positionen gestellt werden.
1. AUTO-Position: der Schneidevorgang wird automatisch gestartet, sobald das zu
vernichtende Papier, CD/DVD oder eine Kreditkarte in die entsprechende Eingabeöffnung
eingeführt wird.
Führen Sie bitte keine CD/DVD oder Kreditkarten in die Eingabeöffnung ein, während Sie
Papier zerkleinern. Bitte achten Sie auch darauf, dass das Gerät, während Sie eine
CD/DVD oder Kreditkarte vernichten, nicht gleichzeitig Papier vernichten kann.

Sobald das zu vernichtende Material komplett durch das Schneidewerk gezogen wurde,
stoppt der Schneidevorgang automatisch.
2. REV dient zum Entfernen eines Papierstaus. Hier wird die Laufrichtung des
Schneidevorgangs vor dem Beenden eines Arbeitszyklus’ umgekehrt, um die
Schneidklingen zu befreien. Sollten Sie feststellen, dass zuviel Papier eingeführt wurde
und der Zerkleinerungsvorgang sich spürbar verlangsamt, stellen Sie den Schalter sofort
auf diese Position, ebenso, falls versehentlich Papier eingeführt wurde.
3. Zum Leeren des Papierkorbes oder falls das Gerät über eine längere Zeit nicht benutzt
wird, sollte der Schalter auf OFF gestellt und das Gerät vom Stromnetz getrennt werden.
Dieses Gerät ist nur für den privaten Gebrauch in geschlossenen Räumen und für
einen kurzen Dauerbetrieb von maximal 2 Minuten konstruiert. Verwenden Sie den
Aktenvernichter nicht im gewerblichen Bereich und nicht im Freien.
Kapazität des Aktenvernichters:
Der 250 CD schneidet bis zu 7 Blatt Papier (DIN A4, 80g/m²). Die Papierbreite kann bis zu
22cm betragen. Beim Zerkleinern von kleinen Papieren, wie beispielsweise Briefumschlägen
oder Kreditkartenquittungen, führen Sie diese in die Mitte der Reißöffnung ein.
Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass nie mehr als die oben angegebene Maximalmenge in das
Schneidewerk eingeführt wird. Das Gerät kann dadurch beschädigt werden
Separates Schneidwerk für CDs und Kreditkarten:
Dieser Aktenvernichter ist mit einem separaten Schneidwerk für CDs/DVDs und Kreditkarten
ausgestattet. CDs/DVDs werden in 3 Teile zerschnitten. Da bei diesen Materialien immer die
Gefahr des Splitterns besteht, halten Sie Ihr Gesicht beim Einführen von CDs/DVDs in
ausreichendem Abstand. Das Schnittgut wird in einem separaten Auffangbehälter gesammelt
und erleichtert somit die umweltgerechte Entsorgung!
Betrieb:
Schalten Sie den Schiebeschalter auf der Vorderseite auf „AUTO“. Das Gerät ist jetzt
betriebsbereit.
Zerkleinern von Papier
Führen Sie maximal 7 Blätter Papier (80g/m²) auf einmal im Hochformat in die Einfuhröffnung.
Das Papier wird von Sensoren erkannt, das Schneidwerk startet und das Papier wird
automatisch eingezogen. Kurze Zeit nachdem sich kein Papier mehr im Schneidwerk befindet,
stoppt es wieder.
Überladung:
Sollten Sie mehr Papier einlegen, stoppt das Schneidwerk. In diesem Fall schieben Sie den
Schiebeschalter auf „REV“ um das Papier wieder zu entnehmen. Reduzieren Sie die Anzahl
der Blätter und versuchen es erneut.

Überhitzung:
Wenn Sie die angegebene Zeit von 2 Minuten des maximalen Dauerbetriebs überschreiten,
kann es passieren, dass der Motor überhitzt. In diesem Fall stoppt das Schneidwerk. Der
Antrieb wird automatisch vom Strom getrennt und schaltet sich selbstständig wieder ein, wenn
der Motor sich ausreichend abgekühlt hat. Schieben Sie daher den Schalter auf die „OFF“-
Position und lassen das Gerät eine angemessene Zeit abkühlen.
Der angegebene Dauerbetrieb von 2 Minuten wird nur bei vollständig abgekühlter Maschine
erreicht. Eine vollständige Abkühlung um erneut 2 Minuten Dauerbetrieb zu erreichen dauert
etwa 60 Minuten.
Entfernen von Papierresten:
Schalten Sie den Schiebeschalter auf „OFF“ und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker. Entfernen Sie
den Aktenvernichteraufsatz. Entfernen Sie eventuell anhaftende Schnipsel aus dem
Schneidwerk. Die Klingen sind sehr scharf, seien Sie daher besonders vorsichtig! Setzen Sie
den Aktenvernichteraufsatz wieder auf, stecken Sie den Netzstecker ein und schalten Sie das
Gerät wieder ein. Sie können mit dem Gerät weiter arbeiten.
Ausschalten:
Schalten Sie das Gerät am Schiebeschalter auf „OFF“ um es komplett abzuschalten.

