STEP 3
Place the desks top on. Center the top left-to-right. Adjust
the top so there is a 1 inch overhang on the front edge of the
desk. Attach the top with the 18 #14 x 1” lag screws by
screwing into the underside of the top. (View illustration).
There are 18 total mounting holes for the top (6 in the left
leg, 3 in the right leg, 6 for the side cabinet, and 3 for the
back modesty panel). Re-Install drawers once top is secured.
Remove drawers from side cabinet assembly to access mounting holes. Install side cabinet by
inserting the six tabs on the side of the cabinet into the rectangle slots of the leg panel (See left
image below). It is recommended to have two people to help line up all six tabs into the leg, if
all six are not properly lined up the cabinet will not mount flush to the leg. Be sure that all six
tabs are protruding from the cabinet as pictured, it may be necessary to bend the tabs out if they
have been bent in. Once all six tabs are inserted carefully push cabinet down till top edge of
cabinet is level with the top edge of leg panel. Use four #8 x 5/8” sheet metal screws to secure
cabinet to the leg in the locations pictured in the right image below.