Dear customer,
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. Please carefully read through this
manual before first using the device, paying particular attention to the safety warnings.
You can find information on how to contact support at the end of these operating
instructions.
Correct use:
This device is solely intended to shred/destroy a maximum of 7 (unstapled) sheets of
paper per operation. Any other use is deemed incorrect use and thus will invalidate the
extended warranty and endanger your safety. The device cannot shred laminated paper
or plastic sleeves and will be irreparably damaged if used in this way.
Safety precautions:
Warning:
 Read through these operating instructions before starting to use the device and
keep them safe for later consultation.
 To avoid injury, keep long and/or lightweight objects, such as clothing (scarves,
ties, etc.), jewellery (necklaces, bracelets, etc.) as well as long hair away from the
opening where paper is inserted.
 If the device is not going to be used for an extended period, switch it off entirely
and unplug the power socket.
 Do not insert hands or fingers into the input slot since this may cause serious
injuries.
 Avoid all contact with liquids and do not spray any flammable liquids, compressed
air or gases into or onto the device as these could easily ignite.
 Unplug or switch off the device before moving, cleaning or emptying it.
 Immediately switch off the device in the event of damage or improper functioning
and unplug the power socket. Get the device checked by a specialist dealer or
customer service.
 On no account should you should you open the cutting unit if there are technical
issues. In such an event, contact customer service using the information at the
end of these operating instructions.
 The device must not be operated using a damaged power cable.
 Empty the collecting container regularly.

 Do not leave the shredder unattended, especially if there are children or animals
nearby. The device is not a toy – ensure it is out of the reach of children and
animals.
 The device is only suitable for use indoors.
 Keep the device as close as possible to the source of power in case of
emergencies and, if possible, do not use an extension cable.
 This device was designed to shred paper up to DIN A4 size (80g/m²). Larger
sheets of paper must be folded or cut until they are A4-sized or smaller.
 To avoid overloading, ensure that you do not exceed the maximum number of
sheets per operation.
 Do not insert any plastic covers or metal strips into the cutting unit since such
materials may damage the blades.
 Remove all paper clips and staples before inserting the paper.
Placing the shredder:
1. Place the device on a smooth flat surface.
2. Ensure the device is positioned at a distance from heaters and other sources of heat.
3. Where possible, avoid using extension cables or multi-way sockets. It is advisable to
connect the device directly to the wall socket using the power cable (in accordance with
the technical specifications).
4. Safely position the shredder above the paper basket while ensuring your fingers do
not get caught between the top of the paper basket and the shredder attachment.
5. Connect the mains plug to a conventional 220-240 volt AC power socket.
Important notice:
The device is fitted with a release mechanism which stops the device from functioning if
it is not being operated correctly with the paper basket provided. The unit must be flush
with the edge of the paper basket with the extensions locking into the device to enable it
to function. If this does not occur, re-position the device on the paper basket or place it
the other way around until you hear a faint click.
Operating the shredder:
A switch is located on the top of the device and can be set in three (3) positions.
1. AUTO position: the cutting process is automatically initiated as soon as paper, a CD/DVD
or credit card is inserted into the corresponding input slot. Please do not insert any
CDs/DVDs or credit cards into the input slot while shredding paper since the device is
incapable of shredding of paper at the same time as CDs/DVDs or credit cards. Once the
chosen material has fully passed through the cutting unit, the cutting process will stop
automatically.
2. REV is used to fix paper blockages. This changes the cutting direction before an operating
cycle has ended enabling the blades to be released. If you realise that you have
unintentionally inserted too much paper, and the shredding process becomes noticeably
slower, set the switch to this position.

3. The switch should be set to OFF if you wish to empty the paper basket, or do not intend to
use the device for an extended period. After doing so, unplug the device from the power
supply.
The device is only intended for personal use indoors and for a short operation
period of a maximum of 2 minutes. Do not use the shredder for commercial
purposes or outdoors.
Shredder capacity:
The 250 CD is capable of shredding up to 7 sheets of paper (DIN A4, 80g/m²) at once. Paper
width may not exceed 22cm. When shredding small pieces of paper, such as envelopes or
credit card receipts, the paper should be inserted in the middle of the opening. Please ensure
that you never insert more than the stated maximum quantity into the cutting unit as this may
damage the device.
Separate cutting unit for CDs and credit cards:
This shredder is fitted with a separate cutting unit for CDs/DVDs and credit cards. CDs/DVDs
are cut into 3 sections. Keep your face at a suitable distance from the device when inserting
CDs/DVDs since these materials are at risk of splitting. The shredded material is collected in a
separate container which will help you dispose of the waste in an environmentally-friendly
manner.
How to operate:
Set the switch on the front side to “AUTO”. The device will then be ready to operate.
Shredding paper
Insert a maximum of 7 sheets of paper (80g/m²) in portrait orientation into the input slot. The
paper will be recognised by the sensors, the cutting unit will start and the paper will be
automatically drawn in. The operation will finish once there is no more paper in the cutting unit.
Overloading:
If you insert too much paper, the cutting unit will stop. In this event, set the switch to “REV” in
order to remove the paper. Reduce the number of sheets and then try again.
Overheating:
If you exceed the indicated maximum operating time of 2 minutes, there is a possibility of the
motor overheating. In this event, the cutting unit will stop. The drive will be automatically
disconnected from the power and will restart on its own once the motor has cooled down
sufficiently. You should therefore set the switch to the “OFF” position and let the device cool
down for an appropriate length of time. The maximum continuous operation time of 2 minutes
can only be reached with a sufficiently cool device. Cooling the device down sufficiently to
operate it again for 2 minutes takes around 60 minutes.
Removal of leftover paper:
Set the switch to “OFF” and unplug the power socket. Remove the shredding attachment and
then you will able to take out any scraps of paper that have become caught in the cutting unit.
The blades are very sharp so you should proceed with extra caution! Place the shredder

attachment back on top, plug in the power socket and turn the device on again. You will then
be able to start using the device again.
Turning off:
Set the switch to “OFF” in order to turn the device off entirely.

to the housing. Devices that have been damaged on the outside are not eligible for exchange.
The warranty will not apply if repairs have been carried out without the express agreement of
our customer service.
Warranty repairs can only be performed if the proof of purchase is enclosed – please notify
us by telephone of any returns! Only returns that have sufficient amount of postage and
which also include a corresponding return number will be accepted. Please provide your name,

Uso previsto:

 El dispositivo solo es apto para su utilización en espacios cerrados.
 Coloque el dispositivo cerca de una toma de corriente de fácil acceso en caso de
emergencia y, siempre que sea posible, no utilice cables alargadores.
 Este dispositivo ha sido diseñado para la destrucción de papel de tamaño hasta
DIN A4 (80g/m²). Papeles de mayor tamaño deberán ser doblados o reducidos al
tamaño A4 antes de su destrucción.
 Para evitar la sobrecarga, asegúrese de no exceder el número máximo de hojas
especificado por operación.
 No introduzca láminas de plástico o tiras de metal en el mecanismo de corte,
dado que este tipo de materiales pueden dañar las cuchillas.
 Retire todas las grapas y clips antes de insertar el papel en la trituradora.
Colocación de la trituradora de papel:
1. Coloque el dispositivo sobre una superficie plana y nivelada.
2. Asegúrese de colocar el dispositivo alejado de radiadores y fuentes de calor.
3. Evite, siempre que sea posible, la utilización de cables alargadores y tomas de
corriente múltiples, conecte el cable de alimentación del dispositivo directamente al
enchufe de la pared (de acuerdo con los datos técnicos).
4. Coloque la trituradora de papel firmemente sobre una papelera. Asegúrese de no
pillarse los dedos entre el borde superior de la papelera y la trituradora de papel.
5. Conecte el enchufe de alimentación a una toma de corriente estándar de 220-240
voltios.
Aviso importante:
El dispositivo dispone de un mecanismo de activación que impide su funcionamiento
siempre que no se encuentre correctamente colocado sobre la papelera suministrada.
El dispositivo debe quedar ajustado de forma precisa con el borde de la papelera. Las
pestañas dispuestas en la papelera encajan en el dispositivo y activan su
funcionamiento. Si este no fuera el caso, vuelva a colocar el dispositivo sobre la
papelera o colóquelo en el borde opuesto. Se escucha un ligero clic.
Puesta en marcha de la trituradora de papel:
El interruptor se encuentra en la parte superior del dispositivo y dispone de tres (3) posiciones.
1. Posición AUTO: El proceso de corte se inicia automáticamente en cuanto se introduce el
papel, CD/DVD o una tarjeta de crédito a ser destruida en la ranura de entrada
correspondiente.
No inserte ningún CD/DVD o tarjeta de crédito en la ranura de entrada mientras se está
triturando papel. De igual manera, tenga en cuenta que el dispositivo tampoco puede

triturar papel mientras se está destruyendo un CD/DVD o tarjeta de crédito.
En cuanto el material a destruir haya atravesado por completo el mecanismo de corte, el
proceso de corte se detiene automáticamente.
2. REV se utiliza para desatascar el papel. En esta posición se invierte la dirección del
proceso de corte antes de finalizar un ciclo de trabajo para liberar las cuchillas de corte. Si
detecta que el proceso de trituración se ralentiza notablemente debido a que se ha
introducido una cantidad excesiva de papel, o en caso de haber introducido el papel de
manera accidental, coloque inmediatamente el interruptor en esta posición.
3. Para el vaciado de la papelera o si el dispositivo no va a ser utilizado durante un largo
periodo de tiempo, coloque el interruptor en la posición OFF y desconecte el dispositivo
de la red eléctrica.
Este dispositivo se ha diseñado exclusivamente para uso privado en espacios
cerrados y para funcionamientos continuos cortos de como máximo 2 minutos. No
utilice la trituradora de papel en el ámbito comercial ni al aire libre.
Capacidad de la trituradora de papel:
250 CD corta hasta 7 hojas de papel (DIN A4, 80g/m²). El ancho del papel no debe exceder los
22 cm. Para la trituración de documentos más pequeños, tales como sobres o recibos de
tarjetas de crédito, introdúzcalos en el centro de la abertura de cremallera.
Asegúrese de no introducir nunca en el mecanismo de corte más de la cantidad máxima
especificada con anterioridad. Esto podría dañar el dispositivo.
Mecanismo de corte independiente para CD y tarjetas de crédito:
Esta trituradora de papel dispone de un mecanismo de corte independiente para CD/DVD y
tarjetas de crédito. Los CD/DVD se cortan en 3 trozos. Dado que con este tipo de materiales
siempre existe riesgo de que se astillen, mantenga la cara a una distancia segura durante la
inserción de los CD/DVD. ¡El material cortado se acumula en un recipiente separado
facilitando la eliminación correcta de los residuos!
Funcionamiento:
Coloque el interruptor de la parte delantera en la posición "AUTO". El dispositivo ya está listo
para funcionar.
Trituración de papel:
Introduzca como máximo 7 hojas de papel (80g/m²) de una vez en posición vertical en la
abertura de entrada. Los sensores detectan el papel, se inicial el mecanismo de corte y el
papel se carga automáticamente. El mecanismo de corte se detiene poco tiempo después de
quedarse sin papel.

Sobrecarga:
Si carga demasiado papel, el mecanismo de corte se detiene. En este caso, coloque el
interruptor en la posición "REV" para volver a extraer el papel. Reduzca el número de hojas e
inténtelo de nuevo.
Sobrecalentamiento:
Si excede el tiempo máximo de funcionamiento continuo especificado de 2 minutos, es posible
que el motor se sobrecaliente. En este caso, el mecanismo de corte se detiene. El
accionamiento se desconecta automáticamente de la corriente y se vuelve a conectar de
forma autónoma una vez que el motor se ha enfriado lo suficiente. Coloque el interruptor en la
posición "OFF" y deje que el dispositivo se enfríe el tiempo necesario.
El funcionamiento continuo especificado de 2 minutos solo se alcanza si la máquina se ha
enfriado completamente. Un enfriamiento completo que vuelva a permitir un funcionamiento
continuo de 2 minutos de duración, tarda alrededor de 60 minutos.
Limpieza de los restos de papel:
Coloque el interruptor en la posición "OFF" y desconecte el enchufe de alimentación. Retire la
parte superior de la trituradora de papel. Retire cualquier fragmento de papel adherido del
mecanismo de corte. ¡Las cuchillas están muy afiladas, tenga mucho cuidado! Vuelva a
colocar la parte superior de la trituradora de papel, conecte el enchufe de alimentación y
vuelva a conectar el dispositivo. Ya puede seguir utilizando el dispositivo.
Apagado:
Coloque el interruptor del dispositivo en "OFF" para apagarlo completamente.

raccomanda di leggere attentamente le presenti istruzioni, prestando particolare
prestare attenzione alle indicazioni di sicurezza. Alla fine delle istruzioni sono fornite
informazioni relative al servizio di assistenza.
Uso conforme
L'apparecchio è destinato esclusivamente alla frantumazione e/o alla distruzione di un
massimo di 7 fogli alla volta privi di punti per cucitrice. Un uso diverso da quello
previsto non è da considerarsi conforme e, pertanto, comporta la decadenza della
garanzia estesa, oltre a mettere a rischio la sicurezza dell'utilizzatore.
L'apparecchio non distrugge carta con lamina in alluminio o cartelline di plastica e può
essere danneggiato irreparabilmente se utilizzato per frantumare detti prodotti.

Attenzione
 Prima di utilizzare l'apparecchio, si raccomanda di leggere le presenti istruzioni
per l'uso e di conservarle con cura per un’eventuale consultazione successiva.
 Per evitare lesioni, si raccomanda di tenere distanti dall'apertura di alimentazione
della carta oggetti lunghi e/o in grado di fluttuare, quali ad esempio elementi di
vestiario (sciarpe, cravatte ecc.) e ornamenti (catene, bracciali ecc.) o capelli
lunghi.
 Spegnere completamente l'apparecchio e scollegarlo dalla rete di alimentazione
quando non è in uso.
 Non introdurre mani o dita nello scomparto di caricamento, per evitare di
provocare lesioni gravi.
 Evitare in genere il contatto con liquidi; non spruzzare liquidi infiammabili, aria
compressa o gas sull'apparecchio o al suo interno, poiché possono infiammarsi
facilmente.
 Prima di spostare, pulire o vuotare l'apparecchio, spegnerlo o scollegarlo dalla
rete di alimentazione.
 Se danneggiato o se non funziona correttamente, spegnere immediatamente

 Vuotare regolarmente il recipiente di raccolta.
 Il distruggidocumenti non deve essere lasciato incustodito, in particolar modo
quando nelle vicinanze sono presenti bambini o animali. L'apparecchio non è un
giocattolo. Tenere a distanza bambini e animali.
 L'apparecchio può essere utilizzato solo in ambienti chiusi.
 Si consiglia di collocare l'apparecchio in prossimità di una fonte di alimentazione
elettrica facilmente raggiungibile e, se possibile, di non utilizzare una prolunga.
 Il prodotto è stato studiato per distruggere carta di dimensioni massime DIN A4
(80g/m²). Fogli di carta di dimensioni maggiori devono essere piegati o ridotti fino
alla dimensione A4 prima di distruggerli.
 Per evitare il sovraccarico, si raccomanda di non superare il numero massimo di
fogli indicato per ciclo.
 Non introdurre nel dispositivo di taglio fogli di plastica o strisce di metalli; questi
materiali danneggerebbero le lame.
 Prima di introdurre la carta, rimuovere tutte le graffette.
Installazione del distruggidocumenti
1. Collocare l'apparecchio su una superficie diritta e piana.
2. Tenere a distanza da radiatori o fonti di calore.
3. Se possibile, evitare di utilizzare cavi di prolunga e prese multiple e collegare il cavo di
alimentazione dell'apparecchio direttamente alla presa a muro (nel rispetto dei dati
tecnici).
4. Disporre il distruggidocumenti in sicurezza sul cestino della carta. Attenzione a non
intrappolare le dita tra il bordo superiore del cestino della carta e il coperchio del
distruggidocumenti.
5. Collegare il cavo di alimentazione a una comune presa di corrente alternata da 220-240
Volt.
Nota importante
L'apparecchio è dotato di un meccanismo di rilascio che ne impedisce il funzionamento
quando non viene utilizzato regolarmente sul cestino della carta fornito in dotazione.
L'apparecchio deve combaciare con il bordo del cestino. I rialzi presenti fanno presa
sull'apparecchio e abilitano il funzionamento. In caso contrario, disporre l'apparecchio
nuovamente sul cestino della carta o sul bordo contrapposto. Si udrà un lieve scatto.
Funzionamento del distruggidocumenti
L'interruttore si trova nella parte alta dell'apparecchio e può essere regolato in tre (3) posizioni.
1. AUTO: il processo di taglio si avvia automaticamente nel momento in cui la carta, il
CD/DVD o una carta di credito vengono introdotti nell'apertura di alimentazione
corrispondente.
Mentre è in corso la frantumazione della carta si raccomanda di non introdurre CD/DVD o
carte di credito nell'apertura. Mentre è in corso la distruzione di un CD/DVD o di una carta

di credito, l'apparecchio non è in grado di distruggere contemporaneamente anche la
carta.
Non appena il materiale da distruggere è transitato completamente attraverso il dispositivo
di taglio, il processo di taglio si interrompe automaticamente.
2. REV: si utilizza per sbloccare un inceppamento della carta. La direzione di avanzamento
della carta del processo di taglio viene invertita prima che si concluda il ciclo di lavoro, per
liberare i frammenti. Se è stata introdotta troppa carta e il processo di frammentazione
rallenta in maniera evidente, si raccomanda di porre l'interruttore immediatamente in
questa posizione; lo stesso dicasi se è stata introdotta della carta accidentalmente.
3. Per vuotare il cestino della carta o se l'apparecchio non viene utilizzato per un lasso di
tempo prolungato, l'interruttore deve essere posizionato su OFF e deve essere scollegato
dalla rete di alimentazione.
L'apparecchio è progettato per uso privato in ambienti chiusi e per tempi brevi, al
massimo di 2 minuti. L'apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato in ambito
commerciale e all'aperto.
Capacità del distruggidocumenti
Il modello 250 CD taglia un massimo di 7 fogli di carta (DIN A4, 80g/m²). La larghezza della
carta non deve superare i 22 cm. In caso di frammentazione di carta di dimensione minori,
come ad esempio le buste o le ricevute delle carte di credito, questi tagli di carta devono
essere introdotti al centro dell'apertura di lacerazione.
Nel dispositivo di taglio non deve mai essere introdotta una quantità massima che superi quella
sopra indicata; l'apparecchio potrebbe danneggiarsi.
Dispositivo di taglio separato per CD e carte di credito:
Il distruggidocumenti è dotato di un dispositivo di taglio separato per CD/DVD e carte di
credito. I CD/DVD vengono tagliati in 3 parti. Poiché con questi materiali sussiste sempre il
rischio che si scheggino, si raccomanda di tenere il viso a distanza sufficiente dai CD/DVD. I
ritagli vengono raccolti in un contenitore separato, facilitando in tal modo lo smaltimento
ecologico.
Funzionamento
Regolare l'interruttore scorrevole sul lato anteriore sulla posizione "AUTO". L'apparecchio è
pronto per il funzionamento.
Frammentazione della carta
Introdurre nell'apertura contemporaneamente un massimo di 7 fogli di carta (80g/m²) orientati
in senso verticale. La carta viene riconosciuta da sensori; il dispositivo di taglio viene avviato e
la carta viene caricata. Qualche attimo dopo essersi svuotato, il dispositivo di taglio si arresta
nuovamente.
Carico eccessivo
Se viene introdotta troppa carta, il dispositivo di taglio si arresta. In questo caso, spostare
l'interruttore scorrevole su "REV" per estrarre la carta. Ridurre il numero dei fogli e riprovare.

Surriscaldamento
Quando si supera la durata massima di funzionamento continuativo indicata di 2 minuti, il
motore può surriscaldarsi. In questo caso, il dispositivo di taglio si arresta. L'azionamento viene
separato automaticamente della corrente è si riattiva autonomamente quando il motore si è
raffreddato a sufficienza. Riportare quindi l'interruttore nella posizione "OFF" e lasciare
raffreddare l'apparecchio per il tempo necessario.
Il funzionamento continuativo indicato di 2 minuti viene raggiunto solo con l'apparecchio
completamente raffreddato. Per raffreddare completamente l'apparecchio e avere a
disposizione nuovamente un funzionamento continuativo di 2 minuti, occorrono circa 60 minuti.
Rimozione di residui di carta
Portare l'interruttore nella posizione "OFF" e scollegare l'apparecchio dalla rete di
alimentazione. Rimuovere il coperchio del distruggidocumenti. Rimuovere dal dispositivo di
taglio eventuali trucioli rimasti attaccati. Le lame sono molto affilate, pertanto si raccomanda di
usare particolare attenzione. Ricollocare in posizione il coperchio del distruggidocumenti,
ricollegare l'apparecchio alla rete di alimentazione e accendere nuovamente l'apparecchio. È
possibile continuare a lavorare con l'apparecchio.
Spegnimento
Per spegnere completamente l'apparecchio, portare l'interruttore scorrevole sulla posizione
"OFF".
